Chapter 8: Too late, the girl yelled already...

"Kencana, don't be angry. Probably my father just dislikes you a bit because you broke the academy's rule before." Bhahran patiently coaxed the pouting girl beside him, feeling a bit helpless at their current state of affairs.

This had happened so many times that he, too, was at a loss as to know what to do. Rather than being disliked, his father seems to despise her more. But he understood his father truly, that with his personality, he won't ever put someone like Kencana into his eyes.

… As for Arawinda, tsk, don't ever mention her. She might be an alien with something mysterious on her which attracted his father's attention. He was even tongue-tied by his father's choice to let her be his girlfriend back in the past, though indeed he once had feelings for her.

So, based on this, it was not like he could change his father's stubborn view for the sake of a girl, or force him to accept her. Despite detesting her, he felt glad and thankful that his father closed one eye to their relationship, not at all planning to meddle with them.

Nonetheless, the issue was actually Kencana herself, as she was incapable to accept the fact his father won't acknowledge their relationship. Her act of attempting to please his father ended up offending him instead, leaving the relationship between father and son cracked. And now, she blamed him for not exerting his best, on top of that she also criticized his father for being too heartless…

Kencana noticed his indulgent look, it made her anger down a bit. Yet thinking the unmoved and stony-hearted old man, her anger rose again, "That's what you said but you see it yourself, he clearly doesn't like me to the bone!"

The old man even compared her with Arawinda right in front of her! He didn't even give her some faces and only humiliated her when Bhahran was present! The look in his eyes showed disgust as if seeing a dirty thing, the similar one to the looks of Arawinda's eyes every time she saw her! Whenever she was aware of the meaning in their eyes, her resentment always got higher than it almost break through the sky!

Seeing her eyes go red, Bhahran felt distressed. He understood that he was an incapable boyfriend since all he could do was simply comfort her, letting her endure the suffers being embarrassed by his father.

"Kencana, I'm sorry--"

Kencana who was already in bad mood became even more irritable and nauseated by his constant apology, thus she slapped away his hand on her arm, "All you can do is say sorry-sorry-sorry! Can you do something else?!"

The sound of the slap was too loud, leaving the other students staring at them with a frown in protest, including the librarian. Well, after all, they were inside the library.

"Miss Kencana, Sir Bhahran. Please, pay more attention to your behavior."

Bhahran observed their surrounding, finding they had bothered them. Thus, he apologized politely to them and the librarian before pulling Kencana out of the library to continue their matter.

"Alright, Kencana. It's the truth that all I can do is apologize. If not, then what do you want me to do? Cutting my relationship with my father? That's impossible!" Bhahran began to feel exhausted being blamed endlessly, he subconsciously raised his tone at her.

"What? You can't put up with me anymore?" Kencana folded her arms and suggest to him sharply, "Since you ask me what to do. Then I'll tell you. Your father seems really like you being together with Arawinda and now that I remember it, you're still in a relationship with her. Why don't you go and break up with her? Maybe this way, your father will realize how serious you are feeling for me and decide to an end with his acts."

Being reminded, Bhahran finally remember that his girlfriend was still that arrogant girl. This week he had been busy helping Kencana with her punishment, not having time to put her into his mind at all. Still, ascertaining how his father kept on telling him to let Arawinda be his girlfriend, if he really break up with her then the crack between them would become obvious. But if he didn't do it…

Bhahran observed her angry face yet her eyes filled expectant, he sighed in surrender, "Fine, I'll find time to break up with her. I won't guarantee my father will accept you this way…"

Listening to this, Kencana's anger went away instantly, "It's all right. If he still hasn't yet accepted me then we can search another way~"

Kencana smiled lovingly and hugged his arm coquettishly, making Bhahran sigh a relief that he won't need to coax her anymore. Just as they were about to lovey-dovey on the spot…

"Ah! Isn't this the scumbag and the third wheel porcelain girl we're just talking about?!"

… a high-pitched voice sounded behind them with a trace of ridicule, directly washing away the heated atmosphere and the shy mood…

.....

"My stomach is bloating... Umph! Ugh..."

Sun leaned back limply in his chair while patting his satisfied full belly. Moreover, he burped so loudly, making Gendis feel disgusted that she threw a ball of tissue at his face.

"Don't you have some manners?! There are girls here!"

"Eww..." Even Arawinda leaned back on her chair, distancing herself at him with an unusual face.

.He was too lazy to move this he let it land on his face, yet he still had the energy to answer her question, "Geez! In your eyes, two girls, I'm just an unsightly rude guy with a swanky mouth and shameful behavior! Why should I continue keeping my image? That's too tiring, alright? I'm not Adam at all, who can keep his cool image every time, or Arthur who's gentle one since he was born, not uttering a cry at all!"

Adam twitched his forehead, feeling annoyed at him as usual, "You can protest but please don't drag me into this matter. I'm not willing."

"... I'm not a gentle one, bro. Have you forgotten how I love to slap you? Do you want me to remind you, bro?"

Watching Arthur's hand raised at him with wide eyes, Sun directly rolled onto the floor from his seat in vigilant, like a car being stepped on its tail, "Hiss! Fine-fine! Put away your poisonous hand! It'll burn my skin once it touched me!"

Arawinda shook her head amusingly at their show, feeling it was entertaining. To tell the truth, it had been too long since the last time she relaxed with other people than by herself. Back in her high school time, she was too occupied by her part-time jobs, gathering money to pay for schooling. The same goes for the time she went into college. Soon after she went to work, huh, she worked all day long for the full year, what time could she relax around like this??

Maybe in this life, once in a while, she would do that. That's right, just once in a while, for her life wasn't as peaceful as it seems on the surface...

"Don't you guys need to attend your class? The first lesson almost went."

Gendis brushed her curly hair and answered casually, "Actually, today is the first time I skip a lesson and I find it... interesting! So I plan to skip all lessons today ~"

"Skipping class is addicting, you know? The more you skip class, the more you want to laze around. Then you'll be left behind by the lesson." Arthur reminded her sincerely, all in all, he didn't wish to let a friend go astray right under his eyes.

"Thanks for your advice but I'll be firm with my decision for today!" Gendis squeezed both her fist with determination.

Sun, who had already limped back on the seat, asked weakly, "What is your plan for today then??"

Noticing her thoughtful face, Adam helped her a bit, "If you ask us, we usually do sparring."

Gendis listened to his suggestion and frowned a bit. Skipping class should do something fun, right? Why the hell seriously sparring in free time? She then glanced at the girl beside her with inquiry eyes.

"Me??" Arawinda dug her memories and finally found Danastri's daily life, "... Playing with my brother, watching Danaskhara Team train, sleeping, and the newest one..." Holding the villain's core in a daze...

Suddenly thought of this, she soon realized that she never check on the villain's core? But how? Danastri's memories about it were rather blurry, she should seek it out herself in the library.

Arawinda felt the gazes fall on her, waiting for her next word. In the end, she made up something more natural, "... Idling in the library."

"Ah!" Gendis clapped her hands as the sudden idea came, "I rarely visit the library, I want to go there now to read novels!"

Abruptly, Sun jumped out of his seat in spirit then rubbed both his hands vigorously, "Oh~ then let's go together. We plan to go to use the princess's golden key today~"

"Then, why don't we go there too?" Gendis turned her head to asked the girl beside her again with sparkling eyes.

Arawinda thought a moment before nodded agreeing.

As their golden keys are active ones, of course, they would automatically go to Active Library. In the past few days, she had immersed herself into the basic knowledge of this world, thus she hadn't known yet the knowledge about core, ability, and the likes. She was a bit looking forward to it.

The two girls, followed by the trio behind, walked along the corridor leading to the library. At this moment, the corridor was empty, only one or two students would sometimes pass by them.

"So, you mean you're already together with him for simply four months?" Gendis touched her chin thoughtfully.

"Yes... Why are you so curious?"

Arawinda was a bit baffled at her sudden interest in Danastri and Bhahran. Did she like him or what? But from her objection attitude previously, there was no way she would like him.

Unknown to her that Gendis was struggling to recall that scumbag's reaction after the new girl entered the school. If she was not mistaken, that scumbag didn't seem to care as he had already a girlfriend but now... it seems that the aggressive one was the new girl instead? Then soon facing such an aggressive yet charming girl, they scumbag began to contaminate by her willingly...

She then clicked her tongue in disbelief, "You know that I'm in class with the two? The third wheel is as weak as porcelain and keeps on complaining how hard the trainer is, it almost makes me step on her in irritation. While the scumbag is love acting like saving the damsel in distress with her. Hiss, watching them leaving me a nauseating feeling!"

Listening to her story, Sun suddenly added, as if he was saying it from the deepest of his heart, "Not only that, when he's hanging out with us, he always remembers her! What's worse, every time he makes a decision, he always thinks of that porcelain girl first! Imagine your leader is like that, isn't he asking for a beating?!"

"... He became irresponsible after meeting her," Arthur said quietly and his tone was a bit sad.

Arawinda narrowed her eyes at this statement. All she could guess was since they were a pair of male and female protagonists, they should become real pairs no matter what way, as might be it was the author's intention in the first place.

"He is not qualified to be a leader, anymore." Adam also added.

Gendis sighed helplessly at their deep talk, "I pity you, boys. You said the four of you have always been together since diaper. Now that he's led astray by a girl easily, you guys must be very sad, huh."

Arawinda turned around to observe the silent boys, then answered for them, "It's not sad anymore. They are too disappointed that it tires them to think about it more."

"Oh, princess. You can actually describe my current feelings smoothly! As expected of the disrespectful princess of the school!" Sun smirked as he raised his thumb and wriggled it around.

... Arawinda didn't know how to respond, After all, this sentence was written in the story...

Gendis shook her head feeling sympathy, "Oh-oh, boys-- hm????"

Speak of the devil, the devil comes.

The others including her noticed a pair of couples with familiar faces, standing close together outside Active Library, an idea flashed in her mind...

She nudged Arawinda and smiled evilly to her, whispering mischievously, "Let's make a commotion!"

Arawinda was stunned silly by her idea then remembered that they were near the sacred library, "Huh? Wait, no--"

Too late, the girl yelled already...

"Ah! Isn't this the scumbag and the third wheel porcelain girl we're just talking about?!"
