Chapter 3: Chapter 3

As stated, taking a day off Michael spends most of it training, working out and at the gun range before going to see his friend, Clint Gallows, whom owns a small business of tactical clothing.

Michael Monroe: You've really outdone yourself this time, Clint.

Michael greets his old friend as he walks into the shop.

Clint Galloway: You're just being a kiss ass. Not working the shop today?

Clint sits at his desk putting some finishing touches on a new tactical suit that he's been working on.

Michael Monroe: No took a day. Been working my ass off the past two weeks. I got some guys running it today. I think they can handle it alone. Hopefully.

Clint Gallows: You see, that's what I love about you, man. You're always trustworthy, but at the same time very cautious.

The two men laugh as Michael examines all the other tactical suits Clint has finished and preparing to ship off to a few military bases around the globe.

Michael Monroe: They have been pestering me to take a day. They say working non-stop isn't good for my health.

Clint Gallows: What do you think?

Clint asks, holding out the suit he just finished.

Michael Monroe: Looks like something you would see in a sci-fi flick.

Michael replies as Clint gives him a look making Michael laugh at his own joke.

Clint Gallows: Its a new suit I've been working on for the police. The ones you saw over there on the racks are for a few bases. I put the labels on them.

Clint explains as he turns off the sowing machine.

Clint Gallows: Who knows? Maybe soon, everyone will have one. With the direction this world is heading in hard working citizens will need one.

Michael Monroe: In all seriousness, I'm sure it will go great and I'm sure Commissioner Oswalt will approve of it. He's an understanding man.

Michael pats Clint on the shoulder in a comforting way.

Michael Monroe: You're doing a great thing here, Clint. Don't let anyone tell you different.

Although he planned to not go to the shop, Michael goes there anyway to work on a car he has been fixing up for the last four months after the shop has been closed down for the night.

Grunt: Sir? Got some shit here I think you need to see.

The grunt hands him a file as Roman opens it and reads through it. The file contains information on Trevor.

Roman Galloway: What does this have to do with me?

Roman asks as his employee hands him more information regarding Trevor digging up evidence on him.

Roman Galloway: Where did you get this?

A man enters the room as if already answering his question.

Roman Galloway: And who might you be?

Kendall Leigh: Officer, or should I say, former officer Kendall Leigh.

Kendall offers his hand for a hand shake and Roman shakes it.

Roman Galloway: Former?

Kendall Leigh: Yeah. They fired me for 'tampering with evidence.

Roman Galloway: Where did you get this? My apologies for the hundreds of questions, Mr. Leigh.

Kendall Leigh: Please. Mr. Leigh was my father. Kendall is fine. And I got this from an inside source. You know, the one who won't turn down a check of millions.

Roman Galloway: Interesting. Tell you what, Kendall. You've been a big help. I will pass this onto my client and he will handle this little problem.

Kendall Leigh: Oh and one more thing, he has a brother named Michael. Former Ranger NAVY Seal and sort of a bad temper. I don't know if you know this by now, but, four of your guys got a pretty good ass beating last night. They shot an employee, but didn't kill her.

Roman Galloway: Where are they now?

Kendall Leigh: I don't know. I would assume they are being held for questioning, but you know.

Roman Galloway: Thank you, Kendall. Stick around. May have some use for you.

The two shake hands again as Roman walks to the elevator and heads to the pinhouse floor, where his client is Robert Kessler, who is actually his right-hand man and goes by the codename "The Hitman."

Roman Galloway: Whenever you are finished with your yoga, Mr. Kessler, I have a task for you. One that you may actually enjoy.

Roman looks out the window as Robert jumps off the ceiling beam.

Robert Kessler: Enjoy huh?

Roman hands him the file and Robert looks it over before

closing it without saying a word. He sets the file on a table as he pours himself some liquor.

Robert Kessler: You give me coordinates and I'll make sure the job is done.

Robert tells him as Roman looks at the scars all over his body and his plain white right eye, where he has lost sight from it, a part of his past he refuses to discuss with anyone.

Roman Galloway: I know you will, Mr. Kessler. You never miss a shot and that is why I am giving this job to you.

Robert hands him a glass of the same liqour and raises his for a toast.

Robert Kessler: Give me forty-eight hours and you'll have his head on your desk, Galloway.

Robert tells him as they cling their glasses together and Robert drinks down the beverage. Roman stands at the window, looking out at the city while tapping his finger on his drinking glass.

Roman Galloway: Everything will fall into place. Soon. Real soon.

Roman mutters to himself as he drinks down his drink and sets the glass on the table before departing the room.
