Chapter 229: Bow and Arrow

Inside a busy tavern, the sound of lute and laughter fills the place as adventurers and mercenaries gather to eat and drink and be merry.

Man, woman, young and old. Everyone who was in the profession was gathered in this small tavern.

One could say that it's a loud and rowdy environment.

But to the eyes of two knights that are sitting by the table at the edge of the room, they could tell that this was by far the safest place in the Military Capital of Bovalia.

"He's late."

"Still as stiff as ever huh, aren't you?"

While tapping his finger on the table, the impatient man in blue silver armour and glasses was looking at the crowd.

On the other hand, the large man in tight green clothing simply drank the rum in the wooden mug while letting out a chuckle.

"Is there something you find amusing in these dire hours?"

"Yes, you."

While saying so, he pushes the mug of rum close to him with a smile.
