Chapter 1: Liar
Earth, what a wonderful place to live. wasn't it? There is animal life, humans that roamed around this planet for centuries. But that changed when there was a reset of the entire Earth. We now live on Earth X where there is a split of the earth. One with crime is not allowed while the other is full of chaos. Killing is for survival. If you fail, you die. Now you are probably wondering who I am? Well, my name is Emery, and I live in Mekolan. The place which is what this story is all about.
Rachel was walking down the street. Wearing a Neko handbag which is one of the most expensive stores that no one can get. Wearing pink boots that go up to her knee caps and wearing sunglasses. But she isn't a typical university bad girl. More like a nerd that surprisingly has a good fashion sense. She is the star of the show. The so-called "queen bee" of the school. She was one of the richest in the school due to her father being the owner of one of the biggest companies in the world! She loved being the queen bee but she isn't that Regina George type of girl. She is actually a really sweet, generous and loyal girl. She would do anything to help her friends and loves to study. You can say she is a nerd but everyone loves her because of it.
She was looking at her phone scrolling through social media. Universities in Time Sqaure has many lockers. She was walking to her locker, getting her necessary items for school when her best friend walked behind her. Rachel locked her locker and they started to gossip. "Hahaha! Omg I can't believe Sabrina did that!" Morgan said. Drinking her expensive coffee in the coffee cafe in the university which she is in talking to Rachel.
"Yah i know right?" Rachel replied. While they were chatting they went to a cafe. Some people were admiring Rachel's beauty as she waves at them with a warm smile on her face. She loves talking and chatting with people. She doesn't really love being the queen bee that much but she loves her life with her boyfriend. They sat down at a two seats and drank some coffee.
"Okay hear me out. If you square root 4 you can get.." Rachel said. Getting cut off by Morgan.
"THE THEORY OF REALITY!" Rachel and Morgan said at the same time. Laughing ahead in the cafe. Everyone looked at them with a disgusted look.
"You know.." Morgan said. Smiling and winking at Rachel, "What" Rachel replied back.
"Your boyfriend, hot Javier over there, is winking at you." Morgan said. Nudging at Rachel. Rachel turned back. And saw Javier smiling and waving back trying to get Rachel's attention. Wanting her to get close to him.
"You have got to be kidding me." Rachel said.
"Oh come on! Ever since you guys started dating, you guys were the highlight of the entire school! Everyone knows the famous couple! Rachel and Javier.'" Morgan said. Rachel nudged back, shutting her off. Rachel stands up and walk towards Javier. Javier and Rachel have known each other since they were kids. They were childhood best friends turned into a couple. Javier was very popular in the school. You can say he is kinda... Spoiled.
"What do you want Jav," Rachel said, tilting her head to her left with a cheeky smile. Morgan sips her coffee as she watches them have their conversation. She thought it was a nice movie to watch.
"Oh come on. You know I want to see you sweetheart!" Javier replied Hugging Rachel tightly.
Jav. you gotta stop calling me that you know how cringy that is." Rachel replied.
"Oh come on, what's so wrong with me calling you that?" Javier insisted, playing Rachel's hair. Rachel pushed Javier's hand away from her hair and said, "You know how much I hate that word Jav. Please stop calling me that and call me by my name?" Rachel told Javier.
"All right, I'll stop. So.. After school you wanna hang out?" Javier said,
"I have to study and do the projects." Rachel replied.
"Oh come on, it won't be long. I promised." Javier begged Rachel.
"I'm sure it won't be that long. And anyways, you need a break. You have been studying for hours and hours with no break! You need this Rachel." Morgan tries to convince Rachel into hanging out with Javier. Rachel had a few seconds to think about it, and come to a conclusion.
"All right." Rachel replied to Javier's request. Maybe it's a good time to let the exam stress and maybe take a short break with her boyfriend. I mean, what's the worst thing that can happen?
"GREAT! So 6pm? I'll come to your house." Javier said.
"All right and don't be late!" Rachel firmly said to Javier. He nodded and gave Rachel a head kiss. He walked away with his friends afterwards.
"Don't worry Rachel, it would be fun! This will help you!" Morgan excitedly said.
A few hours later, Rachel was at her dorm, studying for the upcoming tests and doing some projects while waiting for Javier. She looks at the clock, it's 5:20.
"I should get ready" She gets off of the chair and finds a beautiful dress to wear. She decides to wear a grey sweater with shorts. She lets her hair down and starts to put on basic makeup. She looks at the time and it's 6:05.
"That's weird, Javier was supposed to be here by now." She opens her phone and starts texting him. She didn't get any reply and decided to wait. She looks at the clock and it's 6:30, and she's getting annoyed. She decides to call Javier and he doesn't answer.
"BANG!" She heard the door open. It's like the door was kicked, and someone ran towards Rachel.
"RACHEL!! DID YOU LOOK AT FACETWEET??" She shouted at the phone. Rachel jumped a bit and covered her ears. "You are soo loud you know that?" Rachel replied.
"Oh sorry, okay did you look at Facetweet?" Morgan said again in a calm yet firm tone. Rachel starts to panic. She didn't get any notification on Facetweet and she is wondering how. She follows almost everyone in the University, so she's a little creep out.
"No, I haven't, why what's wrong?" Rachel replied to Morgan. Morgan cleared her throat and she said, "you really don't wanna know, but you have to because it involves Javier." Rachel then starts to lose her mind. She gets up from the chair, walks towards Morgan, puts her hands on her arms and shakes her a bit. She replied, " What. Happened"
"Okay okay! Lemme show you the tweet." Rachel immediately looks at the tweet and her eyes widen in shock. She saw Javier kissing another girl that is not from the same school.
