World Dive.

"Hello can I buy ten waffles? Please separate them to 5" A girl with blonde hair that looks like a 12-year-old said as the person behind her sighed and shake his head.
"Fio, you shouldn't spend our money mindlessly" The young man with black hair said sighing again.
"This is important Eugo" The blonde answered back as she received the waffles.
Of course, these two are Fio and Eugo.
"Here," Fio said handing him a waffle.
"Won't you get fat if you eat too much?" Eugo asked trying to stop the blonde loli.
"I don't care"
"Well I already expected that"
"Come on you are so slow let's hurry" Eugo said running ahead while eating.
"Yeah yeah" Fio answered, quickening her footsteps.
When they are still a child, Fio will usually say words like "Why are you in a rush we still had so much time yet" or "Oh come on I'm too lazy to run just go on ahead already" but all of them become a bad ending...
Fio shivered, she remembered how Eugo will complain to her father about that and her father will answer. "Go and discipline the naughty child Eugo" which Eugo always comply and in turn her butt will hurt because Eugo spanked him.
'He won't spank me since I'm a girl and an adult now right?' She thought shivering.
"Oi! We are late already!"
"I look at the time it's only 11:39! Our class starts at noon!"
"Sigh, I'll spank you!"
"W-What?"
'How did he remember that?' Fio wondered as she runs following Eugo.
"Just kidding" Eugo said smirking.
Since they are childhood friends, Eugo found many things that Fio didn't know she was doing. Like how she shivered when he was telling her to hurry up. Because they had always done this before, Eugo had grown used to it but since his childhood friend drops from school at high school because his parent died, Fio must have forgotten that he can read her antics.
Slowing down his speed, Eugo glanced at his friend that are having a hard time catching up.
"Right I forgot you are a girl now" He muttered irking Fio.
"But you lost huh"
"Lost on what?" Fio asked curiously.
"You lost, you become a girl"
"Eh what?"
"I mean, aren't we hoping that our childhood friend will turn to a girl because we are being influenced by mangas and light novels?" Eugo said grinning but Fio snort and didn't say anything.
Eugo chuckled, his best friend snorting is cute.
"Hey stop for a bit" Fio pleaded while gasping for air.
"Huh why?" Eugo asked analyzing if his friend is tired from continuous running already.
Bam!
"Aw!" Shouting in pain, Eugo hugged his knee as Fio continue walking ahead while looking at him in disgust.
"Hey why did you kick my knee!" He complained.
"You bastard are thinking something malicious at me!"
"What?"
"I'm sure you must be thinking 'My childhood friend is cute or my childhood friend snort is cute' Isn't it?!!" Fio said as she turned around leaving Eugo alone.
'I guess I'm not the only one who can read his childhood friend' Eugo thought smiling wryly.

"That guy is having distorted thoughts, Hmph like hell I will let it be" Fio muttered as she glanced at the map.

Arriving in front of a wide stairs with a height of a 4-floor building, Fio gulp as she glanced to her right seeing Eugo panting.
"Hey why are you even more tired than me?" She asked curiously.
"You kicked my knee"
"Okay" Fio nodded, understandable.
She never kicked Eugo's knee ever since before but since she's a girl now, she had taken advantage of that. Sometimes she wants to punch Eugo in the face when she's making a joke that is not totally funny but since she's a male back there and it's her best friend she's always holding back but now.... It's different.
"Woah, is that a child?" A person in the passing crowd muttered but Fio heard it.
"Legal or not?" A person questioned his friend as they passed by Fio.
"I think it is, the first year is 18 years old and sometimes there's 17...." The friend answered staring at Fio curiously.
Fio heard the chatter of everyone and decided to ignore it but sometimes she gets embarrassed when they call her cute.
I mean I'm not just cute but super adorable right!?
The reason other students classify her as a first year because she wear a red ribbon, white shirt and pitch black skirt with white seam or a white line near the bottom part.
As for Eugo he wears a white shirt and black pants.
Nothing else besides from that.
"Okay I'm done resting let's go" Eugo uttered as he climb the stairs and Fio followed him.

Walking around the school trying to find their room, Eugo asked the people around who is searching also if they see the room with the tag #01
While letting her friend by himself on searching their room, Fio just follow the guy while thinking.
'Number 1? This is suspicious, of all numbers why is it number 1 damnit'
"Hm...?" Fio glance at another person and quickly stopped Eugo from walking by pulling his shirt.
"Eugo look" She whispered pointing at a girl holding a paper with classroom number 01 on it.
"Nice one Fio" Eugo said as he stopped the girl and asked questions.
After conversing with the girl, Eugo approached Fio as he lead him to their classroom. Apparently that person is their classmate that is running an errand from the teacher.
"What do you think will they teach us Eugo?" Fio asked, curious if there is magic.
"Eh? Maths?" Eugo answered while evading the crowd of people which is too hectic.
"Damn maths"
'Of all subject why math?'
"Why math?" Fio questioned.
"Simple, we are on the modern world, we need mathematics" He answered looking like a sage.
Fio wants to kick him again seeing his face but restrained herself.
"Do you think they will teach ma-"
Before Fio can continue, Eugo abruptly stopped, resulting on Fio bumping her nose on his body.
"Oh we're here"
"Aw~"
Rubbing her nose, Fio went inside the classroom first since she knows that Eugo is too nervous to go inside.
The classroom is big, it looks like a classroom from college since the seats are going up.
Finding an empty seat for two, Fio quickly sat beside a boy who is reading a book silently while covering his mouth and nose with a handkerchief.
'Why does it feel weird?' Fio ask herself curiously. She is already feeling alienated ever since coming out the house and now she feel something is weird.
After sitting on her seat, Eugo sat beside her and only now did she find out the weirdness of the situation!
She is in the middle!
A silent boy in her left and her childhood friend in her right. What a great combination! But sadly I'm a boy!
"Oi, I know what you are thinking right now, stop your delusions" Eugo mumbled resting his hand on her shoulder.
"Eugo somehow that feels uncomfortable" Fio whispered as Eugo removed her hand while smiling wryly.
'I keep forgetting my childhood friend is a girl' He thought looking at his adorable friend.
"Hey are you excited for tomorrow World Dive!??" A yellow-haired boy enthusiastically asked to his seatmate.
"Hehe who in the seven seas wouldn't?" A black-haired man in glasses answered as he pressed his glasses upwards.
Fio heard them and she is wondering if it's a game or it is what the god is talking about. The world invasion to protect another world.
As the man said that, the other people even if they are strangers talk to their seatmates of how excited they are on the World Dive but her seatmate on the left is just reading his book quietly while not removing her handkerchief from his face.
Fio glanced at Eugo as he sighed then asked the others what they are talking about.
"Hey what's the World Dive?" Eugo straightforwardly asked.
The others look at him weirdly as the whole class become silent, apparently the whole class heard him.
"Is this guy serious?" A man said before shrugging as the whole class become noisy again.
"It failed" Eugo said sighing.
Fio nodded then she turned her head to the left.
"Hey"
"Hm?" The person in her left closed his book on his right hand and place it gently on his table as he turned his head to Fio while of course not removing his handkerchief from his mouth.
"Can you tell me about the World Dive?" Fio asked looking at him with puppy eyes and trying to be more adorable.
She asked Eugo earlier morning for help if she can watch and tell her if she's doing wrong in making puppy eyes and looking adorable, so she is somewhat confident on what she is doing right now.
After all she had practice!
The man wore a deadpan face as he nodded and give the book he is reading to Fio.
"Thanks" Fio smiled then she passed the book to Eugo.
'Success'
Eugo started to read it as Fio lay her back to the seat trying to relax, although she can't do it because there are two giants from her left and right....
"This is.... " Eugo eyes widen in surprise as he glanced at Fio.
Fio smiled.
'So there really is magic'
