Chapter 412: Volume 5 – Chapter 28(Leaving Dragonspine)

The beam didn't stop even after killing 'Makoto'. It kept on going and penetrated the sky, blowing the clouds away. It looked as though a hole had appeared in this world's atmosphere.
Primis "Zenith Vision" was just like DC world's Superman's "Heat Vision". Though compared to Superman's whose vision was red in color and use the solar energy inside him, Primis vision was blue thanks to zenith.
He then closed his eyes and the beam disappeared.
'Primis: That was an overkill. Still, if I don't control its output then.........'
Shaking his head, Primis didn't continue his thought and opened his eyes again.
Next, Primis feet left the ground he flew towards the direction of Mondstadt leaving the blue trail behind.
In less than a second, Primis was above the city.
Just as he expected, the city was already fallen. The streets, houses, stalls, shops, cathedral, even the statue of Anemo were destroyed. Traces of fights, blood, bone, flesh could still be seen all around.
Even if the entire City of Freedom seemed deserted, Primis could easily see those spider-like monsters hiding everywhere. No only that but those monsters were also in the forest and area around the city.
There were no survivors.
'Primis: Everything is exactly same like last time.'
He thought as his gaze turned towards the lake on which the city was established.
There he saw the same humongous creature resting at the very bottom of the lake.
'Primis: Since I didn't kill one of the monsters in the city like before, the other monsters still didn't know that someone have entered their territory.'
In the end, Primis decided to not care about it since there was no point in doing so.
Primis: If you think you can change my mind by sending in the future again and again then you are wasting your time.
He muttered to no one.
FWOOSH!!
FWOOSH!!
Then all of sudden, two orbs of lights came out of nowhere and stopped in front of Primis.
Raising one of his brows, he extended his right hand and grabbed one of them. The light died down and something appeared in Primis hand. After looking at it he turned silent.
He ignored the second orb and kept on looking at the thing in his hand.
Sometimes later, he opened his mouth.
Primis: ......Fine. I will lend a hand.
WHUM!!
WHUM!!
…
As if the entire world was happy hearing this, it trembled in excitement.
Primis turned his attention to remaining orb and extending his other hand. Once he held it, the light faded away like before and he saw what it was.
Sighing, Primis closed both his hands.
Primis: Before I return, I want you to give me the memories, experience and knowledge that the people of this timeline gained while fighting and perishing at the hands of these monsters.
Once he said so, some fragments of energy gathered around him.
Waving his hand, Primis put them away.
Primis: That's all. Send me back.
At this, some kind of power engulfed Primis and he disappeared.

--- In the sky ---
Opening his new bluish-black eyes again, Primis found himself back at the top of flying boulder with Makoto at his side.
Sensing him waking up, Makoto turned to him. Then a surprise expression appeared on her face.
Makoto: My Lord...your eyes.
Primis: I know.
Responding he looked down and saw Lumine, Venti, and Yuuya still fighting against that Beast.
Though slowly and slowly, they were falling into disadvantage as more injuries were appearing on their bodies.
Makoto: The way things are, they will definitely suffer severely if Barbatos wouldn't release his Archon strength.
Primis remained silent.

A few moments later, zenith started concentrating and condensing in his eyes.

Then blue beams were shot out of Primis eyes.

Lumine: *HUFF* *HUFF* I can only *HUFF* unleash one more *HUFF* *HUFF* elemental attack. *HUFF* *HUFF* *HUFF*
Yuuya: *PANT* *PANT* *PANT* Damn it! *PANT* *PANT* My reserve are *PANT* *PANT* already empty *PANT* *PANT*
Venti: *DEEP BREATHE IN* *DEEP BREATHE OUT* If I have some more time then...….
Lumine: You have a way to *HUFF* end it.
Venti: ...…Yes.
All three of them were extremely tried and were breathing heavily. They were fighting this beast for hours by now. Because of the Beast overwhelming pressure and strength, their guard was all time high. Hence, fatigue was catching up to them both mentally and physically.
Yuuya: *PANT* How long do you *PANT* need, Venti *PANT* *PANT*
Venti: ...A minute.
A dumfounded expression appeared on both Lumine and Yuuya face hearing this.
Yuuya: Are you kidding me! Without your support we can't even stop *PANT* that beast for a second! *PANT* You are asking us to delay it for a minute! Might as well ask us to kill ourselves!
Lumine at the side also nodded. Even if she used everything she had in her arsenal, she would only be able to barely keep the beast at bay for at most 10 seconds. 60 seconds were impossible.
Of course, it's possible in case Yuuya had something in his sleeve. Which Lumine had no confidence in.
THUCH!!
The Beast who was glaring menacing at them, ready itself to pouching at them again.
This made others to be prepared.
But then in the next second...
VROOM!!!
BOOM!!!!
Bluish Beam out of the sky and hit the Beast before it could even react.
A huge explosion occurred and the force behind it threw the three away.
They hurriedly stabilized themselves and remained low on the ground.

They were not the only one who got affected, the entire Dragonspine started trembling because of the impact.
Finally, the bluish beam disappeared leaving huge hole behind.
Gulping, Lumine stood up and slowly walk towards that hole. After reaching its edge, she looked down and was astonished to see that beam and penetrated into the deep part of the Dragonspine. She can't see where it ends.
One should know that the ice on Dragonspine can't be melted with pryo element. Hence, it shocked them to the core that a blue light came out of nowhere and accomplished something impossible like this.
As Lumine was deep in her thoughts, she heard a voice near her ears.
???: Leave Dragonspine. There is nothing for you do here anymore.
Of course, Lumine recognized Primis voice in an instant. She then started looking around but failed to find him.
Lumine: Where are you, Mr. Erste?
She asked while trying to find his location. Though Primis didn't appear, only his voice resounded in her ears again.
Primis: I will meet you later. For now, leave. Eula and Amber are at the foot of the mountain and are injured. They need treatment. So, you should hurry. As for what happened to them, you can just ask them.
Hearing that Eula and Amber need help, Lumine didn't ask anything else and nodded.
Turning back at the approaching Yuuya and Venti, she spoke in serious tone.
Lumine: Let's leave.
Yuuya: Huh? Why?
Instead of answering, she curled the corner of her lips and replied.
Lumine: You will know.

--- In the sky --
Chuckling, Primis looked at the retreating figure of Lumine.
Primis: Girl, you are now even copying me.
A minute later, his smile faded as he kept on looking at her. Ever since Primis returned, his eyes never left Lumine.
Only when they met up with Eula and Amber did Primis lowered his head and opened his right hand.
There was flower inside. The flower only had two petals. One of the petals was half destroyed while the other one had blood on it. This was the same flower which Lumine pinned at the right side of her head.
The reason why this flower made Primis changed his decision to help was because in the past during their travel, this flower got partially destroyed while fighting one of the monsters. That time Primis fixed it knowing how much important it was to Lumine even though she didn't have the past memories. But from that day onwards, Lumine took an extreme care for it. As if it was her most precious thing.
Except Primis and herself, she didn't let anyone else touch it either. In case someone try then she got very angry. Primis had witnessed it many times before. Since they were exploring Mondstadt, it obvious that they will come across other people or adventurers. Many got attracted to such beautiful flower which they had never seen or read about it before. Hence, they asked to take a look but where bluntly refused by Lumine.
Some people were even willing to pay millions or billions mora to have that flower in their collection. This on the contrary anger Lumine even more.
Sighing Primis put the flower away. The reason why Primis didn't care much about what happened to the future Lumine was because he didn't exist in that timeline. As said before, as a unique existence, Primis existed neither in past nor in future. Not even in the parallel worlds. Hence, he had no contact with future Lumine since he didn't exist there in the first place.
The Will of World was trying to show him what would happen to this World in case he didn't appear.
Makoto: My Lord, w-what was that!?
Snapping Primis out of his thoughts Makoto asked. This was the first time she had seen Primis used that move. Remembering it, she felt a chill down her spine.
Primis: Zenith Vision.
Makoto: Huh? Zenith Vision?
He didn't bother explaining and opened his left hand this time. This was another thing that Will of World gave him.
"Wha----"
Makoto: My Lord!! How do you have th----
Primis: You don't need to know.
Cutting her off, Primis asked the System's Spirit.
"Primis: Is there a mission of this in the system database?"
"T-There is. B-But I n-never thought Lord will complete it already. After all, this mission can't be complete unless Lord t-travelled throughout all seven nations."
"Primis: Doesn't matter. It's complete now. Submit it. Use the rewards however you like."
"Really!"
"Primis: Yes. The reward will definitely heal a lot of your injuries, isn't it?"
"Of course! Thank you, My Lord!"
Nodding Primis put the thing away.
'Primis: Time to leave the Dragonspine and continue with the Plot.'
Saying this, Primis let go of his power that was holding the broken boulders, pillars, and other stuff in the sky.

Lumine, Eula, Amber, Venti and Yuuya who had left the vicinity of the Dragonspine heard some sound and turned back.
Next, in front of their astonished eyes, boulders, rocks, rubble fell on the Dragonspine.

BANG!!
BANG!!
BANG!!
…
Like this their so-called journey in Dragonspine came to an end.
