Chapter 263: Fire In The Nieverdell Palace

King Hugo's shield was covered with diamonds. Ronan's claws, which were capable of tearing humans, iron, and wood, were only able to lightly scratch the shield.

King Hugo swung his sword at Ronan's head, but Ronan parried with his claws and then pinned King Hugo to the floor. Ronan put his big furry hand on King Hugo's face just as he did to Sasha. Yet King Hugo was still able to resist.

He lifted the giant wolf's body and threw him aside. The man stood up quickly to block Ronan's attack with his shield.

"Huh? Is this the extent of the power of a king who had defeated a dragon?" King Hugo asked disdainfully. Blood started to come out of his mouth, and sweat dripped down his face.

Ronan jumped high and dropped his body on top of King Hugo's body while clawing at the hand holding the shield until it was severed. King Hugo fell to the floor. His eyes began to blur.
