"So... What are we going to do, chief?" I asked because I was quite puzzled when the chief suddenly told me to go with him somewhere.
"It's been two years since you official joined the main research team and we made big results." The chief said quite sentimentally.
"So...?" I asked, urging him to continue.
"His highness, the king took notice of our project and was happy with the results we provided." He said while walking with a bit more energy and giddiness.
"And?" I asked in a clueless manner.
"Can't you see?! His majesty took notice of us! He is happy with our good results!" The chief said loudly and excitedly.
"O~kay... So, what happens after?" I asked with a straight face and a slight smile.
"Sigh... His majesty gave us support by providing more resources and..." The chief said, being a bit dramatic at the end.
"Don't put suspense here chief! You should tell me already, alright?" I said while rolling my eyes in exasperation.
"Can't you enjoy life lad? A little bit of suspense is good to add some colors in our bland research life!" He said in an advicing tone.
"..." I won't say anything about enjoying life, I might slip up and say that I've been banging my secretary since I got her.
I am even being quite carefull to not knock her up.

"Anyway, Besides the added resources, His majesty granted us with a test pilot!" The chief said excitedly.
"Why are you being excited about it chief? It's just a test pilot though." I said doubtfully.
"It's not just a test pilot! THIS! IS! THE! TEST! PILOT! The test pilot is a member of the knights of round! Don't you see?! This is an honor!
The Knight of six has been specially tasked by his majesty to test pilot for us!" The chief said in a loud and exaggerated manner, excitedly.
"So... What does it matter for what we are going to do now chief? Where are we going anyway?" I asked, still quite puzzled on what this is about.
"We already have a relatively good proto type, so we start more complicated test piloting.
I am going to get you introduced to our honorable test pilot, THE KNIGHT OF SIX!" He said while looking at my face and expecting to see some excitement.
But I am going to have to disappoint you chief! This isn't enough to excite me at all!
You need a beautiful and hot lady for that!
"Alright, you're boring! You wouldn't get any girl with that kind of attitude boy! You should have be more hot blooded!
You're still young! Don't act like you are older than me, you understand?" The chief said acting like a respectable elderly.

"The Duke is there." He said with a straight face.
"Why?" I asked again.

He is so exasperating!
"You don't need to ask more! We're here! Now, Let me introduce to you! The knight of six!
Lady Marianne!" He said with an expectant face, waiting for my surprised expression, while openiong the door to his office.
And this time he didn't get disappointed!
"What?!" I exclaimed.
That was quite a sudden shock and surprise!
I am not surprised about meeting a knight of round!
I am surprised about meeting Lady Marianne!
If you don't know who she is then I'm gonna tell you.
She is the mother of Lelouch and Nanally!
And I am meeting her right now face to face!
This time, the chief really got the thing to excite me!
A beautiful and hot chick!

"Hey Aston?! You alright?! You suddenly got into a daze. Don't tell me, you've fallen for Lady Marianne?" the chief asked with moving eyebrows while shaking me a bit by the shoulder.
The Duke and Lady Marianne is also looking at me with a somewhat amused face.
"What? No. I was just quite surprise to see the beauty of Lady Marianne." I replied to the chief then faced Lady Marianne and said "It is nice and pleasant to meet you Lady Marianne."
"It is nice to finally meet you too Mister Aston. I heard quite a lot about you from the Duke." She said to me with a friendly smile.
"Really? I hope it was all good things. I don't want to leave a bad impression to a beautiful woman such as you my Lady." I said with an elegant smile, showing my years of experience in flirting with girls.
"Hey, Don't worry lad, I provided support for you!" Duke Ashford said jokingly.
"No, as the Duke said, it was all good, and I think, meeting the person myself is better." she said with an amused smile.
"Alright, Let me formally Introduce you both as you will be temporary colleagues for some time, from now on." The Duke said with a bit playfulness.
"That's right!" The chief added with energy.
To which Lady Marianne and I only smiled at the Duke and Chief's antics.
I gazed at Lady Marianne and saw that she is quite amused by their antics and is having some fun going along.
"Alright! Alister Aston, meet lady Marianne. Member of the Knights of round. The knight of six!" The duke said loudly and in an exaggerated way.
"And now, Lady Marianne. Meet Alister Aston, vice chief researcher of Ashford foundation research institute and a young genius praised by everyone here!" the Duke said in a more exaggerated way than before.
The Duke seems to be really happy today. Did the king's praise really made him happy?
