'I wouldn't want you to miss anything,' I mock under my breath as I close the last latch to the kennel.

I've never put anything together so fast in my life.

Jumping to my feet, I grab the dog pillow I bought earlier and set it in the kennel then move to Daisy, sleeping near the fire.

Taking a dog toy off the table, I whistle to get her attention, then show her the stuffed toy and she gets up from her warm place by the fire and follows it into the cage and settles back down.

Moving across the living area, I open the door to the bedroom and the lights are off but it isn't dark. Soft Christmas lights decorate the room in a warm glow.

Declan is out of his shirt already and seated on the far side of the room and Jayne is kneeling on the floor with her forehead down and her ass raised, offering Declan a front row seat to her perky new tail.

"I decided to wait for you. It's no fun without watching you both squirm." Declan speaks with a chuckle and Jayne stays still.
