Chapter 6: Aces.
School was a place for games and outdoor activities...School was also a place for sports.
In the basketball court, two teams of players were competing against eachother. They were differentiated by the two colours- red and blue- separating them into two teams.
Apparently, the blue side were winning them. On the recording board,it was shown that red had 13 points and blue side had 20 points,a wide gap of scores.
They finally finished the games and rested.
" Man! I wish that Ru Yehan was here to view this game" One boy suddenly said and everyone joined in the conversation.
" Yeah..I wonder were he is currently.."
" Probably not in school or he is in school sleeping somewhere!"
" That guy feels too lazy to come for practice today!"
" He's lucky that our coach went out on a date today"

For some people school was the best place to sleep...
somewhere in a room in the school,a lump of cloth was snoring lightly and peacefully.

Also, school was a place for hanging out and...
A terrific place to get into trouble.
Somewhere behind the school premises in an alley where nobody ventured into, a group of people were playing cards with a short boy trembling like a leaf in their midst.
He was obviously a victim of bullying and they had extorted money from him. His body was covered in dirt from the way they had beaten him to the ground.
They had set a bet with him. If he wins the game,they collect his money and let him go with a slap. If he loses,they beat him up till his face swell up. Unfortunately this time,he lost.
" Hah!...Check up!!" The gang leader laughed at the boy and the boy's face paled instantly. Just as the gang leader was about to grab his neck and beat him up,a lazy nonchalant voice was heard.
" Hold up..." and then a lean handsome boy emerged from the shadows. He walked towards them and leaned lazily on the wall ,his gaze rather contempt.
" Who are you?! And what are you doing here pretty boy!" The leader was stunned by this boy's flawless and delicately carved face. He suddenly had the urge to beat him up till that pretty face distorted.
The boy remained oblivious to the question and said slowly" How about this...I set up a bet with you guys to play cards with your leader. If I win... You let this puny little boy go."
The leader snorted at this boy's request. He studied him. This boy had a lean body with absolute good looks and carefree aura and he was slightly taller than an average woman- about 170 meters. He was the type that uncunsiously attracted attention.
" What if you lose?" The leader questioned. The boy smiled slightly and nodded his head" it's up to you to decide"
" If you lose...you take his place and we'll beat you up then" the leader agreed and sat back down to play the cards with him.
The boy looked at the short boy and sat down on the cement block to play cards with them. After about ten minutes, the boy revealed a troubled expression and sighed.
"Check up!!"the gang leader dropped his cards and exclaimed loudly laughing with an arrogant tone."You tiny punk stand no chance against winning me"
"Hold up... I'm not done yet" The boy raised his hand up. He suddenly layed down his remaining cards and all of them were dumbfounded. His cards were all...
Aces?!!! Impossible!!
"That's impossible!! You cheated you punk!!" the leader exploded furiously. He was so sure that the cards in the handsome boy's hands stood no chances of winning at all.
"Oh? Did you see me cheat?...if you think that I cheated,then it seems like you are an expert in cheating people..." The boy lazily drawled.
They thought that he was dumb. He had obviously seen the way they arranged the cards before sharing them. They had deliberately given cards that stood no chances of winning at all. What they didn't know was that he literally had cards up his sleeves to swap with the ones they gave him.
This was the first time the gang leader had lost in this game. He furiously agreed for the short boy to go. Since this handsome boy wanted to get beaten up in his place, they'll gladly do so.
They immediately swarmed around the handsome boy as he stood up to leave." Where do you think you are going punk?!"
The boy looked calmly at them with his hands in his pockets. His eyes were obviously pitying them."*Tsk...so much for a fair game"
"We're going to beat you up till your face swells... you think you can come here and go out as wish?!"
The boy merely smiled,his eyes stunning sapphire eyes shining against the light of the sun." Oh?...I guess I can"
" You...!!!" the leader threw a heavy punch on the boy's face and...
Bang!!!
He flew like a snipped kite, landing about ten meters away from the rest of the members, coughing violently. He was stunned by this display of strength from this puny kid.
The boy retracted his left leg in a skilled arch,his hands in his pockets and the smile never leaving his face. He then brought out his hand and crocked his index finger in form of provocation, telling them to come forward.
The stunned members quickly regained themselves and attacked this time with all their strength and...
Bang!!! Pow!!! Bam!!!
They all fell down to the ground wailing in serious pain. The boy walked up to their leader and stepped on his fingers.
" Argh!!!!... please spare me!! This lowly dog failed to recognise your greatness!!"
The boy raised an eyebrow at him.The once high and arrogant leader was now trembling like a leaf under him.
"You are... from where?" He asked the leader. The wind blew slightly against the handsome boy's face and his mint green hair swayed with the breeze.
" I'm the Qinxu gang leader...I was sent to deal with that boy!! I'm sorry... please let me go!"
Bai Chen removed his foot from the hand and said with a lazily voice." Scram..."
And they all ran away with their tails in-between their legs but not before he extorted all their money.
