Chapter 129: Escape From Team Aqua
Unnamed Island.
A speedboat was sailing across the sea. Twelve people stood in the boat. They were dressed in black and white stripe shirts, blue pants, and black bandanas. Spotting their leader, the driver steered the boat toward the shore.
"Captain Dave!"
They immediately saluted their leader after disembarking from the boat.
"Good," Dave nodded in satisfaction.
"Divide into six teams. Follow these footprints. I want you all to search for that Nurse Joy and bring her to me alive. Got it?" he commanded loudly.
"Yes, Captain!" They shouted.
Then, they took out their Pokeball and threw them out.

Twelve canine Pokemon appeared in front of them. They checked their surroundings carefully, and after not finding any threats, they stood in a row calmly.
Mightyena, a hyena Pokemon from the Hoenn region. Compared to the Arcanine from Kanto and Houndoom from Johto, Mightyena was much more common.
Their eyes were red with yellow sclerae with their teeth bared, making them look very scary. Their fur was mostly short and gray, but there was shaggy black fur on their lower legs, tail, and back, running the length of their body.
Mightyena was the favorite of many trainers because it had a very keen sense of smell and always obeyed their orders. A pack of Mightyena could also defeat a strong opponent with perfectly coordinated teamwork.
Team Aqua members rushed into the forest with the Mightyena in the lead. After that, they separated into six different teams to increase the range of their search.

Wailord was the final evolution of Wailord, one of the largest Pokemon in the world.

Hisoka shrugged in response. He knew the tracks he left behind must have been discovered by him. Although he had tried his best to cover up his footprints on the beach, he could not eliminate them all.
"Give her to me, and I can let you go," Dave said confidently.
"Let me go?" Hisoka sneered, "Do you think I will believe you?"
Dave shook his head and said, "Yes, I will let you go. One one condition. Kill the woman behind you and I'll let you join our team."
Hisoka fell silent at that. Meanwhile, Nurse Joy was looking at him worriedly.
"I'll give you a minute to think about it," Dave added.
"Gardevoir, Magical Leaf!"
Numerous green leaves formed around Gardevoir. She then waved her hand, sending those flying leaves at Wailord.
Even though it was large, its mass was much lighter than his Rhyperior. That meant its resilience wasn't as good as it appeared to be. It was a large target, making it impossible to avoid Gardevoir's Magical Leaf.
The leaves made numerous cuts on the Wailord as it groaned in pain due to the super effective damage.
In the end, the Wailord fell sideways into the sea, along with Dave.
Dave, who was soaking wet from head to toe, clenched his fist in anger.
"You little bastard! I swear, I will kill you!"
After being deceived by Hisoka, Dave immediately became angry as he cursed him loudly.
"Heh," Hisoka snickered, throwing another Pokeball out.
It popped open, and Milotic flew out with her signature cry.
"Milotic! Use Beam around Sharpedo!" he ordered quickly.
Hearing that, she immediately formed a silvery white energy ball in her mouth and fired it straight into the water around Sharpedo.
The surrounding water quickly froze, restraining it from chasing them. It also hit the ice when ice popped out just now.

Sharpedo screamed in pain as it jumped out of the water, revealing its entire body. It looked somewhat like a shark torpedo and had a mouth full of sharp and pointy teeth. Its eyes were full of anger at them.
