Chapter 3: Chapter 3 The Alpha

I looked at her one last time and growled a warning to the doctor before l left my room cave.

I flowed the guard who brought me the message outside to an animal farm which is a bit far from the pack house.

A man in a brown animal skin skirt stood watching over the cows and sheep with his back turned to me. His gray hair swayed with the light breeze, looking at it, I assumed that is Elder Stain.

" Elder Stain." I stood beside him with my hands in my pocket.

" Alpha Danox, I've heard that you came with a strange girl in your arms. Am I correct." He calmly said.

"Yes Elder, I did. " I said with a straight face.

" Hmm." he signed and turned towards me. " Why?"

I remain silent and looked at the grazing animals.

" Alpha Danox, is she....perhaps your mate." The elder said and I could sense the disgust in it.

"Hmm. " I nodded in response. " When I went for a hunt, I felt a sudden pull and found her being chased by rogues." I explained before he even asked.

Elder Stain turned to face me with his arms crossed and eyebrow raised. " Where is she from? "

" I don't know, when I found her she was unconscious and badly injured. Right now she is being treated by the pack doctor. "

"I see, " Elder Stain rub his chin thoughtfully. " When she is fully healed you have to bring her to the counseling. "

" Sure thing. " I said then excused myself.

When I got back to my room cave, the pack doctor had already left telling me through the pack link that she is alright and just need rest.

It felt like a heavy rock was lifted of my shoulders when I heard that she is alright. I found myself sitting beside her staring at her beautiful face, my eyes traveled from her face, to her gorgeous sleek neck, down to her chest that moved up and down as she breath.

My hands moved to the blanket that covered that specific area so that I would pull down to see more of her. But I became disappointed when I saw her still in her strange clothes.

" If she wear's that she will stand out. "

I said to myself.

Speaking of her clothes, I haven't seen such attire in my entire existence. Not even those filthy creatures were them. l felt disgusted when I thought of those 'humans', but lucky for us, the don't exist anymore.

I remembered vividly how they begged for their lives to be spared, a smile curved on my face as the memories of all humans died under us Lycans, all of them, old, young, rich, poor, black, white, sick and healthy.

The only humans that survived were either mates to one of us or either offspring, but by now they would have been dead through old age or some sickness. After all, they're still humans whether mated to a lycan or not.

A soft whimper came out from her when she moved, my attention soon came back to her to check is she is all right.

She seems to be waking up which made me feel tense all of a sudden. Her shut eye lid wrinkled as she moved, all I did is sat there and watched debating on whether to touch her or not.
