Chapter 54: A Misunderstanding

Trisha realized that Sophia might have misunderstood her, but she felt that the air between Sophia and Sebastian was a little tense, so she didn't explain herself immediately.

She blinked. "I don't know if I will be happy after the baby is born, but I should be."

As a soon-to-be mother, Sophia could understand Trisha's feelings. She smiled and agreed, "I feel the same."

"However," she glanced at Sebastian, who seemed amused, and said, "If the baby were born into a complete family, it would grow up very happily."

Trisha asked, "Where is your baby's father?"

Sophia smiled. She had thought about how she would explain it when someone asked her about Norman, the irresponsible father of her baby. So she didn't feel that the question was too difficult to answer. "This is an unplanned pregnancy. The baby's biological father doesn't want it, so the baby doesn't have a father now."
