Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1
What's wrong with the universe? A princess who had been eagerly awaited by many races had finally died, struggling with the wounds of an enemy's hatred and greed.
Lia couldn't help herself, even though she wanted to go back into her body, which looked pale, froze, and then stiffened. Everyone cried seeing her die, why?
"I used to want to die because I thought my death would leave no one sad. But right now, I want to live again." But then she heard a soft voice greet her, asking her not to turn around and continue on her path, towards the passage of light. The last sound she heard was her baby's cry, which broke miserably with her husband's cries.
"Sorry," she whispered, then decided not to turn around again.
"LIA! MY WIFE! PHYSICIAN, SAVE MY WIFE!" Prince Aerus roared like an insane person. His tears spilled down his cheeks, his body shook along with his weak legs helplessly. His hand brushed Lia's pale and cold face as if it could help her come back to life.
News of her death had spread throughout the palace. King Artesun and Queen Lunanis were blown away like they were hit by a storm and lightning. They immediately teleported to the delivery room, weak as if on the verge of passing out.
Queen Lunanis couldn't even move her body, so the maids had to carry her to sit on a chair. Meanwhile, King Artesun seemed to have lost his focus.
His eyes saw his son struggle as the guards tried to pull him back so that Lia's body could be rinsed soon.
"She is still alive! My wife is still alive! Don't touch her! She will wake up soon! She promised to take care of our baby! Lia, I'll punish you if you're still joking," roared Prince Aerus, like claws were about to pop out of his mouth. "I will have a concubine if you keep pretending to be passed out. Hurry up and wake up! Our crying baby needs you!!!!"
But the roars and threats were in vain. Lia never woke up, even though Prince Aerus fainted many times.
The last time he passed out, he was in his room, covered by a blanket with a wet face. He hoped what he was suffering was just a bad dream. In an instant, he thought which one was better? He married Lia and had a child but she died, or he never met her at all?
His mind was racing to decide, but in the end, he knew that he couldn't choose or answer his questions. Her presence is a healer and a blessing for him, while her death is the deadliest disaster for him.
King Artesun appeared shortly after, making Prince Aerus crawl to his knees and plead after he realized that what he was experiencing wasn't just a dream.
"Father!" he asked, prostrating himself and placing his forehead on the roof. "Please do something. I'm sure Lia is still alive. She must be waiting for us to help her. Her energy was depleted from giving birth. If Father asked the king and queen of Centraxus to break the seal on her body, then perhaps she would come to her senses soon. I beg you, Father! I beg!"
King Artesun's gaze trembled, as his feelings raged. He had never seen his son so devastated by the death of someone. His old hands trembled, reaching out to pat his son's head. "Aerus, she's gone. Now she is in a painless world. You have to be able to let her go."
"NO!" roared Prince Aerus, breaking through his father in search of Ellipsis. He would go to Centraxus himself, begging King Rexon and Queen Renoa for them to break the seal on Lia's body. But when his feet reached the palace, his gaze was fixed.
Lia's body was already outside, placed on top of the coffin. Her face was extremely beautiful, her figure was filled with light, her hair shone in a very beautiful light, and….. her body slowly faded away, like a particle of dust blown away by the wind.
"The physician has confirmed that there is no energy left in her body. That means she's gone, Aerus. Her body yawned in a beautiful way. You'd better be with her at the last moment like this because you're her husband," said King Artesun, his voice shaking as he couldn't stop the tears from falling.
Dazed, Prince Aerus was speechless. Even his tears seemed to dry, even though his heart was sliced with pain. His feet approached his wife's coffin, then grabbed the baby who was in a servant's arms. They both watched Lia's departure, with broken and helpless hearts.
"Why did you leave me alone?" whispered Prince Aerus, who was now starting to cry again. "Why are you doing this to me?" he continued, shaken. "Do you hate me that much? Have I never made you happy?" And the many words of protest he uttered at his wife's corpse, which inevitably continued to evaporate.
Then at the last moment, at the last particles of Lia's body, Prince Aerus started to say sweet things.
"You are the best wife, and the greatest woman who always fills my heart," he whispered, hugging their baby tightly. "I will still love you, I will never replace your position with another woman. I know you hate me marrying another woman, and even though Hexa forced me to do it, I'd rather abdicate than betray you. You always have my heart, my wife, so go in peace and stay happy."
The last ashes were gone, like a farewell. Everyone in the palace was stunned, as if hypnotized, then burst into tears.
It was the saddest death in Hexa, they were devastated by Lia's death. A camera in the palace directly broadcasts the evaporation process of her body particles, which was witnessed by all the people in Hexa, then spread to all satellite channels in the universe.
King Rexon and Queen Renoa collapsed at the sight of their daughter's death, ignoring the shaken core of Centraxus by Lia's death, as an important pillar for the land's future. Now that the pole was dead, it had lost its source of energy.
All the people were shaken by a terrible earthquake for a while, making Centraxus filled with cries and rampant terror.
Then when the earthquake finally subsided, they knew one thing for sure, through the national broadcast in the sky, which all the people of Centraxus could watch.
The broadcast featured the evaporation process of particles in Lia's body, which gave a very clear indication for the people of Centraxus.
"She…. she is a pure Gigatrum!" shrilled one of the people, collapsed with regret.
"There is the energy of one of the core pillars of Centraxus in her body." Then another cry broke out.
"And she is the only daughter of His Highness and Her Highness."
Weeping and sadness finally filled Centraxus, especially when earthquakes occurred repeatedly. It could have been restrained by the king and queen, had they not been shaken in sorrow.
"I'm sorry!" cried Queen Renoa, who repeatedly fainted from being too sad. "I regret not breaking the seal on Lily's body. I want her back! Rexon!"
But King Rexon suffered the same bout of grief. He had almost forgotten that he had to support Centraxus on his shoulders. Now Centraxus had been hit by disasters, again and again, leaving all the people mourning and mourning the death of the crown princess as well as their sad fate.
Suddenly the universe was filled with a gloomy atmosphere. The sun seemed to be dimming, the sky seemed darker than gloomy. Centraxus is the largest light source in the universe, which supports a fair amount of illumination throughout the universe.
Now the planet was shaken, filled with pain, making it dim and even near death. The universe would probably be pitch black, just because of the death of a girl who was once a human, just because of the death of a girl who had always been despised and unwanted.
