Chapter 9: impressed
Alves, annoyed to hear Bale's answer, immediately ended the call. Then, Alves tried to contact Bruce again. Bruce who had woken up didn't answer Alves' calls again.
"Doesn't he want to attend? even though I just want him to know about the development of Mr. Filipo's company.'' Alves Frustrated thought.
Bruce who had finished his shower. immediately walked out of the bathroom with just with a white towel wrapped around her waist. Then, Bruce immediately walked to the closet to get his clothes. Bruce immediately put on a casual shirt combined with blue jeans and shoes ketz is white. Bruce looks so cool, his mafia aura doesn't appear on his face at all.
Bruce immediately came out of his room, to the living room. Bruce sat on the sofa checking his cell phone.
''What? Alves called a few times?'' Bruce muttered.
Then, Bruce immediately called back Alves. ''why? so many calls? What do you need? not that I said that I would come!''Bruce snapped. and immediately ends the call unilaterally.
Alves who heard Bruce's nagging patiently took a breath.'' young man one day you will understand how much this company means to you, you can't be a mafia forever.'' thought Alves.
Finished calling Alves Bruce sat cross-legged waiting for Glen so that they immediately left for the company. Because, the time is showing at 09:00 Spanish time.
Glen who had finished wearing his clothes, Glen confidently walked out of his room to the living room where Bruce was waiting for him.
''Come on, go Alves must be angry. My cell phone has been ringing since this morning.'' Bruce said.
"Come on, which car do you use?" Glen asked as he adjusted his collar.
''Just use my mini cooper car,'' Bruce answered as he stood up from the sofa. Bruce and Glenn walked out of the Mansion towards the front yard where, Bale's black minicooper had been pulled out of the underground garage.
"Morning, sir." said Bale as he handed Glen the car keys.
''Morning, also Bale. By the way, Kevin, Bara, and Andre wake up, please tell them to go to headquarters immediately." Bruce ordered. Then he stepped into the car.
"Okay, sir." Bale replied bowing his head.
Bruce sat to Glen's right. Because Glen is driving. After making sure Bruce had his seatbelt on properly. Glen immediately stepped on the gas pedal the car was speeding high towards the Flipo company.
Finally did not wait long, the car driven by Glen arrived at Filippo's company. Glenn and Bruce got out of the car, the car keys were given to security to park the car.
Bruce and Glen walked into Alves' room, many eyes were on them, even Alves' secretary was no less amazed at Bruce and Glen.
Bruce immediately pulled the doorknob of Alves' room, where Alkves was still busy checking the report his secretary had sent him.
"Morning, am I late?" said Bruce politely.
Yes, after all, Bruce is very polite to Alves apart from they are different ages, Alves is older than Bruce. and Alves is Filipo's most trusted confidant.
"Hmm… it's a little too late. and the model is already waiting in the photoshoot. don't you want to see him?Alves teased with a wink.
Alves knows Bruce's life is always playing with women, drugs, and murder. Alves deliberately teased like that, so as not to make Bruce stiff.
"Damn it, why do you always look at me about women? Even though Kevin and Glen have lots of female numbers." Bruce denied Alves' accusations by raising the corners of his lips upwards.
"Yeah, who knows you might be tempted, that woman is very beautiful. even the solo singer Luiz had a date with him.'' Alves continued to tease Bruce.
Sandra, who was being made up for the photo shoot, kept nagging.
''Stefany! where is mr Alves? instead of a 9am photoshoot? it's already nine o'clock. However, there hasn't been any sign of Mr Alves showing up yet,'' asked Sandra. who doesn't realize that Alves, Bruce and Glen were already at the door where Sandra was getting ready.
''Morning Miss Sandra!'' said Alves with a smile.
Sandra who just realized the presence of Alves, Bruce and Glen was so surprised.Sandra's face turned red. Sandra spoke in her heart.'' Oh my God, I hope Mr. Alves doesn't hear everything I say.'' Sandra was so embarrassed when her eyes stared at me.
''Oh..morning Mr. Alves.'' said Sandra who looked embarrassed and tried to smile.
"Sorry, if I'm late. Because, I'm still waiting for my guest.'' replied Alves. while introducing Bruce and Glen.
As promised by Alves, Bruce was not introduced as President but as a friend of Alves' brother.
''Oh.. it's okay sir. it's not too late.'' answered Sandra. then stood up from his chair to shake hands with Bruce and Glen.
''Holla.. my name is Sandra.'' Sandra introduced her name with a smile.
Bruce welcomed Sandra's hand, his eyes were so sharp when he looked at Sandra. his face is so cold like an ice cube.
"Hola ... my name is Bruce." Bruce replied with a cold face. made Sandra frown and think. ''Why is there a human like him? stiff and cold? ahhh...so not in the mood.''
Unlike Glen, he is so friendly and always has charm.
"Hola.. I'm Glen." replied Glen.
Glen quickly greeted Stefani and Nabila. Glen, who had been staring at Stefani for a long time, immediately liked him. So excited.
''Hola... my name is Glen. can i have your phone number?" asked Glen confidently.
Stefany just looked down, she was so surprised by Glen's spontaneous attitude.
Nabila nudged Stefani's arm while whispering. '' Maybe he fell in love at first sight?'' Nabila teased. which finally got a sharp glare from Stefani.
Because, I don't want to be called rude Stefani politely refuses.'' I think after the photo shoot we'll just discuss the problem of cell phone numbers.'' Stefani replied.
"Okay, calm down I always wait patiently." Glen replied casually.
Bruce was just silent and listened to all their conversation. by looking around the shooting room. There is a deep longing for his parents. Yeah after all Bruce just a child.
