Chapter 2: PAST INCIDENT part 1

Thaniya's mother looked into the king's bedroom through the window and saw that he was the only one there, so she decided to tell him that night that she was pregnant for him. She looked at everywhere around her and going to the entrace of the bedroom at where a guard was. She made herself invisible like air as she was about to get to the entrance.

It was all of them from Heaven and Earth that had the power to make themselves invisible in Human world and always used it sometimes. She opened the door beside the guard, and when he didn't know anything just standing on the same post and watching around. She entered into the room and closed the door back that the guard didn't hear any sound.

She made herself visible back immediately as she entered. The King opened his eyes on the bed as he heard the sound of the door opened and closed. It was only the guard that she didn't allow to hear the sound or see her because it was very dangerous.

"Good evening my King" She greeted with honor as she entered, wearing a long cotton gown.

"I don't think I asked for anything. What are you doing here by this time?" The King stood up and sitting properly on the bed.

"Sorry if I disturbed you but there is something I want to tell you and that is why I am here my King"

"What can that be that you can't say tomorrow morning even why did the guard allow you in without my order" Said with loud voice.

"I am so sorry my King. I am here to tell you that I am pregnant, it's just three months gone" The King got off from the bed as he heard this.

"I don't think I heard you clearly. What did you just say right now? What is gone? And Where did it go to?" Facing her and asking with Strong emotion.

"I said that I am three months pregnant my King and as a result of what we did the other time-----"

"Shut up! Just shut up!! Did you know the gravity of what you just said, how can you be pregnant for me. Don't you know directly and indirectly you have become my mistress and which is a big sin in this Kingdom.

I can't have a second Queen not talk of a mistress, and the mistress is not anyhow lady, a servant under me. Can you view it? I am not ready to disgrace myself"

"I know everything and I understand all but I am not ready to loss my child, let's finalize everything now" Said with low voice and didn't care of anything that could happen because that was her task from heaven and Earth and by their King.

"Just leave now! I will think of what to do"

"As you said my King" She turned back and leaving the bedroom.

"What have i done to myself! What have I put myself into now" The king had felt disturbed and he was unable to sleep again.

'I too know that with this that just happened, it outcome won't be good but that is the task given to me by the heaven and earth King, and which must be carried out. So I am the first mistress' Thaniya's mother said to Thaniya.

'Why were you given that task? If I may know mother" Thaniya asked.

'There are many secrets in the palace, when you get there, they will be reviewing to you' Said and continued with the story.

It was very early in the morning of the next day. The king came out from his bedroom with a swollen eyes as a result of lack of sleeping. Since that night he was unable to sleep again just thinking. He was wearing a pure white wrapper and with a cup in his hand, putting his hand at the back.

It was all the servants that were outside and just doing their domestic jobs as they used too. The servants that were working at King's chamber were greeting the King and looking on the ground, he was just passing by their side and didn't reply them.

Thaniya's mother was at the front of the King's chamber sweeping the place with a long broomstick, packing the leaf together to different side and continued sweeping the place. The King got to where she was sweeping and standing at the front of her. She stopped sweeping as she saw him and looking at each other for few seconds.

"Good morning my King" She said after few minutes. The servant around that place was looking at them and thinking of what King could be doing with her, even if he needs a servant, it was one of his guards that he would call.

"Get me wine and put it inside this cup, just a little" Thaniya's mother collected the cup from him, looking down and with respect.

"As you said my King" Wanted to leave the place.

"I want it very fast and in my living room" Thaniya's mother didn't say anything just left. The King looked at her still she gone far and leaving the place.

'I ran to the kitchen quickly, took a new wine on the table that they used to be and poured it inside the cup. I put the half separately and took the one inside the cup to the King' Thaniya's mother stopped talking for few minutes and continued.

Thaniya's mother talked to the two guards at the door and opened the door for her. She entered straight and met the King sitting on his chair.

"This is it my King?" She put the wine down on the table at the front of him gently.

He took the wine, looked at her from head to toe and wanted to drink the wine. He stopped all of a suddenly, looked at her and smelled the wine.

"The wine is so toxic. What did you put inside the wine for me, do you want to poison me!" Thaniya's mother was so surprised and didn't get it at all.

"You try to poison me. How dare you want to poison me" The King stood up with anger showed all over him. Thaniya's mother had felt disturbed, just kept silent for few seconds and with a big confusion.

"I can't-- can't--- poison you my King! Why--- will!" She turned to stammer immediately.

"Guard! Guard!!" The King said with loud voice. The door opened within a few minutes and the guards at the door entered.

"Seize her! Take her out to the judgement ground" The two guards followed the King's order and held Thaniya's mother's two hands.

"Take her out now! You want to kill me!" The two guards bow and pulling her out from the room.

Sound of the door opened and closed, and taking her down from the corridor. All the servants and armies were looking at them.

Few minutes later. The Queen, King and others had gathered at the judgement ground, Thaniya's mother was on the floor with her hands tied with rope and looking at the King. She didn't understand what was going on at all or have any idea.

"I just want you to know that I can't poison you my King. It's better you say the true than planning------" the King didn't allow her to complete the statement.

"Are you saying that I am lying?" The king did sign with his fingers and a man whom was the armies leader then got there with one of the prisoners.

"Take this wine and drink it" He commanded the guy and gave him the wine. The prisoner collected it and drank everything. Thaniya's mother was looking at the guy and waiting for the result.

Suddenly, the guy started coughing seriously and vomiting blood. Thaniya's mother shocked and didn't know what to do again. The guy started sweating seriously in a cold weather, continued vomiting blood for few seconds and dead.

"No! No!! No!!! That is not the wine I brought for you--- that is not!" Thaniya's mother was shouting and scaring seriously.

"Are you saying I changed the wine?" King shouted.

"It's new wine I opened and poured for you my King" Saying one after the other with fear.

"So how do you want to prove this then" The Queen said with loud voice and with anger.

"Guard go and get the wine that she opened, and you go and bring another prisoner here" The King commanded the armies leader and a guard.

"Can I go with him because I trust no one now" Thaniya's mother said with loud voice.

"Will you shut up! Why are you so stupid like this" The Queen shouted at her.

"Take her along" The King said. Thaniya's mother stood up from the floor and following the guard with her hand tied and with red eyes.

The King was looking at her as she was going and with unhappy looks.

The guard and Thaniya's mother arrived back to the judgement ground after some minutes and with the wine. Thaniya's mother sat on the floor back and looking at the King. The army's leader got there with another prisoner.

"This is the wine you poured for me right?" The King asked her. Thaniya's mother looked at him and said YES with low voice.

"Good! You drink a little from it" Gave the wine to the prisoner, he collected it and drank a sip. The King collected the bottle back and looking at him.

Thaniya's mother heart had been up, looking at the guy and waiting for the outcome.

Suddenly! The guy too started coughing the same way the first guy did and started vomiting blood.

"No! No!! Something is wrong somewhere! No! This is not right at all!" Thaniya's mother shouted.

"Will you shut up you this murderer" The Queen shouted at her. And the guy had dead.

"Why did you do that you this ordinary commoner?" The Queen asked but Thaniya's mother didn't say a word just looking at the King.

"Guards! Go and lock her up in the prison still I will decide on what to do" The King said.

"Why don't you judge her now? I know that if your nephew is here he will have killed her, judge her now my King" The Queen said.

"Guards do as a I said!" Looked at Thaniya's mother and leaving the place, the Queen too followed him.

The guards carried Thaniya's mother by holding her two hands and taking her away from the judgement ground, taking her to the prison down the staircases under the judgement ground. A guard at the entrance to the prison opened the gate for them and they entered.

Met another guard inside as they entered and he was leading them to an empty cell. He brought out a key from his pocket and opened the iron door of the cell. The two guards dropped Thaniya's mother inside it with her hands tied together, and they left the cell side and going out of the prison

Thaniya's mother tried to reposition the way she was, moved her legs closer and looking.

"What just happened? I don't get it at all. It's new wine that opened by myself and poured it inside the cup given to me by the King, so what now happened or is the King that planned for me?" Talking to herself.

"Two people died as the result of the wine that I opened by myself. The King wants to kill me because I want to help him? Or what exactly is going on I want to know? What is all these!" Said loudly and with anger.

"I have to leave this place. I can't let him kill me and my unborn baby" Talking to herself when she heard a voice calling her name loudly.

"This is the King of Heaven and Earth! Don't try to escape from this place by yourself or run away. Everything is fine so rest your mind and be looking" The voice gone as he finished talking.

"As you said My King" Thaniya's mother said as she heard the voice and looking straight in the prison.

'They named you a murderer! Who planned all this?' Thaniya asked her mother with loud voice.

"The King planned the poison ticks and I know that' Her mother replied her.

'Why? Because you were pregnant for him. Is this how human beings are full of evils?' Thaniya said.

'Evil people are with good people and that is the world you are going too. So, be extraordinary careful Thaniya' Thaniya shook her head and breathe in heavily.
