Synopsis
Sharon was an ordinary person, while her husband, Wallace Harris, was a promising and handsome man. His family was one of the most prestigious and wealthiest families in New York City. Being able to marry Wallace was an accident.
Throughout their three years of marriage, Wallace had never slept with Sharon. His family also kept persuading him to divorce Sharon.
It was the birthday party of the Harris family's old matriarch, and all youngsters of the Harris family had given the most expensive gifts possible to make the old lady happy—everyone but Sharon. She asked to borrow money from Madam Harris for the old housekeeper, Uncle Smith, as he had no money to pay for his medical treatment. But as expected, the Harris family humiliated her when she requested.
"The Harris family has never had a poor relative like you. Don't you ever appear in front of me again! Wallace should've married Crystal. She's certainly a young lady who's worthy of marrying into our family!" said Madam Harris.
"Please know your place and get out of here. Don't stay at our house anymore. How can Wallace's grandfather be so foolish to marry a poor, useless woman like you to my son?!" said June, Wallace's mother.
"It's just a few million dollars, yet you're so poor that you need to borrow from our family. How can a woman like you deserve to be with Wallace? If it were Crystal, she definitely wouldn't have embarrassed us so much!"
That night, Wallace handed Sharon a bank card, which contained millions of dollars. "The company is developing, so I don't have much cash. You can use this to help Uncle Smith."
Facing the Harris family's hostility, Wallace stated, "Since I have married her, she is my responsibility. Regardless of her being rich or poor, Sharon is my wife."

So this review is based on the first 70 chapters. The stor basically revolves around how FL goes to ask money or buy stuff from different stores - antiques, wedding dress, car or even a restaurant only to get ridiculed and then she calls for the back up from her grandpa’s butler to put people in the place. All in all, not a strong FL. More like a stupid chick. Someone in the story rightly calls her a rich wife with no talents!
This book no offence to the author but it's so boring the Fl is the most stupid woman I've ever heard or read of she is just misused by the family she has the power and money with no talents and brains the book is literally about showing off who has more power or who has more money kindly recommend me another book thank you...!
Fl is too stupid.. whole family is abusing her but she does not do anything. They keep harming her physically, husband just look and do nothing to defend her, other woman sleeping on her husband room even borrowing clothes from her, and still she helps them behind their back while they insult her of being trash. Im in 49 and i want to kill the FL so bad . Im stopping now. Bye
this story is so bad no offense author but they way you are portraying the female lead is so so so not good ,,,the female lead is stupid and so is the male lead ,you are rich but still being taken advantage by the family ,,,,,this story is the same as for my ex is regretting after divorce ,......the female is so stupid and even the male lead keep apologizing for the wrongs he didn't do..... Author kindly make the leads of the novel to have strong characters .that is what makes the novel enjoyable .Not apologizing after every turn..

the story is very beautiful . I loved all the characters specially the female lead but I guess there should more romance in the novel and can you update it faster I can't wait to read it
It seems like this was the same story as charlie wade, or an amazing son-in-law. It's just that this time in this story, the lead role was female. dunno who plagiarized, this author or that of charlie wade, or both were made by thw same person.
