Chapter 12: Chaper 12 - Ralts?
I got called in to work tonight, so I'm only getting one chapter out today. I'm sorry! I promise I'll try and get more tomorrow. For now, enjoy this chapter and have a nice day!

At 4:30 pm, the ecological field trip to the forest had ended.
Quinn, who had been walking all day, was exhausted both physically and mentally. After getting dinner from the cafeteria, he returned to the dormitory and fell asleep. Not long after, a small head with a head of green peeked out from his backpack.
"Gah?" Cramorant slowly turned his head, his sluggish gaze locked onto the Ralts peeking out.
Noticing his gaze, Ralts immediately hid back inside the bag. For a while, there was no movement, and Ralts cautiously peeked back out, nervously observing the area.
Without caring about her any longer, Cramorant flew back to his usual spot on the bed and lay down. He had decided she wasn't a danger to his trainer.
Ralts breathed a sigh of relief and lightly floated out of the backpack using psychic. Looking at the human objects around her, her eyes lit up in curiosity.
She floated to the desk and poked the lamp on the desk with a small hand. Its hand touched the switch, and with a click, a bright light suddenly illuminated the desk.
Ralts's body stiffened, and she immediately teleported away. Looking around vigilantly, after seeing the human on the bed did not move she calmed down.
It returned to the desk, sitting on a pile of books, and started swinging its legs leisurely. It cast its gaze on the human on the bed.
After some time has passed...
In the middle of the night, Quinn was awakened by a loud noise. He opened his eyes and saw an angry Gardevoir appear in his room. Like a little girl who sneaked away from home and was scolded by her mother after she was caught, stood Ralts.
Quinn was taken aback and was dazed for a second. What happened while he was sleeping?
Gardevoir's eyes were scolding while looking at Ralts. Quinn subconsciously used [Pokémon Identification].

'A Gardevoir and Ralts... Aren't they the ones I saw in Rustboro Forest?' Thinking, Quinn turned his attention to Ralts and used [Pokémon Identification]

Quinn is sure, this Ralts is the one he saw in the forest. Even so, Quinn did not dare to move, because the aura of Gardevoir was really too strong, at first glance she was over level 60...

The mother and daughter confronted each other, seeming to communicate telepathically. After a while, Ralts let out a cry of grievance, walked to Gardevoir dejectedly, and glanced at Quinn in disappointment. In the next second, the figures of the mother and daughter disappeared from the room.
Quinn was confused, and thought, 'I was just sleeping... did I miss anything?'
Looking at Gardevoir's angry look, it seemed that Ralts had snuck out. But why did she appear in his room?
'Is it possible that I saved it by chance before, so it wants to be caught by me?'
(E/N -- Let's clarify Quinn, I love you- but I love Cramorant more... He really saved her, while saving you. All hail Cramorant!)
It's normal for this kind of thing to happen in the anime, but now that its happening to him, Quinn suddenly felt incredible. He then realized what he had missed.
Thinking about it carefully, even if Ralts is willing, Gardevoir might not agree... Quinn can see that it seems to hate humans. If you want to catch Ralts, Gardevoir won't let it happen easily- unless you catch Gardevoir as well.
'It's just...isn't it weird to catch both mother and daughter?' he thought.
It is impossible for him to fight Gardevoir now, unless gets attacked first, making Cramorant begin his attack. Quinn felt bad, but Cramorant didn't give him much time to reflect on it...
In the morning, watching the Pikachu struggling in Cramorant's beak, Quinn suddenly felt an ambient shock in the air.
"Let it go!" Quinn yelled.
Unfortunately, it is too late. The Pikachu wasn't resisting before, but it was now!
"Pika-chuuu!"
With a full shout, a strong electric current surged from Pikachu. Lights started flickering in the room instantly, and Quinn felt numb at this time.
"Gah!"
Cramorant opened his mouth, and Pikachu took the opportunity to jump out from inside and began looking at Cramorant vigilantly.
After the thunderbolt, Cramorant was fine... but Quinn wasn't so great.
But surprising to Quinn, he didn't even faint after being hit with a thunderbolt?!
'So the humans in this world are really just special Pokémon right?!' he thought.
However, in actuality, most of its power was absorbed by Cramorant, and what affected Quinn was only a small portion of the attack.
"Pikachu!"
At this moment, there was a cry of exclamation outside.
"Pika!" Pikachu's ears twitched, and he quickly jumped out of the open window.
Quinn was scorched by the electricity, and weakly said while laying on the ground, "Don't come back with a Pikachu next time!"
Cramorant was dazed, "Gah!"
The door was pushed open, and a girl holding Pikachu ran in and looked anxiously at the scorched boy on the ground, "Teacher Quinn, are you okay?"
(E/N -- Just realized he has no last name, so give me some ideas...)
Quinn let out a sigh, looked at the person who came, and found that it was a student one of the classes he taught, and responded, "I'll be fine when I get rid of the paralysis."
Five minutes later...
Quinn had returned to normal, and heard the girl say, "I and Pikachu were playing by the river, this Pokémon flew over, took Pikachu, and flew away."
Quinn apologized to her bitterly, "I'm really sorry, it's my fault. He does that sometimes..."
"As long as everyone is fine." The girl hugged Pikachu and breathed a sigh of relief, "Then Teacher Quinn, I'll go back first!"
Quinn personally sent her off, he returned to the room and stared at Cramorant with a blank face.
Cramorant tilted his head, "Gah?"
"..."
'Magikarp yesterday, Pikachu today, and what else will he grab tomorrow, an Electrode?' Quinn thought, but after thinking of the possibility he stopped that line of thought.
Quinn tiredly sighed, while thinking, 'It seems that Cramorant's time outside of the pokéball has to be shortened...'
