Chapter 14: Here comes the goon!!!
As I watched the kids running away from the guard, I could feel something from the red-headed one up front, still being new to all this I can only assume it's aura.
Pretty sure aura is supposed to be rare….. and the kids… I want to say they look homeless in their brown rags and clearly poor hygiene, but that's literally everyone in the "city", which by the way looks cobbled together half-assed, wood and stone are the material, and that's fine but there is 0 structure, but back to the main topic.
The kids were hauling ass down the "street" with the forgettable guard slowly losing pace due to I can only assume a lack of exercise, not that I was one to talk, my previous fitness setting was "fat fuck"
So with a quick sprint, I take off after the kids with my stubby aura-enhanced legs, I needed to see if I could get these kids on board with some shit I'm planning to do.
And as I'm running I'm feeling pretty cool using my supposed superpowers chasing after the "bad guys" so I thought I would spice it up and go for a slide maneuver under a cart, and... that didn't go the way I thought it would, the slide went a little too well… almost no dirt like friction, and it turns out it wasn't just a dark shadow under the cart...
It was shit....a big puddle of human shit….. not Pokémon….. human....it took me about 3 seconds to register the fact I am now a literal human skid mark and my response was intense, to say the least….
Gideon " AHHHHHHH! YOU FILTHY DEGENERATE COCKSUCKING MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!"
I didn't really have control of my mouth at the minute what ever just came, it was a natural reaction kinda like the reflex test at the doctor, and I exploded the clothes off me, not taken off, or ripped off, I aura exploded them off my body with pure willpower fueled by disgust….
But after that I calmed down until I realized I'm now naked, underwear wasn't a thing in the Middle Ages apparently, so now I'm naked and angry swearing at everyone who looks at me
Random stranger " why don't you come with me"
Gideon " WHY DONT YOU EAT A BAG OF DICKS!"
A similar conversation takes place for about a minute with multiple people probably trying to help a shit-covered naked child.... until I realize I lost the kids, so I let one last "fuck it all!" And start running in their general direction, row after row of houses, shop fronts, workshops, and alleyways I keep looking, but I think I can kinda feel where they went, aura is a glorious multi-tool that just solves all problems.
So anyways back to running, after what seemed like forever I finally see the guard that was chasing after them sitting on the ground, and I walk up to him and ask.
Gideon " hey big man, where did those kids you were chasing run off to!"
Guard " they got away *huff huff* to fast...….."
The guard turns to see me after he answers my question and is kinda stunned to see a naked kid just standing before in front of him questioning him
Gideon " which way did they go?"
The guard just points down the street and I take off in a sprint, some people would be like " why didn't you get some clothes?" Well to that I'd say, I'm 4 basically a baby, who the fuck cares about a naked baby….
So the breezy journey continues for another good 20 minutes of me just running around in the buff on my tiny legs, getting gasps and a few laughs from people…
And as I think about this chase, I am for the only time since being brought into this world thankful for being a 4-year-old, I could see how an adult me chasing some kids around naked would raise a few red flags.
Somehow I miraculously find the kids in an ally sharing a loaf of bread between themselves as I approached they looked at me confused, and I understood their doubt, especially after being chased by the guard, so I held my hand out to make a placating gesture and say
Gideon " don't worry I'm a noble"
Well, the kids looked at me with even more confusion and I can feel the x buttons being hit…

We finally lost the pesky guard chasing us, it's getting harder and harder to get food, the guards are getting on to our tricks and starting to recognize us on the streets.
This year has been really hard on us, me, Leah and Logan have had to fight tooth and nail to Survive, our parents were merchants that traveled between the port city of Lariah, and the capital of the Sinnoh kingdom Gretelen, they went missing on one of their journeys and not even 3 days after their disappearance one of their rival merchant groups stormed into our homes and seized everything.
But too much of a coincidence if you ask me because my father just landed a contract to import exotic Pokémon eggs to the capital, I bet they couldn't stand it and set him up, it was just unfortunate mother and Logan's parents were with him...
So we were tossed into the street and had to survive for a year on stealing and living in the streets, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been, viscount storms territory is apparently much better to commoners than the majority of others according to father, so a small blessing.
I would do anything to protect my sister and logan, and I have been trying everything I can think of to improve our situation but it's all for naught.
it's getting harder to survive now.....after we just escaped and divided up the food, a small naked child approached us, quite strange if you ask me…. He approached slowly and held out his hand, I thought he was going to ask for some food, I would give him some of mine so the others can eat more.
But the first thing to come out of his mouth was something none of us expected...
"Don't worry I'm a noble...…"
Uuuuuhhhhhhh, what?.....
