Chapter 4: HER NEW ROOMMATE
"this feels good "
Raven mumbled while standing infront of her new apartment .
"let me help you!"
Raven heard a voice as she turned back and looked a girl who was a but younger than her .
"Hello? back to earth"
the girl giggled as she got a box from Raven .
"oh yeah "
Raven gave an awkward smile as she pulled her trolley with her .
"I'm Emma , your neighborhood! , mrs.cathy said me to help you fit into this new place ."
she said In a cheerful voice as she walked through the stairs.
"well I'll leave now , make yourself comfortable , your roommate will be back at eve and if you need something I'm just the next door , feel free to ask "
she gave a sweet smile again and went inside her house.
Raven got in, but this time the house looked different . It wasn't surrounded by books and stuffs , everything was organized and clean .
she went to one of the bedroom which was found empty , she assumed that this will be her new room . The bed covers were a shade of gray and blue which seemed comfortable .
She took out her stuffs and started arranging them in her closet .
Raven clapped her hands together as she completed her work , she let herself fall onto the soft mattress as she closed her eyes taking a sigh of deep relief .
Raven woke up with sound of jiggling keys . she saw the clock as it was past 7 . she assumed that her roommate was back . she has to give a good first impression as she changed herself to comfortable yet neat clothes and went out of her room .
She was met with someone who was struggling to remove the keys from the door lock . Raven went as she pulled the key with one swift movement .
"you have to turn it left "
Raven said as she handed the keys to the girl .
"oh you are here already!"
the girl cheerfully said with a tired voice .
"I'm Raven , Raven Patterson "
Raven introduced herself as she sat on the couch .
The girl just nodded as she sat down and removed her coat and mask.
"yours?"
"m-mine? ja-jane Jane Prescott "
"oh "
Raven looked at the girl , she was removing her hair braids as she was too stunned .
Jane was looking too beautiful and had a slim body , she was looking like a perfect model .
"so tell me about yourself"
Jane told as she seated comfortably near Raven .
"I'm a first year at luvana University , and I work part time at the wood carving center"
Raven told as Jane's mouth formed an "0"
"I work as a model designer "
Jane told as raven was a bit shocked .
"model designer? , I thought you were a model ..."
"well I'm trying for being a model tho "
Jane left a nervous chuckle.
"so now as we are sharing a home , we must make some do's and don'ts "
Jane told as raven nodded her head without any hesitation .
"we'll then I will take care of the laundry and house cleaning and you will take care of the cooking and washing , is that ok "
Raven didn't have any objection as she nodded her head .
"and do not enter each other's room without knocking"
Jane said as she pointed her finger.
"well that's a needed rule " Raven agreed with her .
"you look tired , fresh up , I'll make dinner "
Raven told as she got up and headed to the kitchen as Jane went to her room .
