Chapter 7: Date and deity
(P.S.A if there is an author note on any chapter with a poll that means the result has already been decided and after revising the plot I've decided to change when Asta arrives to the same year Arthur and Tessia were born.) Anyway back to the story.)
Time-skip to 7:30pm that day
Asta and Jasmine entered the restaurant, ordered their food and had some small talk. After which, Jasmine said "Enough small talk Abel, why did you want me to meet you here ?". "I wanted to ask you a question." said Asta. "Go on." said Jasmine. "Why do you have a bad relationship with your family ?" asked Asta. Jasmine stayed silent for a moment causing Liebe to comment "You struck a nerve Asta, that's why they say curiosity kills the cat.".
Asta got nervous thinking he really did strike a nerve and was about to apologize when Jasmine said "My family has a lineage of powerful mages hence when I wakened earlier than all of my siblings they had high expectations of me. I went through various tests which showed I had no aptitude for the fire attribute, my family shunned me as a disgrace and thought of me as lesser. My family never acknowledged me as a family member and my siblings mocked and berated me for existing. I was punished on a daily basis for being lesser. Even the maids were viewed more highly than me. I was tired of living a life of misery and ran away from home when I was ten years old.".
Asta didn't know how to feel. He felt angry at himself for asking Jasmine about her family and her family for treating her that way. He also felt sad for Jasmine for having to go through such a traumatic event. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have ask--- " said Asta only to be interrupted by Jasmine kissing him. "It's fine Abel, I love you." said Jasmine. Asta was shocked but quickly recovered and said "I love you too".
After that Asta and Jasmine got pretty drunk and Asta... how do I say this... popped her cherry.(A/N so the poll results were even and I'm too afraid to write a lemon so if your wondering why there isn't any lemon that's why.)
Time-skip next day
Asta wakes up the next day, next to a naked Jasmine. Asta understandably freaks out but slowly starts to recollect his memories. After 5 minutes Asta takes a deep breath and calms down. After which Liebe comments "What happened to 'It's not like that Liebe' it seems that it is very much like that.". 'Listen, I'm already dealing with enough today, I don't need you on top of it." said Asta.
Asta went to make breakfast and woke up Jasmine. Jasmine was in less shock than Asta cause she planned to confess to Asta anyway. Breakfast was pretty quite until Asta commented "It's Asta, Abel Volt is a fake name.". "Then can I call you Asta ?" asked Jasmine. "You can, just don't call me Asta in public." said Asta. "Okay, I guess you don't trust me enough to tell me your real last name yet but that's fine." said Jasmine.
"I don't have one." said Asta. "How can you not have a last name ?" questioned Jasmine. "I'm an orphan" said Asta. "Oh... sorry." responded Jasmine. "It's fine we're dating now so we shouldn't keep secrets." said Asta. "We're dating ?" questioned Jasmine. "You don't want to date ?" responded Asta. "Never mind." responded Jasmine.
Time-skip 1.5 years
Asta has become a well-known adventurer by participating in multiple raids and taking up many different kinds of high ranked requests. Asta has been developing his mana core and has successfully broken into initial silver stage. When walking past a street Asta notices a black cat emitting a strange type of mana.
Asta followed the cat into a street where a blinding light took over Asta's eyes. Asta woke up inside his mindscape where he saw a man who had a sculpted face with platinum blond hair. He wasn't burly or muscular but his square shoulders gave him the air of a warrior, he was wearing a suit. 'Who are you ?' questioned Asta. "By my friends and brethren I go by Winsdom, to lesser beings we are known as deities. A foreigner like you may call me Winsdom."
