Chapter 19: 19: Quick Victories

"Start"

On one side of the stage, we see a boy with a cold, angry face. On the other, we see a boy with a carefree smile, stretching.
"I don't know if I have a shot of winning against you..." said Sero.
He added, "...But I won't lose without a fight!"
After that, he shot out a long line of tape from his elbows and wrapped his opponent. He attempted to drag Todoroki out of bounds.
But Todoroki froze the tape and summoned a glacier the half the size of the whole stadium, freezing Sero.
"EHHHHHHH!!!!" yelled out Present Mic in shock.
"A-a l-l-little much d-don't ya think..?" said Sero, shivering.
"Sero... Can you move?..." asked Midnight.
The boy replied, "O-of course not... It's so cold..."
...
As Todoroki went to thaw out the glacier, he told "I went too far. I'm sorry... I was a bit angry..."
...
"NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE THIRD MATCHUP!!!" shouted Present Mic.
"IT'S CLASS A VERSUS CLASS B! ON THE LEFT SIDE, WE HAVE THE SPARK-KILLING BOY FROM CLASS A, IT'S DENKI KAMINARI!! ON THE RIGHT SIDE, IT'S THE BOY WITH THE WILL OF STEEL, IT'S TETSUTETSU TETSUTETSU!!!"
"Yeah!!! Make us proud!!!" shouted all of Class B.
Everybody from the stands followed suit.
"Are both of you ready?" asked Cementoss.
"Yep!" replied Kaminari.
"Yes, sensei!" answered Tetsutetsu.
"All right, start!"
...
"I'm sorry but this will be a quick victory for me!" said Kaminari.
Tetsutetsu retorted, "No, I will beat you... For my class!"
Kaminari released electricity around his surroundings. But, Tetsutetsu turned into steel and tanked the hit.
"That tingles!" said Tetsutetsu.
"Eh!? Well... What about 1.3 Million Volts!!!" shouted Kaminari as he released stronger electricity.
"IT WASN'T VERY EFFECTIVE!" shouted Present Mic.
Kaminari turned dumber and Tetsutetsu took this chance to attack.
"Steel Fist!" he called out and punched Kaminari. Once it connected, Kaminari was sent back and knocked out.
"TETSUTETSU TETSUTETSU WINS!!!"
"Woooh!!! Nice one, Tetsutetsu-san!!!" cheered out all of Class B.
...
[Back in the stands]
"Well, it's my turn next. It was a good fight. At least Kaminari tried..." stated Akira as he got up to leave.
"Good luck, Takumi-san/Iida-san!" said the students.
...
"EVERYBODY! IT'S AN INTERESTING MATCHUP THIS TIME!!! BOTH FROM CLASS A, IT'S THE FASTEST STUDENT OF THE HEROICS DEPARTMENT, TENYA IIDA!!! NOW NEXT, IT'S THE MOST infuriatingly CRAFTY STUDENT, AKIRA TAKUMI!!!" introduced Present Mic.
"Are both contestants ready?" asked Midnight.
"I'm ready." replied Akira.
"I am too, Midnight-sensei!" responded Iida.
"Okay! Begin!"
...
"I would say, 'Let's have a good fight, Takumi-san', but I'm going to finish this fast." said Iida in an ashamed tone.
"You are very powerful and I don't know if I will be able to defeat you without using this..." he added.
Akira thought, 'Recipro Burst?... Hmm, from what I saw with their confrontation with Midoriya, it took him a few seconds to activate it...'
He replied, "That's okay, Iida-san." As he touched the ground.
'No! I can't let Takumi-san make the first move!' thought Iida as he activated Recipro Burst.
When Akira touched the ground, he thought,
'Liquify!' And the ground turns into liquid.
Iida seems to notice something different with the stage but it was too late as he already activated his move.
He moved faster than what the others' eyes could follow, but he suddenly comes to a full stop when his foot gets stuck on he ground.
"Adhere."
"Eh!?" exclaimed Iida as he tried to move around, but it only got worse.
When his Achilles Heel was fully submerged, Akira snapped his fingers and the ground turned solid.
"It was a good try, Iida-san." said Akira, approaching Iida.
When Akira gets close enough, Iida punches him but Akira blocks it and hold Iida's shoulders.
"Sleep" As Iida's body goes limp, Akira catches him.
"Sensei, I think Iida won't be able to fight anymore..." said Akira.
"Akira Takumi wins!" announced Cementoss.
"AND ANOTHER QUICK VICTORY FOLKS!" shouted Present Mic.
He added, "THE NEXT ROUND WILL START AFTER A QUICK BREAK!"
...
After waking Iida and getting him unstuck, they return to the stands.
...
"It was a good fight, Iida-san." said Kirishima.
"Yeah! It was a good try!" exclaimed Sero.
"Thank you, everyone." said Iida with a helpless smile.
"Iida-san, it really was a good fight. You didn't give up until the end. Even though you were stuck to the floor, you still tried to defend yourself." Akira states.
"Yeah!" agreed everyone
"T-Thank you, everyone!" replied Iida with a smile.
"Ashido-san, you should get ready..." reminded Momo.
"Right! Wish me luck guys!" she exclaimed, running to the waiting room.
...
[On Class B Stands]
"BEAT THAT CLASS-A SCUM, SHIOZAKI-CHAN!!!" shouted a boy doing Dio's "Wryyyy" Pose.
A girl with orange hair sighs but she smiles and says to a vine-haired girl, "Good luck, Ibara-san."
"Yeah! Good luck, Ibara/Shiozaki-san!!!" shouted all of Class B.
"Thank you and May the Lord bless everyone." Ibara said.
"Now I must go and do the Lord's will of making everyone happy."
...
"WELCOME BACK EVERYONE, NOW LET'S GET ON TO THE NEXT ROUND!!"
"FROM THE HERO COURSE, CLASS B'S ASSASIN, BEAUTIFUL THINGS COME WITH THORNS, IT'S IBARA SHIOZAKI!!! VERSUS, Does something come out of those horns!?? IT'S MINA ASHIDO!!"
"WILL IT BE ANOTHER QUICK VIC-" Present Mic added but was cut off by one of he contestants.
"Excuse me?... If I may interrupt, but why am I an assassin? I came here to expect victory, not to take another's life. That simply goes against the Lord's teachings!" Ibara stated.
"U-uh, well..."
"Idiot..." muttered Aizawa beside Present Mic.
"The reason I attended U.A. is not for evil intentions, but to follow the Lord and bring relief to the people." she added, while her hands were in the praying position.
"Y-YEAH I GET IT! IT WAS MY BAD!"
Ibara smiles and replies, "I'm glad you understand" and bows.
"A-ANYWAY, LET'S START THIS MATCH!!!"
"Are both of you girls ready?" asked Midnight.
"Yeah!" replied Mina.
"Yes, Midnight-sensei." replid Ibara.
"All righty! Start!"
