Chapter 10: BROKEN FRIENDSHIP
raven was walking through the pathways of her University , she was really so happy and excited to meet Alex after his confession the previous day.

raven opened her locker and stuffed her bag inside and took her earpieces and a book . she turned back and saw Alex having a bright smile on his face . thier bodies were inches apart.

" good morning cupcake "
Alex brushed the strands of hair covering Raven's face .
Raven blushed beet red due to the sudden nickname.
"good morning Alex "
Raven passed a smile .
Raven and Alex proceeded to their class as Alex suggested raven to sit beside him to which Raven agreed.
Raven was too focused in her music world untill the bell rang making her open her eyes. she saw the professor leaving the class . she turned to her side and saw Alex sleeping peacefully not caring about the outside world living in his dream world.
Raven laid on the table observing his features. In one word he was ethereal . His bangs slightly covering his thin brows . His eyelashes which were longer than Raven's eyebrows touched his cheek in a gentle way . his cheek was puffed as his jawline disappeared . his perfectly shaped lips formed a cute pout .
The only thing which Raven want's to do now was to squish his cheeks and place a kiss on his pouty lips and cuddle him all day .
Raven looked at the ring which Alex had proposed her .
she gently kissed the ring as she got up not wanting to wake Alex up . she went to the cafeteria only to be met with lia whose face seemed to be sad.
"hey lia !"
Raven sat opposite of lia who was mixing her coffee .
"hey"
Lia said in a low tone yet maintaining her expression to be cheerful.
"you know what alex-"
"he confessed you"
Lia cut her off.
"you knew!?"
Raven was shocked but still she had the pace in her tone.
"yea I met Jane yesterday , she told me "
"oh"
Raven gave a smile as she took a sip of her coffee.
"so how is it going so far ?"
Lia asked truly uninterested.
"good I guess "
Raven replied as Lia left a huge sigh.
"Raven , do you really think he is the one for you?"
Lia asked with a concerned tone as Raven gave a confused face .
"of course , why? don't you like him?"
"it's not about like Raven , just make sure that you don't get hurt later "
"what!? you think Alex will do something like that?"
Raven was mad now , she didn't expect her best friend to react like that . she thought lia will be happy but no not at all , it was just the opposite .
"I'm just telling"
Lia didn't look at raven as her eyes were glued to the table.
Raven slammed the table as she walked away.
"you are too blinded by love raven "
Lia mumbled as she saw the disappearing figure.

it's been two weeks since then raven and lia hadn't been talking.they had been ignoring each other . meanwhile Alex felt terrible because he was guilty that he was the reason for thier fight.
"coming "
Jane cooed as she turned off the tv and went to open the door .
"hey Lia"
Jane's lips immediately curved into a smile as she hugged lia tightly.
"Raven's not here "
Jane announced as she lips made a thin line .
"I know , I came here to see you"
Lia whispered as her voice was weak and muffled.
Jane immediately knew Lia was down as she didn't tell anything and took lia to her room.
she locked the door and sat near Lia in the bed.
"what's wrong?"
Jane asked in a soft tone as she caressed Lia's cheekbones.
Lia's lips started to tremble as her eyes were filling with tears .
Jane's heart skipped a beat as she saw Lia's state .
"hey you can tell me anything , you know that right?"
lia broke down as her tears fell from her eyes as Jane immediately embraced her with a tight yet comforting hug .
Lia was too weak and broken as hard sobs escaped her mouth .
Jane was worried to see such a cheerful girl crying like mad in her arms ....
