Chapter 1: Prologue
House of Buné, one of the 72 Pillars of hell and devil household with a rank of Duke. Their clan trait gives them the power to tame dragons, and if trained properly, even allows them to turn into one.
During the three-way war between the fallen angels, devils, and angels, the Buné was the one who made the other two faction suffered the most.
Bringing an army of tamed wyverns and drakes, they wreck havoc in the battlefield and caused severe losses to both the fallen and the angel factions.
They were feared, especially the Heir of Buné who became the synonym of terror. Having an unmatched strength that far surpasses the Four Devil Kings, he was an almost unbeatable existence.
Alciel Buné, the Heir to the House of Buné.
The term "Super Devil" was created just for him. He was a considered a "bug" existence that isn't supposed to exist since his very being is disrupting the balance of the world. It was because of him that "Biblical God" fixed the system and made sure no one like him appears again.
He was feared by both devils, fallens, and angels.
But what the other two faction really feared was not only his overwhelming power, but also the fact that he managed to successfully tame two of the Six Great Dragon Kings, Tannin and Tiamat.
Dragon Kings are one of the strongest class of dragons capable of matching gods and satans. And once they entered their outraged state, they are more than enough match for a Heavenly Dragon.
He also has an army of high-level dragons that obeys his command. He alone rushed to the battlefield and slaughtered angels and fallens alike.
He has killed so much that the Biblical God was forced to take action and suppress him because no angels or fallen, seraph or otherwise, is capable of stopping him.
Super Devil or not, the Biblical God was still a being at the same level as Shiva the one who is known as Destroyer whose power is only below the two Dragon Gods.
So Alciel, even with the help of Tannin and Tiamat who entered their outraged state and became as strong as a heavenly dragon, could not do anything but struggle for survival.
After knowing that Alciel was being suppressed by God, the angels and fallen took this chance to get rid of the Buné who has caused them so much losses.
When Alciel, Tannin and Tiamat finally managed to barely escape the hands of God, they found out that the Buné clan was completely annihilated, and only a few dragons, wyverns and drakes managed to escape.
Enraged, the three went on a rampage, killing devils, fallens and angels alike. They caused so much chaos that the three faction decided to postpone the war just to stop them.
They temporally managed to suppress the three, but an enraged Alciel used all his power and called out the two heavenly dragons and forcefully controll them.
With the power of heavenly dragons on his side, Alciel almost brought the three factions into extinction.
Though the Biblical God(weakened) put a stop to it and sealed the two heavenly dragons into Sacred Gears, which cause him to be weakened even further.
He became so weak that Alciel, in his dragon form, easily bit him to death, which calmed him down and eventually lead to a ceasefire agreement between the three factions.
They were exhausted, their numbers were less than half of what it once was, and their leaders lost their lives.
As the war ended, Alciel sold off all the properties of Buné clan and bought the "Arcanum Mountain Range" where he decided to turn into a place for dragons where they live there in seclusion.
In the outside world, the death of a God, especially one as powerful as the Biblical God alarmed all Pantheons. Some of them became greedy for the "system" created by God and wanted it for themselves.
After all, once they took over it, wouldn't they have an army angels for themselves? And they would also be able to control the Sacred Gears, especially the Longinus-class which would surely increase their power.
But as if he anticipated his own death, the Biblical God left some aspect of his divinity in the system which can be access by the four Seraphs and increase their power to almost the same level as Chief Gods, which is higher than Devil King-class, and below Super Devil class.
Those gods who became greedy quickly remained silent. Who is stupid enough to earn the ire of four Chief God level beings?
With those four Seraphs possessing the power almost comparable to Chief Gods, the power balance between the three faction quickly shifted to the favor of Angels. Since the angels would rather have peace, they did not disturb the other two.
But the fallens and devils always tread carefully as they all feel a blade pointed at their necks. One wrong move and their lives might end.
So even though there are skirmishes, they wanted to avoid an all out war which might result in their destruction. The fallens were more careful, since the devils at least have Alciel, a super devil, but they don't.
This "peace" continued for centuries until some devils became quite itchy and wanted to start another war, though some of them preferring peace.
The tension between the two sides grew until the devils were on a brink of civil war.

Note: The levels aren't absolute. Example: A low-class Youkai might be rank lower than low-class devils, but they knew Touki, which makes them physically stronger and more durable than low-class devils. Another example; a lesser dragon could fight evenly with a high-class devil, due to their scales which gives them a great resistance to physical and magical attacks, along with their superior strength and destructive power.
Also, I will go with "evolution system" like the one from tensura for them to increase their tier. Like how Tier 8 Lesser Dragon need to evolve into Greater Dragons to be reach Tier 7, etc.
