Chapter 3: the land of Mekolan
"What is this place?" Rachel said walking around the new place she was transported in. The ground was filled with plastic utensils, forks, old rags and corpses filled with flies and worms. This place is a mess and she's wondering how are these people living in this place. She looked around the paramases and she realised that the people are poor. They wear torn and baggy clothes. They do not have a proper house to live in.
She looked at the ground and it was cracked with many holes, big and small. Some are filled with old pieces of gum that have never been scraped off for days, or months. "This place is a mess" She said to herself.
She got up and started walking around. People were looking at her being properly cleaned, and having such a wonderful set of clothes. Some gave sturned and cold faces at her and she is being creeped out. She turned back and she realised the portal is gone she cannot leave.
"These people don't have proper clothing" She said to herself. She went to a family that is living under a building and they used old blankets as shelter. "Do you want money?" She said. The mother held her kids tightly and rejected the money.
Rachel took back her money and put it back inside her pocket and walked away from them. "What is this place?" She said. She realised that there are a lot of poor families living in the streets. And the government isn't doing anything to help them at all.
While walking around, seeing tons of homeless families and hearing a ruckus that is getting louder. She peeked to see what was going on and her eyes widened.
"Give us your money right now or your daughter is getting it!!" A set of guys shouted at the mom. Her mother looked as if she didn't have any money. She took out a penny and she passed it to the men that were holding her daughter hostage.
"85 cents?!?! THAT IS NOT ENOUGH! JAYDEN DO IT NOW!" The head of the gang shouted. Jayden took out the girls pants and her shirt. The girl was screaming and crying. She was about to get raped.
"NO!!!" the mother said and tried to save her daughter. She was punched by them and they kicked her. The girl was about to get raped while one of the men looked at a distance and saw Rachel. The guy looked closely and he saw that the clothes she wore looked very expensive. The guy's eyes glowed with satisfaction.
"GUYS! LOOK SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS A LOT OF MONEY!" He pointed at Rachel. Rachel began to run. All of them followed chasing Rachel from behind. The girl went down to her knees beside her beaten up mother and cried out of relief.
Rachel heard from a distance the men screaming at her telling her to stop. She was about to get robbed and even raped. She ran every corner she sees and every time she cut through the corridors, it was filled with homeless people. This place is not only filled with terror and suffering, it was governed by a terrible government. She looked behind to see the guys chasing her. While she was checking she bumped into a woman. "IM SOO SORRY ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" She said to the woman. "HEY!" She looked behind and she saw the guys catching up to her. She began running again. She went to a corridor that's filled with homeless families and she reached a dead end.
"Well well. There's nowhere you can run. Do it." the leader said. Jayden and some other guys went towards her.
"NO! PLEASE !" She screamed at the top of her lungs. They soon began to undress her and suddenly they stopped. She opened her eyes and she heard screams of the men they were tackling her. Her eyes began to widen.
The guys whom she was being chased. Were dead. And realised the person who killed them was….. A…. girl….
