Chapter 7: CH/ 07
The crowd of young students, were unbelievably surprised, to be a guardian of the royalty, however, the answer was not to Max's satisfaction, Max's expression was still annoying, The teacher looked at Max and asked, "What's wrong, you weren't surprised? Well that's a weird reaction, I usually get good funny reactions".
Max took the mic from his hand, obviously the teacher let him, otherwise he would have been dropped to the ground immediately, "My question is still not answered, I asked you how have you gotten so strong, being a guard doesn't boost your mana or is the king hiding something from us?", The teacher smiled, now the students have heard it loud and clearly, they started to use their little brains and ask too, the teacher took back the mic and answered with smiley face, "I guess we have all the time in the world now and it's not like you are all gonna get out of this room with valuable information, so let me tell you about something, the Royal family from 1000 years ago took the mana from world and erased the memories of the people's, however there was still a place were mana was still a thing and it is the royal city on the moon, you have been lied to all this time, the Mana was not sealed rather your souls had a barrier that cursed the mana from entering, but when the king destroyed the curse for you, thus your soul's curse barrier too and your power returned to you, it was always around you, you just never noticed".
The answer was too much for Max, he knew the world was under the control of the royal family but for them to even curse the soul, "How could they? They took our rights from us, the Mana was always ours and that bastard Berserk didn't grant it to us, liar", Yelled Max in anger as he charged at the teacher, the students were stunned too and when they saw Max attack, they heard him scream, "You are one of them too!", "I haven't answered your question yet".
The teacher Snapped and the ground wide opened, the students, each one by one fell to the void, in their way they screamed of fear and Max despite being far from him, he tried reaching his teacher but his hands were far from reaching him, "You were the king's Knight, but didn't act and followed their orders", all the students vanished.
[A WEIRD FOREST]
In a weird forest, full of animals and magical creatures, trees with life, waterfall going the opposite way, full of flying beats and large birds, Max and the students woke up, hearing the sound of animals killing each other, Max asked the students who were before them, "What the hell is this please, where are we?", a student with fear answered, "I don't, I just want to go home, I didn't come here to be an explorer but a Mage, a man who could cast spells and look cool", Max stood up and pushed the boy by his neck to the tree, "I didn't ask about your hobby, you stupid one, don't overreact this much, you annoy me", the student pushed Max and screamed, "Appear", waving his Wand, "Hear my command and obey me my wand, teleport, destination home".
Max and the other students, saw nothing happened, the boy himself looked at the wand was surprised, "Why isn't it working, I can't be out of Mana, I hadn't used any since yesterday, I only gathered it up...", Max thought, "No wonder I felt he is strong, he had too much Mana stored but he is a weak heart, screw him", "The teacher must have sent us here, he might want to test us-".
Max didn't finish his complete sentences and he was Interrupted by none other than the one who sent them here, above the sky of the forest before them and behind, on right and there left a square conjured itself and a face appeared on it, "Hello my dear students", Max Yelled, "It's you, why the hell did you put us in here, what do you want from us? It was supposed to be an entrance ceremony and not a test or some Bullshit".
The teacher said, "Well it's a ceremony entrance but only for 50 of you", the students were shocked, there were over 500 students, what did he mean, they start to ask questions while the only one thinking was Max, the teacher smiled and Continued, "I don't care, all I care is the 50 young talented, we only accept the best of the best, though I should have taken you all out from the beginning because you didn't know, I bet you still don't know, you are all in a magic zone", the students were shocked, "What?", "A magic zone?", "What is this", "I have never heard of it".
The teacher Continued, "The room that you are in right now is nothing more than a toilet, kind of disappointing, that you are so weak and dumb to not even know about this", Max was in shock and had no idea what to say, "I can't believe it, it slipped my mind too, I must admit, I knew of Magic zone but how could I have known anyone would know to use this, it requires and ultimate amount of mana, he was suspicious from the beginning, I should have known when he snapped, it was him controlling everything in the area", thought Max to himself.
"Now let's cut to the real deal, this world is harmful in every way possible, everything in here runs by my Mana, everything in here is made of mana so I want you to fight, fight the nature with your mana", the students were wondering, how could they fight energy, "The wild animals will come and attack you, all you have to do this fight them, survive from them until 50 of you have remained", the students were shocked at this information, "So if we kill the other students, we can survive?", the teacher who hears everything in the magic zone answered, "Yes".
The students watched as the teacher Snapped his finger and from the sky, balls made out of metal fell, "The battle begins now, you may kill the beasts of the nature by your will power, heck you can even kill each other and I will help you first myself", the teachers face disappeared Max and all other students focused on the giant balls that came down from the sky, "These people are sick, how could they let us die here?", thought Max as the crazy boy who earlier couldn't escape, charged at Max with his wand, "I will kill you first, you bastard", Max Yelled, "Stop, we must not fight but survive and get out of this place!".
Max and All the students saw as one of the Giant balls of metal hit the boy and crushed him, the scene was disgustingly ugly, Max saw the many... many... students before him getting crushed and the blood burst out everywhere, one of the balls came at Max too.
"Appear", Max's wand appeared and waving it like a sword, "Burn that which harm, fire", a fire appeared like a half-circle and cut the giant ball in half but behind it were many more that were coming.
Max heard the cries of boys and girls who were getting hit by it, so he started to act and pointing his wand at the sky he screamed, "Just like a flash you appear and vanish, please burst out and rescue us, Light of defence", Max used a spell that moves at the speed of light and cuts all the harm coming in his way and it defends a really large range.
Max looked at the students, many were dead but the few he could see, he smiled and said, "I am glad you are fine... I promise to get-", Max the poor boy, didn't even finish his promise and the few before him were suddenly attacked by various creatures, he saw their heads, legs, arm, the body being torn apart and eaten.
In a rage, Max screamed, "You bastard... you will pay for this!".
In the spectate room, where the teacher was sitting, even though he was close to them, the students couldn't see him, he started to laugh and stated, "You all are nothing but pigs to be trained and later to play with his majesty, you poor pigs".
Among the 500 students were some good fighters, one of them, was surrounded by a couple of students, "Sorry buddy, we have friends and family who wait for us outside, so we must take you out to decrease the number", "Yeah don't hold it against us, it is just the system", the boy who was surrounded answered, "Don't worry I know that feeling to be played by the system, however, I have changed my ways, I want to become stronger and do things of my own and not with the help of anybody else, you want to kill me then I... I need to protect myself by myself, Appear".
The students who were surrounding him were kind of at wonder, "What the hell is wrong with him", "Does he try to take us out?", "I don't know but be careful we must not lose even one", the boy who surrounded said to his wand, "Transform and let the mana within me use the spells of survival to slay down the demons before me, Sword", his wand transformed into a sword and the students were at shocked, they didn't know such spell.
They however started to attack, the sword-boy, started to pierce through them one after another, the last one he pierced in the stomach asked him, as the blood came out of his mouth, "Who... are you?", "Why should I tell my name to a dead man", The boy took out his sword and left to fight the beasts in the wild.
A couple of other promising students had fought some beasts and some fought each other, at the very end, Max was standing close to Corpses of students and beasts, he had no choice but to slay them, "What have I done, we go to school to become good and professionals not some murderous, the first and the last person was supposed to be grandpa...", crying slowly, "...I didn't want to become this, I was supposed to be talented in this magic world...", Max heard a mysteries voice and a touching on his shoulder, "Max don't you worry, the path we have set for you, will guide you to the truth of the world, to me-".
Max looked around and saw no one, with the crying face, "Who was that could it have been the teacher? Is he playing with me?", Max was still not sure of what he had done, another voice told him, "Move on forward, we are watching, get your revenge for the little honour and pride, that is left within you, get the head of the king for us".
Like a crazy man Max started to swing his fire wand around, "Who the hell are they? What do they want from? Could they be my parents, their souls", Max moved forward as a door opened and he heard the teacher, "Congratulations to all the 50 of you, please open the door before you and let us Welcome you properly".
"I must kill the king, I have to avenge my family, he must not get away for this, I will bring down even the moon if it is needed to kill him", thought Max as he walked out of the door.
