Chapter 13: Thank You For Saving Me
MICHAEL'S P. O. V
After the incident at the building I didn't trust Harry so I assigned one of my bodyguards to follow Harry wherever he goes. I also assigned another one to ensure the safety of Miss Bennett.
Today, both bodyguards called me to inform me that Harry and Miss Bennett were both in one hotel. Fortunately, the hotel they both went belongs to me. I went there and through the security cameras, I got to know that they were both in one room. What caught my attention the most was the nervousness and fear I saw in Miss Bennett's eyes and behaviour. I waited for a while but none of them came out. Thank God I went to the room. If not that disgusting Human being would have hurt Miss Bennett.
Miss Bennett and I entered the elevator. I pressed on the button to go up. She hugged me as soon as the elevator door closed
"Thank you sir. Thank you for saving me again" she said while crying.
She kept hugging me till the elevator stopped. I held her hand. We walked out of the elevator and I saw one of my female staffs standing at the door
"Mr Craine please here is the key. I have placed the order in the guest room" she said
I thanked her and took the key.
I opened the door and asked Miss Bennett to come inside.
"Miss Bennett please there is a dress in the room on your left. Go in and change. Have you eaten" I said and asked
She shook her head meaning no. I told her to change. I went to the kitchen to prepare something for her to eat.
BRIANNA'S P. O. V
God thank You for sending Mr Craine to save me from that monster. I couldn't hold my tears back anymore. I cried like a baby. I couldn't believe Harry did this to me. One thing I don't understand is how Mr Craine came to save me. I didn't tell him anything so how did he know I was in trouble? I opened the bag and saw a dress, bra and panties. I tried them on and it fitted perfectly. I came out of the room nervously. I looked for Mr Craine but didn't find him. I looked around. Oh my God this place is beautiful I don't think it is a hotel room. I heard a sound. I walked to the direction of where it came. I was shocked at what I saw.
Mr Craine was wearing an apron and he was cooking. I couldn't believe my eyes.
"S-s-sir" I called him nervously
He turned and smiled
"Oh my goodness he has the most beautiful smile in the world" I said to myself. my inner was screaming
"Miss Bennett, please sit. I will serve you soon" he said
He served me something to drink.
"S-s-sir please how did you know I am here" I asked
"I didn't trust your ex so I assigned some bodyguards to follow you and him. That is how I got to know you are here" he said
"Thank you sir" I said
"You are a foolish girl" he said
"Huh" I asked. (Did he just insult me)
"You are a fool" he repeated
"S-s-sir" I shouted
"Miss Bennett do you think he would have not posted the video after sleeping with you? (I looked down nervously) why didn't you tell me what was going on" he asked
"I was scared" I said with tears in my eyes.
I got up and run to him. I hugged him again. I was crying like a baby again.
"Thank you sir. I was so scared. He was my first boyfriend. I loved him very much. I didn't know he had this monstrous side. He is the first man I ever had sex with. He broke my virginity" I said
"Sssshhh relax don't cry again. It's over" he said and hugged me back
"You are the best thing that has happened to me" I said
He broke the hug but I was still in his arms. He made me sit down and he served me some food. I tasted it and it tasted so good
"Sir the food is very delicious. This is really surprising" I said
"Why is it surprising" he asked
"You are a billionaire who can cook" I said
He smiles
"Hurry up and let me take you home" he said
His phone rang and it was the same girl he always talks to
"Excuse me" he said
He went out of the kitchen. I finished my food and washed the dishes. I cleaned the kitchen. I looked around the place. I went out through an open glass door. That was when I realised that we are in a penthouse. Even though it's on top of a building, it has a swimming pool and it was very luxurious.
"Oh my goodness this man is so rich" I said to myself.
I saw myself in a glass. I looked at how beautiful the dress is and I wonder how he manages to get my size so perfectly
"Miss Bennett shall we go" he asked
I turned around and saw that he has changed his clothes. I could see his physique through his shirt.
Damn this man is really beautiful. I can't stop staring figure
We left the penthouse and went down. He puts on a sunglasses and he looked devine.
We entered his car and he drove off
"Miss Bennett from today onwards, please tell me if something happens to you alright" he said
"Yes sir. Thank you sir" I said
We arrived at my house. I invited him in for a cup of coffee but he refused saying he had an appointment. I felt a bit jealous of his woman. I felt sad suddenly.
"Miss Bennett are you alright" he asked
I nodded
"Then why do you have that look on your face" he asked
"Nothing" I said while looking somewhere else because I didn't want him to see the jealousness on my face
"Good bye sir. See you tomorrow" I said and quickly run inside the house.
I told my mum everything that happened today.
"I can't believe Harry did this. Anna I didn't know you were having sex with him" she said
"Mum" I felt embarrassed
"Thank God Mr Craine saved you" she said and hugged me
I smiled unknowingly and my mum cought me
"Wow Anna, this is the first time I have seen you smiling at the mention of a man's name who is not Harry" Mum said
"Mum" I shouted while hiding my face out of embarrassment
She laughs.
"Mum I want to do something to thank him" I said
"How about you bake him cake. You know you are good at that" Mum said after thinking for a while.
I nodded my head at mum's suggestion
I woke up early the next day and baked a cake with the best recipe from my mother.
I bought a flower on my way to the office. I wrote a thank you note and attached it to the flower.
I fixed everything on my boss's desk when I got to the office. I immediately went to my office.
An hour later, Mr Craine arrived I stood at the entrance of my office and greeted him.
He responded and went to his office. Soon he called me to my office.
I entered nervously
"Miss Bennett please clear my schedules for the morning" he said
I was shocked. I thought he was going to ask about the cake.
I left for my office angrily.
