Chapter 6: the start of the level grinding
Leonard kept using all of his persuasive skills to grind all night long with his family, forcing them to stay with him without sleeping. At the start of the next morning, his [manipulation] and [lying] skills upgraded to level 2 and his [silver tongue] and [acting] to level 3. Leonard checked his status:

"Very good, I'm getting stronger," Leonard thought happily as he went to school. Due to his father's "generosity," he gave Leonard an extravagant looking new carriage, which Leonard accepted.
As Leonard went to class, all of his classmates looked at him, most with hatred. Leonard ignored them and went to his seat. He smiled as he saw his teacher, Hanna Jones, enter the room. Or, rather, her supposed true name that Leonard had read in the books, Elena von Heidelberg, the only princess of the kingdom. Leonard wondered why she was teaching at their school under a false identity, but he quickly put it aside, as it didn't matter to him.
Leonard listened intently as Elena explained the theory of how to cast spells, and as a result, he gained 1 intelligence and wisdom point. This made Elena take notice of him and she had a dangerous glint in her eyes. "Is he some kind of monster? How is his mana reserve rising so fast? I should make him an ally. Maybe he can help me get the throne for myself," she thought.
At the end of the lesson, Elena summoned Leonard as soon as everyone else had left. The other students gave Leonard hateful looks, but he went before her with a genuine smile. "Miss Hanna," Leonard said. "Call me Elena," she replied. "Miss Elena, I wanted to thank you for doing kindness to me, something that no one else has ever done. Due to that, I would like to help you with your problems. Of course, I'm still weak now, but one day I will get strong enough to help you with all your problems," Leonard said shyly, as he had never said these words genuinely before.
Elena looked at him, surprised, and smiled warmly. "Then this is a deal," she said as she put her hand on Leonard's shoulder. "Go now, you have a weapon fighting lesson.
Elena said, making Leonard nod and head to the training field with renewed determination to get stronger. In the training field, Leonard was training with his sword, as the trainer watched, analyzing him. "He's gone faster and more precise with his movements since last night," the trainer thought, as he kept watching. At the end of the lesson, Leonard checked his skills and saw that his proficiency with the sword was at 79%. He was also confident that soon it would rise to level 4. Leonard smiled, as the training had given him a boost in endurance, strength, and dexterity.
After a class where Leonard received some marks taken off for breathing loudly in the eloquence class, he attended all his other classes and by the end of the school day, his [math] and [leadership] had risen to level 2. Leonard checked his status:

Leonard smiled as he rode the carriage and told the young knight assigned to him by his father to take him to the monster wild. The young knight looked at Leonard wide-eyed, but remained silent and continued on to the monster area. After 30 minutes, Leonard arrived and told the knight to stay behind. He then unsheathed the sword he had "borrowed" from his elder half-brother and set out to find some monsters.
Five minutes later, Leonard heard the sounds of fighting and approached stealthily. He saw two kobolds battling four goblins and watched them coldly. He readied his sword and launched himself at the kobolds with full speed, swiftly killing one. The fighting stopped as all the creatures turned to look at him. Leonard quickly killed the next kobold and plunged a knife into the eye of one of the goblins, causing it to fall to the ground. He then cut off the arms and legs of another goblin and plunged a knife into its throat. The last kobold tried to flee, but Leonard appeared above it and cut it in half.
Blood covered Leonard as he checked his notifications:

"That was intense," thought Leonard as he closed his eyes, feeling himself grow stronger. "I'm going to slaughter these monsters in the name of EXP," he laughed as he searched for new monsters.
John watched Leonard as he received a notification.
"Due to the individual the host possessed leveling up two times, the host will get two EXP points."
