Chapter 31: I Am Lucky

Archer's POV

If I only had the power to sink into a hole, I already did it and disappeared in front of Mariela after getting out of the shower, only wearing my boxer's shorts. She never complained whenever I paraded in our room after I showered, only wearing my underwear because I would quickly put on my clothes, but this morning is different.

A woman was standing inside our room facing Mariela, and I could see she was looking daggers at my roommate's face. There is no denying they are related because I could see the similarities between them, and our visitor is an older version of Mariela. She is also stunning even if she wears worn-out jeans and a blouse, and she is beautiful as Mariela.

I quickly put on my clothes, standing near my closet like a statue. As I listened to their conversation, it dawned on me the woman was Ella's mom, and I could see the frustration and embarrassment on Mariela's face.
