Chapter 9: BROKEN LOVE
"Alex proposed me..."
Jane was left with shock.
"oh that's awesome , congrats sweetie"
Jane tried to sound happy as she gave a hug .
"yea , I'm really so happy Jane and thanks , you are a best sister I could ask for "
Jane smiled through her tears as gave a pat on Raven's back and pulled back
"it's late , sleep soon"
raven nodded as she went to her room.
Jane immediately got in to her room as she slid down the door and cried silently.
"Alex proposed me..." " you are the best sister I could ask for "
Jane was clutching her ears as she couldn't overcomes what just happened . she immediately went out of the apartment not even Caring to wear something apon her as she was just wearing a baggy t shirt and shorts which reached her mid thigh.
she was crying silently walking through the empty park.
"Jane?"
Jane turned back and saw Lia
"what are you doing here at this late night "
Lia asked while Jane was staring at the ground .
"Jane?"
Lia lifted Jane's face only to see her puffy red eyes and clown red nose , her face was paler .
"hey , why are you crying? are you alright?"
Jane said nothing as she fell into the embrace of Lia.
"sh-she loves - ale-lex"
Lia hugged Jane more tighter as she patted her back to which jane only cried more.
"shh that's fine"
Lia whispered in soft tone as she hugged Jane till she calmed down.
After a few minutes Jane seemed to clam down a bit . Lia pulled away from the hug .
"aish can't you atleast wear something warm when you come out ? you are gonna catch a cold " Lia said as she removed her big coat covering jane with it . they both sat on a bench as Jane was still sniffing.
"I don't have a good opinion on Alex "
lia told as Jane's eyes shed another tear.
"that's fine really , as long as she is happy , that's totally fine , I'd be the first one who is happy if I see her happy" Jane chuckled as she wiped her tears .
"but , you love her , don't you?"
Lia asked as she caressed her hands.
"she sees my only like a sister , nothing more "
Jane told as she looked up trying to control her newly building tears.
Lia pulled Jane for a side hug as Jane rested her head on Lia's shoulder.
after minutes of comfortable silence lia broke it.
"how about you stay at my place today ? it's already late and I don't think you'll be okay once you are home"
lia suggested as Jane nodded her head. she knew she won't be alright once she stepped into her house .

Raven was cooking humming a song . she hasn't been this happy since Alice left . she carefully placed all the dishes on the dining , she went to knock on Jane's door but Instead found it open . she peeked as saw no one inside .
"her room is damn messy , I must tell her to clean up " Raven mumbled as she closed the door.
"where did she go early in the morning?"
raven took out her mobile as she dialed Jane's number

."the person you are calling is not answering, please try late- " she was cut of with the voice mail .
maybe she had some important work .
Raven thought as she started digging alone....
