Chapter 11: Protecting Me From Harry
BRIANNA'S P. O. V
Today has been very hectic. Mr Craine and I visited some of his factories. I wonder how many companies and factories he has. We arrived at Empire Group headquarters very late. I have been working on some documents and now I am done.
"Sir please here are the documents" I said and placed them on his desk.
He is busy working on his laptop. I turned around to leave
"Miss Bennett" he called
"Yes sir" I responded
"You can leave. I have an appointment tonight so I will leave soon too" he said
"Yes sir" I responded and left
I left the office after a while. I was standing in front of the building waiting for a cab when someone called me. I turned around and was shocked by the person I saw.
"Harry, what are you doing here" I asked angrily
"Hello babe. How are you" he said sarcastically
"What are you doing here" I asked
"Can we talk" he said
"I don't want to talk to you" I said and turned to leave
He holds my hand tightly and pulls me closer to him.
"Harry what are you doing" I said
"I have been calling you for days and you are not picking my calls" he said
"I don't pick because I don't want to talk to you now leave me alone" I said and pushed him
I turned and try to leave but he stops me by holding me tightly on my waist.
"I said I want to talk to you and you are not leaving till I am done" he said hushly
He falsely takes me to his car and tries to make me sit in it.
"Harry leave me alone" I shouted
"If you don't want any problem, sit in it quietly" he said
"Harry please leave me alone" I said with tears in my eyes.
I started crying and Harry didn't even care. He falses me to get in the car and was about to drive off when someone stood in front of the car.
"Move out of the way before I hit you" Harry said rudely
"Miss Bennett get out of the car" the person ordered and his voice sounded like Mr Craine
"She is my girlfriend. She is not going anywhere. Who the heck are you anyway" Harry said
The person comes to my side of the car and pulls me out. My face hits his hard chest. I looked up and saw Mr beautiful arrogant Craine.
"Who the heck are you" Harry asked rudely
"I am the person who will beat you black and blue if you don't get out of here" Mr Craine said
"She is my girlfriend" Harry shouted
"Harry I don't want to be your girlfriend anymore. You cheated on me. Please go away" I said while crying
"You don't end things babe. I end them" Harry said
"Boy if you don't get out of here, you won't like what I will do to you" Mr Craine said
"Listen here old man stay out of this. This is between my girlfriend and I" he said
Harry tries to take my hand and I hide behind Mr Craine. I hugged him from the back. Mr Craine didn't stop me. I placed my head on his back.
"Boy for the last time get out of here" Mr Craine said
Harry tries to punch him but Mr Craine was fast enough to catch his hand.
"Miss Bennett please step back" Mr Craine said
I did as I was told.
Mr Craine uses his leg to make Harry fall down. He punches him
"This is for you to learn how to respect a woman" Mr Craine said
Mr Craine punches him again.
The bodyguards of Mr Craine arrive. Mr Craine orders them to get him out of there. The bodyguards take Harry to his car and makes him drive away from the building.
I run and hug Mr Craine. It felt so good to be in his arms
"Thank you sir. Thank you for protecting me" I said while crying
"Are you okay" he asked
"Yes sir" I replied
"Miss Bennett please stop crying. It's over" he said calmly
He fixes my hair and kisses my forehead. I looked at him for a while and hugs him again.
"It's alright. He is gone. Come I will take you home" he said
I didn't want to stop hugging him. I felt so comfortable. I have never been this comfortable with any man. We walk to his car and he helps me get in. He sits next to me and I hug him again. I closed my eyes with my head on his broad chest. I felt him combing my hair with his fingers.
