Chapter 3: Training!!!
When the two remaining boys heard what the old man had to say, they stood their ground and protected their brother. But, before their bodies could even react, the old man knocked them down with quick strikes to the neck. When the boys woke up, they were in a house getting treatment from the old man. Horu got up first and went outside, he saw the old man training and decided to train with him. He told him everything that happened to them and how the spell book gave them hints to come to his house.
The old man sighed and said, "Those cheeky bastards, always troubling me with tasks". He then told Horu that, "The orbs were like some sort of key that unlocks your potential and the only way to get stronger is by doing what you do best and pushing it to the absolute limit. Once you push your body hard enough the orbs should notify you that you have evolved".
Out of nowhere Bastra and Leeron get up and Bastra asks.
Bastra: Evolved? I got that same message when I shot the explosion against the monster.
The old man then replied, "That means you should be 1 tier above your brothers".
Horu: Sorry if we were rude but we didn't ask for your name.
Mukuso: Oh! this old geezer's name's Mukuso, the host of the green orb.
Bastra: So you also possess an orb.
Mukuso: Yeah! I was one of the fighters that fought against the Raggins in the war.
Leeron: That's not true, the four great warriors that fought in the war were Modisa, Lukan, Ashmiel and Levi.
Mukuso: Well, sorry to say but the government covered it all up because I'm the only remaining participant of the war. I've never even heard of such names before.
Bastra: Where are the other fighters then?
Mukuso: They died protecting the world and now it's your turn because the Raggins know that the orbs have fused with another group of people again, so they'll come back to kill you and steal them. It's a never ending war between the Raggins and the Humans, it's been going on for centuries.
Horu: That's why we need to train quickly.
Mukuso: You're right! So, starting tomorrow your training will begin.
All three boys: Yes Sensei.
The following morning, Mukuso woke the boys up at exactly 4:00 am and took them outside. He told them that the only way to get stronger was to completely break their limits and evolve, he also mentioned that once they reach a certain evolutionary stage, they will be able to access powers that normal humans can't. But, he knows that if the boys were to go all out on his little hut, the whole mountain would be destroyed, so he created a pocket dimension using his magic and sent them all there to train. The boys had no sleep for two months but in the real world it was just two days. The orbs also made it that they could still keep on training even if they didn't eat for quite sometime. And after a year in the pocket dimension, they got out stronger, faster, smarter and overall better than they were before. They also realised that the Grade A level monster they faced at the base of the mountain was actually Mukuso's pet named Barki.
When they got out, they got tons and tons of improvements and it was only 12 days in the real world, the went from being able to destroy half a mountain at maximum power to being able to destroy a full moon with ease at the end of their training, but what they didn't know was that by the end of that 12 days in the real world was the beginning of the Raggi Waves. The King of The Raggins, Lord Rokon, kept on sending waves of warriors to earth to weaken the warriors and to make conquering of the planet easier.
What the boys didn't know was that on the 13th day, they would have their first true battle.
