This whole situation made him care less about his three children. As for Celia, not being able to produce a male child made her feel useless. She felt that the Heavens were unfair to her when she gave birth to Fiorella and Evianna.
Though she would never admit it, she began to neglect Fiorella and Evianna and focused on Aurelia. Since the Heavens brought them, it should care for them.
This was how she felt but she didn't want to ruin her image as a mother and took care of the three of them. Because of Celia's care, Castor also took a liking to Aurelia. Since Aurelia was the first born, she was the child they had planned for. Fiorella and Evianna were just an afterthought.
Celia and Castor focused more on Aurelia and they thought that if she became excellent, Castor's inheritance would be secure. The best of everything was given to Aurelia. As for Fiorella and Evianna, they had to manage everything that was given to them. When they were old enough, they moved out of the house and went to fend for themselves.

Later in the evening, Fiorella and Evianna went to the Gates family mansion. The party was held at the lovely garden in the Gates mansion. The place was buzzing with men and women from the upper class. Fiorella and Evianna barely knew the people that were there. They had met them in one or two functions but didn't have any relationship with them at all and neither did they want to. They only waved and smiled at the people whose faces were familiar and chatted with some for a bit. Fiorella and Evianna found a mini bar and went there.
Celia who was chatting with some of her friends saw Fiorella and Evianna having fun and excused herself from the group and went to meet her daughters.
"I would expect you to have basic manners but I feel like I'm asking too much" Celia said with contempt. Aurelia and Evianna stood silently.
"Fools" Celia said as she glared at them.
"Mom" Aurelia who was looking angelic in her white designer outfit walked towards her mother and her sisters
"Mom...please don't do this...you don't want to ruin grandfather's birthday party." Aurelia said as she comforted Celia who was already angry.
"What a surprise. I haven't seen the both of you in a while" Aurelia said with a beautiful smile on her face.
Evianna wanted to slap that fake ass smile off Aurelia's face.
"I'm happy that my sisters are here. It's rare for us to see each other at all. Anyway, have you seen father and grandfather yet?. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you" Aurelia said.
Fiorella and Evianna scoffed silently. Was she trying to get them in trouble?.
Aurelia knew that Castor never liked the both of them so wouldn't they be asking for trouble if they came in his line of sight?.
They didn't want that kind of embarrassment.
