Chapter 14: Chapter 12: The Best Plan Ever
Not wanting to waste any time in sending both of these pieces of shit to the deepest depths of hell, where I hope the devil is waiting with his most horrific and agonizing torture pits I leap out of the tunnel and into the dim grey lights.
They both notice me as I put my left leg forward.
"How did a dog wander in here?" Dead 1 asks.
I put my left leg back.
"Hmm, I don't think my barrier would be so easily broken by a mutt." Dead 2 insults me like he doesn't look like the hunchback of Notre Dame's hideous cousin.
I build up a large amount of air into my small lungs and bow down my head steading my breath ready to release at any moment.
"Do you think we can use it as a sacrifice?" Dead 1 questions as he looks at dead 2 with a hopeful expression on his disturbingly handsome face.
[Kinda gay dude.]
Shut it.
"Hmm. A dog this undersized should be young enough to use as a small sacrifice, though it wouldn't do much good." Dead 2 tells his master as I finish gathering up all the air I can.
Prepare to die fuckers.
"Even if it wouldn't be helpful I still wanna see its insides!" He cheers as he skips over to me grabbing a small knife from his back pocket.
Too bad I'm about to turn this bastard into elementary particles.
Dead 2's eyes go wide as I throw my head forward, his book floats in front of him and he seems to cast a spell as I let loose all the built-up air right in front of me.
"WOOF!"
*BOOM*
A huge shockwave of pure power fires off from me in a cone shape and the entire place shakes and rumbles as it travels forward at high speeds. Dead 1 didn't even have time to be shocked as he was blown apart, the blood being reduced to dust and ashes as the wave pushes forward and smashes the pillars.
A dome of black mana surrounds dead 2 as all the pillars in the sewer shatter into nothing as he is blasted back into what I assume is oblivion, and I look up as I hear a cracking noise to see the roof starting to come down on top of us.
[You should run.]
YA THINK?!
Not wasting time checking to see if Caster died I rushed toward the tunnel that led me here and pieces of the roof started coming down blocking my path. I dodged to the left as a piece of concert almost flattened me and bolted forward as fast as I could.
[THIS WAS SUCH A DUMB IDEA!]
WHAT ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?!
Jumping over a large pile of rubble that fell before me I land on the ground and continue forward and see my escape right in my sights, with hope starting to bloom in my chest I speed up as much as I can. But out the corner of my eye, I see a blur of something black shooting at my escape and hit the spot right above the tunnel.
NO NO NO NO NO!!!
Some debris from the roof and wall above the tunnel falls down and blocks my path, Skidding to a halt I managed to stop right as I get up close and personal to the broken concrete that nearly crushed me.
I look back and see Dead 2 is not actually dead and standing--well not tall, but slumped over with blood running down the side of his head and his arm extended out. The fucker deiced that if he couldn't survive this then I couldn't either. What a petty bitch.
[I would probably do the same thing.]
Then it's a good thing I hate both of you.
He is then crushed by a large segment of the roof, thank god, the blood splattering on the ground below the part. I look up and see the late-day orange light shining through the hole that crushed him. There is still a chance that I get out of this mess.
[But the debris will crush you before you can make it.]
Don't be such a pessimist.
I have a plan.
[Can't be dumber than your last idea.]
Oh don't worry, this is the best plan ever.
