Chapter 1: The Birthday Party 1
Fiorella Gates or 'Fio' as she likes being called woke up very late on Saturday. Her head was spinning on uncontrollably. She staggered as she walked towards the kitchen to get a glass of water. Her cozy little apartment was scattered beyond imagination. One would think a thief broke in. She was really wasted last night.
"D*mn" the cussed as she rubbed her temples. She really had too much to drink. She made her way back to her bed and grabbed her phone.
13 missed calls from her mother. Fiorella scoffed and threw her phone on the bed. She took off her clothes and went inside the bathroom. She closed her eyes as she enjoyed the water from the shower.
After she finished bathing, she tied a towel around her chest and brought out her hair dryer and dried her hair with it. After that, she quickly arranged the place and it went back to it's formal condition. Neat and Clean.
'Ding-Dong' her doorbell rang. A frown appeared on her face.
Most people who have their own apartment prefer to live a stress-free life. They didn't want to be disturbed neither do they disturb others. They just want it to be them and their OWN apartment.
Fiorella was one of those people. She was barely interested in anything unecessary that was going on with the world. Living in space has definitely crossed her mind a number of times.
The sound of the doorbell right now was like an alarm on a Monday morning. Hateful.
Fiorella reluctantly walked towards the door and looked through the peephole. A very familiar and similar face came in her line of sight. It was her other twin sister Evianna Gates or 'Evi'. She opened the door and gave her sister a disapproving look.
"Don't look at me like that. It's every girl for herself out there. The streets are cold sis" Evi said as she walked inside and fell on the couch.
Fio rolled her eyes.
"Two minutes, we walk into a club and the next thing I know, you're in his Maybach. I thought you were taking things slow"
"This is me taking things slow. I mean how does if matter if it's thirty seconds or two hours. I'm still getting into his Maybach." Evi replied.
"Look...I'm not you. Though we have the same face, I want to be seen and 'this' face needs to be seen." Evi continued
"Anyway, your woman has been blowing up my phone since yesterday" Evi said as she scrolled through her phone with irritation.
"Me too. Grandfather's birthday is coming up, so of course she wants the whole FAMILY to be there. After all, that is the 'motto' of the Gates family. A word that doesn't even exist in their dictionary. Evianna said as she took off her shoes and threw them on the floor carelessly. Fio felt annoyed.
"Are you going?" Fio asked as she picked on the shoes and placed it on Evi's laps
