Chapter 4: Silver bullets part 2
The magistrate screamed in pain as the bullet sinked into his skin.
How? The bullet wasn't supposed to hurt!
The magistrate held his leg in pain. He wasn't supposed to feel this much pain especially from a mere bullet. He had been shot before and the pain he felt then would not even amount to one-fouth of the one he was feeling right now.
"It hurts right?"Lucas asked a question that the answers was quite obvious as he just heard the magistrate scream right now.
" For a wolf you aren't strong. Screaming like a girl because if such a tiny piece of metal. Tsk! What a disgrace to be of the same race" Lucas mocked.
The magistrate looked confused. What did he mean by 'disgrace to be of the same race'
The magistrate's eyes widened as realization dawned on him.
"Your a wolf?"The magistrate said, disbelieve written all over his face. And to think the lord of this lands was a wolf.
" Why do you protect the humans then? The same creatures that would burn our kind." The magistrate manage to sy after a lot of struggles.
"The humans only do that because of the fear that our kind have implanted so well in their heart."The Lord said calmly.
Luna was puzzled. All the information she was hearing now made her head spin. So the lord and his siblings were werewolves? The very same creatures they claims to protect the humans from.
Luna wasn't judgy because she knew that if any one was to hear she was of Hansonian blood they would forget that they ever knew her and would set her aflame before they would consider their actions.
The magistrate was still trying to understand why the bullet hurt so much
He could feel a familiar burn in the bullet wound, one that he feels when his skin comes in contact with silver.
" Are you still trying to understand why it hurts so much?"asked Lucas looking like the magistrate was the dumbest person on this lands. "The bullet is made of silver you blockhead!"
That explained a lot. Silver, apart from fire was the only proper way to completely kill a wolf.
" Okay enough with the chitchat, Who are you working for?" Lucas asked. The magistrate face turned white as snow when Lucas pointed the gun at his head, "And I won't miss this time"He added before he pressed the trigger. The loud sound if the bullet shot echoed in the office.
The magistrate slowly opened one of his eyes, anticipated the pain or sudden blackout but he felt none.
He noticed the was a silver bullet just inches away from him.
" I don't like to waste bullets. These kinds are very difficult to make." Lucas removed six of the silver bullets and place them in his pocket. He spined the bullet case with his hand and locked iit in place.
"Now, for every lie I detect I shoot, " He told the magistrate who was shivering like crazy.
" Who are you working for?"
"No .."Before the magistrate could answer Lucas pulled the trigger.
'Click!'
" Lucky bustard. Now one more time. And this time say the truth you never know where the bullet would be."
"Lord Aiden"
'Click!'
"Do you intend to die a foolish death? If not, stop messing around. I'm not a very patient man."
" I don't know who.."
'Click!'
"You have five more blocks and you'll be dead corps." Lucas said. His patience was nng thin.
"The leader of the blood pack. He had some connections with some of the elites."The magistrate said frantically.
" which elites? Humans, vampires witches or our kind?"Lucas asked. To know that some people of the high society were working with h to creat havoc.
"Humans but I don't know who they are"
'Click! Click!'
Two clickes were heard.
"I don't know I promise. I didn't get to know them because they knew something like this could happen." The magistrate said frantically. What happened before he was even in this situation?
"What about the animals that were being killed? Was that your doing?"Lucas asked the magistrate.
The magistrate shook his head," I wasn't the one but I have an idea who it might be. There is another wolf living in this village it might have been him."
Lucas looked at the magistrate carefully trying to detect any lies,"where does he stay?"He asked.
The magistrate wrote the address with shaky hands and handed it to Lucas.
"What crappy handwriting this is. As I promise I won't harm you but I can't speak for my brother here. Good luck!"Lucas said and left the office to get a hold of the other wolf that resided in this human village.
Not long before Lucas left the magistrate's office he could hear a loud gun shot. He knew Nicholas wouldn't spare the man especially after what he tried to do to Luna. He knew his brother had a soft spot for the girl. With a smirk on his face he continued his trip to the Wolf's house. People stared at him curiously but he cared less.

The lord looked at Luna for a while before helping her up.
" Are you okay?"He asked
Luna nodded her head slowly. Its been fourteen years since she saw him. She looked at the magistrate that had a bullet hole in his forehead and spat on him.
To think he was about to rape her.
Luna's mind was still trying to process all that happened. Their magistrate was a wolf and so was the lord of their land.
Now that she thought about it the lot looked a little hairier than normal. Not that it made him any less handsome, in fact it made him look the more exquisite.
His hand fell warm in hers. His grip not right but just enough to make her feel safe.
"Why haven't you come and visit me?" Luna asked cautiously. He wasn't just her childhood friend any more but the lord of the land she lived in.
The lord was silent for sometime before he spoke.
" Let's get out if here"He said and gently dragged her out.
As expected the village folks had surrounded the magistrate's office. Some had left when they heard the gun shot but many still waited.
"Good morning ,milord." A young man with glasses greeted. Luna knew him. He was the assistant of the late magistrate. It made her wonder if he was also a wolf.
"Is anything the matter?"He asked politely adjusting the glass that rested on the bridge of his nose.
" Get the village guards to get rid of the Wolf's body."The lord ordered and began walking away with Luna beside him.
"W-wolf? T-there is a wolf in the village? We must inform the magistrate."The young man said. Then it hit him. Where was the magistrate. Was the magistrate a wolf all this time.
" He ran away. He didn't seem dangerous do I let him go. His a kid."Lucas said once he returned.
Lucas winked at Luna which made her giggle softly. It seemed he hadn't change on bit. He was always the exciting one while the lord was the serious one.
But all this didn't mean Luna liked the lord any less. He was her favourite back then. Not that he wasn't right now he just seemed distant to her.
"Luna!" Luna's aunt ran with her uncle trailing behind her and gave her a hug. When she heard gun shots she had ran home to call her husband.
"I'm okay aunt. Lord Nicholas and Lucas saved me."Luna said with an assuring smile on her face.
" Lord Nicholas?" Her aunt said with an unbelievable expression on her face. Now she notice the two men who were dressed in expensive clothes by Luna.
She straightened her dress and bowed down to the two men.
"Good morning milord, Sir Nicholas." She said.
Lucas gave her a smile but his ice stone brother just nodded.
" What were you doing alone in the magistrate's office."The lord asked Luna.
Luna explained to him what happened but he still blamed her.
"Would you both like to have some tea? Luna makes the best tea." Luna's aunt said to loosen the tension in the air. But she wasn't lying about Luna making delicious tea at all.
The lord was about to refuse the after but Lucas readily accepted.
It was time to go and the lord entered the carriage with Locus behind him.
" Oh, and before I forget. Gina is having a birthday party at the mansion you could stop by. She would be very happy to see you." Lucas handed Luna an invitation card.
Luna smiled and waved them goodbye. According to the card the party was just three days from now and she knew the dress she would wear. She had been saving the dress for a special moment and she was sure now would be the time to wear it.
