Chapter 1: I may be a god
Hi my name is Edward i'm a 21 yr old orphan living in adelaide.
I wake up from my nightmare screaming as I get out of my bed. I move over to my laptop to finish off this book I've been writing but my stomach starts to rumble so I go over to the pantry to grab some chips but much to my dismay I have none left. as i got dressed to go to the store i put my hand in my wallet with high expectations but there's only seven bucks just enough to get some. So I started walking down to the store. i see a truck flying around a corner almost hitting for a moment i see my life flash before my eyes then i see a little girl about to be hit by the truck i consider going to save her but i decide against it because i enjoy life like i ain't no hero from a fanfic that's when i feel it a sharp pain in chest i let out a loud groan i fall to the ground stunned from the pain." You know you're not a very nice person, also annoying to kill. I tried to get that truck to hit but no you dodged then I walked in front of but no you couldn't be bothered to save me" i hear as it fades to black.
I've finally been released. I think to myself then I hear that voice again screaming. I suddenly feel a jolt of electricity through my body. I wake up feeling like I could take on the world. "finally you're awake you overgrown baby". " What the hell just happened? Where am I? Who are you?". "I'm the god of reincarnation cassandra from what i understand you right fanfic correct me if i'm wrong but for the past couple of months you've been rather inactive and so your fans have prayed for you start writing again so i killed to reincarnate you in any world of your choice and whatever you do will be the new fanfic for the fans you get one wish and you'll be a multiverse hopper so once you complete a world you go to the next and naturally you will have mental defence to a certain level so what are your wish". "Well for starters I'm going to the marvel comic world and don't get cheeky with the zombie virus or anything like that. Oh yeah before I forget I have two wishes".'' You would dare make demands of me, a god one who is offering you a second chance at life, the ego". This was the first time someone had ever spoken to cassandra in such a way she had no idea how to respond to this she was shocked at first but after an awkward silence she finally agreed knowing Edward would not back down.``fine what are your wishes'' she said begrungley, 'I want the powers of doomsday' and the avatar 'fine then but know this if a powerful force gets inside you like a symbiote or knull your mental shields will do nothing, also you'll have your own pocket dimension to do whatever you want and it will bend to your will. While in there a clone will take over for you and when you get back you'll have all its memories but when something is happening it'll notify you' farewell mortal'.
The minute she said farewell I left it felt like I was in the void for an eternity as I was floating through the endless void. I saw a door of light. I figured that's where I was meant to go. I felt pulled to it. It was peaceful but then i saw it a dark figure with long white hair pale skin and he looked angered he started chasing me i could see in his eyes he wanted to destroy the very fibre of my being at first i thought this was knull or a marvel god similar but that's when i realised it i hadn't entered the marvel universe whatever this thing was it was strong and it was faster than me i was frozen with fear i could barely move luckily i was able to get to the white crack in the multiverse as i left i heard him shout "I WILL FIND YOU!!!" His voice was filled with a chilling anger. It sent a shiver down my spine.
Once I finally passed through I felt this intense pressure. I looked around and only saw darkness. I was in the womb. There was that pressure again. I heard someone say push harder skyla. I think that my father then again could have been a doctor, though about an hour later I was a beautiful baby boy. All the doctors and nurses couldn't believe it. Apparently Cassandra gave
me my ideal appearance. I look like I was the mc of an anime although I didn't have white hair or red and black eyes. I suspect once I am strong enough I'll have that unlocked as a sort of way to hide my identity. To be honest I thought she'd make me look ugly.

5 years later
I felt bad leaving the ones I left behind but my new parents loved me with all of their heart and I loved them too but I still feel guilty. I learned a lot about my family. My mother was a reporter for a city paper that wasn't well known outside of New York city and my dad's name was Toby and he was a detective. He hasn't gotten any large cases; he was only beginning after all. I found it embarrassing that I had to be lifted everywhere. Sadly I couldn't enter my pocket dimension and my powers were still dormant which sucked. one day when dad was at work mum took me out. I wasn't sure where. Even though mentally I was in my 20s my body was only 5. Once we got to our destination i looked around and saw a woman waving at us she had a little girl in her lap as we slowly walked over to her there we crossed the road but my legs started to buckle I was about to die as a car sped towards me in that moment I saw my life flash before my eyes then boom a loud earth shattering sound came from me as all my leg muscles tensed up pushing me up with the force of a nuke pushing me into the air finally my powers had been unlocked but i couldn't control them and I lacked the ability to land where I wanted to so I landed in the small crater I made with my takeoff after that the light faded and fell into the abyss
