Chapter 5: . Quirk awakening
"Are you okay boy?" Kenji asked in a warm tone, since he took up this case he kept being worried about Reno, seeing him in such a miserable condition he was sure he had suffered a lot but at the same time he was glad that they were able to save him and end his suffering.
"I'm fine, Hawks-san told me to stay here and watch over the villain until help come, I'm really glad you came, I was so scared," Reno replied with teary eyes, he must keep the facade of a frightened little boy.
"Despite your fear, you kept your cool and waited for help, not only that but you also kept a look at this villain, that's so brave of you," Kenji said with a proud look which made Reno smile innocently, then he collapsed and fell into a deep sleep .
"Check him quickly" Kenji commanded, and a paramedic came to Reno's place and checked him.
"There are no signs of internal injuries or bleeding but he is burnt, has signs of malnutrition and also appears to be dehydrated, he is very exhausted ,we must take him to the hospital quickly" answered the paramedic.
It was the truth after all, the body that Reno reincarnated in had died of starvation and physical abuse. Reno had been battling all this time with this weak body, and had it not been for his strong spirit and mental strength, he would have passed out a long time ago, or perhaps even died.
"You the paramedics take him to the hospital quickly, you the cops, some of you handcuff the villain and put him in the car, some of you go around looking for the stolen money or other clues, the rest stay with me here waiting for Hawkes to come back" Kenji gave his orders, the men immediately dispersed To carry them out, Reno was taken to the ambulance and sped off to the hospital.

The sun was shining on a white room, in this room a little boy could be seen lying on a bed, many liquid nutrients and tonics were connected to him by injections, and he was connected to devices that showed his heart rate, and there were also some bandages on him, of course this boy was Reno.
The sun's rays caused Reno to wake up, he slowly opened his eyes, his eyes devoid of any emotions, he examined his surroundings and his body and concluded that he was in the hospital.
Finally he has some time to rest and relax, he did not read in his previous life about any main character who reincarnated like him, not only did he not get wishes or a system, but since he opened his eyes in this world he found himself in awkward and life and death situations, it got to the point where he didn't even see his appearance yet.
'This damn luck, it's good that this world is modern and has some kind of laws and security, if I woke up with such luck in the world of Naruto or One Piece I would have been killed long ago' Reno thought to himself as he stared at the ceiling, now that he is safe He have the time to think about his next step, he didn't want to fall into similar situations before he become strong and before he awaken his quirk.
Also there was something very important he has to do, he has to verify the age of one of the main characters in the story to know in what period of the canon he is now,maybe the canon started , maybe not ,he didn't knew,but this knowledge is very important to him, especially since he knows the future events from the anime, if it turn out that It was the period before the canon, then the future events he knows will become a very effective weapon.
While Reno was lost in his thoughts, the door suddenly opened and a nurse entered his room, as soon as she entered his eyes changed from cold, indifferent eyes to those of a small child.
"I see you woke up little hero, that's good, tell me how are you feeling now?" asked the nurse in a sweet voice.
"My body feels much better than before, but I'm so hungry, I haven't eaten anything in a while," Reno answered timidly.
"That makes sense, your body may have recovered with liquid nutrients but nothing compares to a meal that satisfies your hunger, since you wake up I will bring you lunch," the nurse said with a smile, then went and brought a table with some dishes, Reno didn't hesitate to pounce on the food and eat greedily, The nurse watched him with a sweet smile as he ate, after being diagnosed, she guessed he was malnourished and hadn't eaten a decent meal in a while.
While Reno was eating the door opened again and Kenji walked inside, holding a few documents in his hand.
"I hope you'll excuse me for interrupting your meal, but I wanted to check on you and ask you some questions, I hope you don't mind" Kenji looked at Reno eating his food and asked.
"I'm fine, thanks for worrying about me. You can ask me anything, if I can help in any way I will," Reno replied.
"good,thank you for your help , can you leave now miss, I want to talk to the boy privately," Kenji said, looking at the nurse.
"Okay, but please don't take too much time, he still needs rest and time to fully recover," replied the nurse.
"Don't worry, I won't take much time" Kenji nodded, then watched the nurse go out and close the door, he took a chair and sat in front of Reno's, he then opened the documents in his hand.
"Okay let's start, first is your full name Reno Arasaki."
"Yes sir".
"Do you have anything to do with the two villains who kidnapped you?"
"They are my parents."
Kenji looked at Renu, he could see the complex look in his eyes, his gaze contained fear and sadness, he looked heartbroken.
But in fact Reno was neither afraid nor sad, it was simply that he was good at acting, in addition to his understanding of the situation and his young age, all these factors made it easy for him to deceive Kenji.
"I'm sorry it must have been difficult for you, is there a specific reason for them treating you like this?"

"Do you have any idea where they were heading?"
Reno knew where his parents wanted to go, his mother's friend Shiho was waiting for them, but he replied "I asked them about it, but my father beat me, and my mother..." Reno grabbed his bandaged arm and lowered his head shivering.
"Well it's okay, you don't have to be afraid anymore, Hawkes caught your mother, it looks like they will face heavy charges and spend the rest of their lives in prison, you don't need to fear them anymore, but at the same time I feel sorry for you, it's like you have lost your parents, we wanted to contact one of your relatives to take care of you, but after investigation we could not find any relative to your parents, all we knew is that your parents grew up in an orphanage and did not know who their parents were,so you will have to live in an orphanage as well".
Reno went silent for a moment, then raised his head,he looked at Kenji and asked, "Are the people in the orphanage going to abuse me too?"
"Of course not, all the people who live there are children like you, and the lady of the orphanage who takes care of you is very nice, all the children in the orphanage love her, I am sure that you will love the place there" Kenji replied, he wanted to reassure him.
"Okay sir, I'll go there" Reno made up his mind.
"Good, but before you go you have to stay here in the hospital until you are fully recovered, when it is time to move we will tell you," said Kenji while getting up "and now take care of yourself until I see you next time, little champ."
"Thank you very much for your kind care, sir." Reno said gratefully, which made Kenji smile, wave his hand and walk out of the room,When he found the nurse, he asked her when the boy will be discharged from the hospital, but she told him that after he finish his physical treatment, he must be treated psychologically as well,a therapy is needed to make sure that this incident would not leave him traumatized, he have to stay at least 6 months in the hospital.
As soon as Kenji left the room, Reno sank into deep thought. It wasn't a perfect start in a new world. He doesn't have a home. He doesn't have parents and relatives to take care of him. He will live in an orphanage. But there are some pluses too. He was very young. Training at a young age will allow him to develop his body and his fighting abilities early, he will have a chance to exceed his level in his previous life, in addition to that he will also get a quirk, these factors will help him reach the top and enjoy what this world has to offer.
'I must not waste time, as soon as I get out of the hospital I will start training, also I'm looking forward to what will be my quirk, I will determine my future path as soon as I wake it up, but whatever path I choose in the future, one thing is certain, I will not allow any existence to threaten me, I will fully enjoy this life and I will not have to fear anything, because I will stand on top of this world' Reno clenched his fists and a ruthless glint flashed in his eyes, he reminded himself of his goals and renewed his determination to achieve them.

Reno now is 4 years old,after the completion of his treatment, physically and psychologically, he was released from the hospital,Kenji was waiting for him outside and took him to the orphanage. After going through a series of legal procedures, Reno became a resident of the orphanage.
After Kenji bid farewell, the matron informed Reno of the times of food, sleep,play, etc., and then guided him to his room.
It was a simple room consisting of two beds, a table and two chairs, apparently the orphanage rooms were not private rooms, but were duo rooms, the reason Reno was left alone in the room was simply because all the other rooms contained two childs, so if another child came to the orphanage In the future he will be his roommate.
Reno sat on the chair,put his hands on the table and took a deep breath, it was time to start forming some plans , he sank into deep thoughts , suddenly his right hand started glowing and the spot where his palm was on melted , lefting only a mold of a hand print on the table,then his whole hand penetrated the table .
Reno looked at this scene in shock,he didn't understand what just happened, he pulled his hand out of the table and put it again on another part of the table and with a thought of him the spot melted,now the table has two holes in the form of handprints in it.
Reno understood that his quirk has awakened,his eyes shined,the scene amazed him , it was a better version of his mother quirk , if his mother quirk was to rise temperature and heat objects,his quirk literally melted them.
"that's it , I'm going to call my quirk :MELT" said Reno with a wide grin on his face , now everything will change.
