They both started to fall in the direction where their knightmare frame's leg was cut off.
'This is it!' They both thought as they saw another opportunity to chop the other leg of each other.
And that is what they did!

They were both shocked that the other had thought of the same thing again and again!
As they neared the ground, before their final one leg was cut off.
They arrange their falling position to sideways where their sword hand will be free to move and so, that's what happened.
They did not let up and continued to push their knightmare frame to the limit as they, again, slashed at each other even when they are down and almost limbless!
Until they two knightmare frame's final one arm crumbled too under the both of their abuse.
And the loud noise of some kind was heard signaling the end of the match!

- in the audience seat -
"Woohoo! yeah!" All the students shouted in excitement.
"Charles!" some students cheered.
"Reynald!" some other students cheered too.
"What an awesome battle that is! It seems that this two guys are quite good!" Marianne said excitedly almost forgetting that she is currently under disguise as my bodyguard.
"That's right! I think, I have some inspiration right now." AA said with a thoughtful look on his face.
"Thank you for your praises! I really did not think that these two will be able to do something like this!

This kind of excellence is worthily elite!
Should I give them a better opportunity to train or I don't know, I don't have anything to offer for this kind of performance right now." The principal said with excitement and a bit of dropping hints to the two of us.
AA just raised his brows at that while Marianne had a thoughtful look all of a sudden.
Then She took hold of my sleeve and started pulling it and making some gestures secretly.
"Give them something!" She whispered to me.
"Sigh, fine. I can supply more simulators and also give one mechanic, who can repair the knightmare frames if there are parts available, to the school.
There will be two new modes that will be available together with the new simulators.
It will be a group battle and a battle royal.
I think this kind of different fights will make the students have more experience and practice right?
Don't worry about updating the simulators here, just connect them together and they will automatically update themselves." I said a bit loudly which made it so the principal also heard it together with some teachers and instructors seating close to us.
"Thank you, sir Aston! The students will really be glad of your help.
I will make sure they know that it is you who gave this things." The principal said very politically.
"Nay, don't bother. I don't really need or want this kind of exposures.
Beside, this will also be a part of data collection.
All the data of the people who are using the simulators and the knightmare frames will be saved and collected.
My department have a use for this things.
You only need to make sure that the simulat is used everyday so that it can collect more data." AA said to the principal.
"Yes, sir! I will follow your instructions. You can leave it to me!" The principal said solemnly.

Now, let me meet those two personally!" AA said with a big smile and a hint off excitement in his tone.
"Okay sir!" The principal replied before facing one of the instructors near him. "Go take those two students here. Sir Aston wants to meet them."
"Yes, principal!" One of them answered quickly and hurriedly stood up to do it.
'What an astute fellow. I should give him more opportunities later.' the principal thought to himself as he saw that happen.
'What a boot licker! I can't match that kind of automatic yes man attitude!' the other instructors and teachers thought to themselves.
'Man, this elitist society really... Tsk tsk... Sigh...
Thankfully, favors are not enough to go up the ladder cause if so, then this whole empire might become rotten in just a year or two.' AA though to himself.
Marianne just looked at that guy expressionlessly but a hint of disdain can be seen deep in her eyes.
It seems that she really does not like this kind of people who relies on favors the most.
After all, everything she got right now, she had gotten them all through her own abilities.
Even the Empress position itself.
Charles's favor is not enough to get this position at all!
She had to have some qualification first before becoming a candidate for it.
Being a knight of round is her qualification before while getting Charles's trust is the one that won her this position.
And getting the trust of a cynical and pessimistic guy is really hard.
