Chapter 160: Chapter 135: Repelled
Sirin's lances erupted from the ground, threatening to skewer Adelheid. She outmaneuvered them as she had experience with dimensions with her ID create. Remembering the feeling whenever portals or dimensions get opened. Frustrating the herrscher to no end.
"You damned bug! Just die already!" Sirin launched a lance like a railgun, but Addy with the 1st gate opened could react to it quite easily. She then used white flower and made vines that held on to Sirin's feet that were enough to distract her.
"You might be strong with multiple hax, but can you use it?" Addy arrived in front of her and tried stabbing her with black abyss. Sirin parried with an ethereal hand and teleported high up in the air.
Clicking her tongue, she rained down her lances that ignore conventional durability. Pelting Adelheid with the deadly attacks.
"Aerial superiority is troublesome." The now ex-paladin grumbled and used her wings of blood to fly.
She then made javelins of blood and they floated right behind her. The two immediately went for a long ranged fight, but Addy thought she was in a disadvantage if this carries on.
So with her speed and agility, she tried getting closer while chucking the javelins right at her. And true to her arrogant nature, not learning from her fight with Nuwa. Sirin blocked them with void shields that proved to be a mistake again.
The javelins pierced right through her aegis after the 1st one that hit eroded it. And the Schariac holy blood splattered all over her body. Giving her immense pain as she started smoking like she was hit by acid.
"Argh! What in the world is this!? Damn you human!" Sirin was distracted and Addy didn't let that go to waste.
She flew to her position instantly and stabbed her with black abyss. Making her scream in pain from experiencing the powers of the 6th herrscher.
Addy then kicked her back to the ground to enter close quarters combat with a solid foothold. Sirin struggled controlling her honkai energy and she glared at the valkyrie hatefully as she gnashed her teeth. Their positions now opposite with Adelheid looking down on her.
"You would what? I couldn't hear you with you squealing like a pig." Sirin was mocked and her rage skyrocketed.
"You dare compare me to a pig!? I will show you true power mortal!" With her honkai energy awry, she decided to burn the place to ashes. Combining the strong winds of the 4th herrscher with terrible flames that threatened to burn anything to ashes.
Kilometers of land and snow was vaporized instantly and the heat was felt by the convoy far away from them.
Though with Sirin making pseudo cores of haste and desire. Her attack was weaker and Addy's Soulium suit sucked up the honkai energy greedily. She coated herself in a sphere of blood and then it exploded. Raining down the crimson liquid everywhere, making an anti honkai area around them.
"Curses! You humans and your cheating ways!" Sirin trembled with anger and bided her time, she thought that the valkyrie would inevitably lose her blood and then she will strike.
Sirin was proved wrong with Adelheid scattering blood all over the sky. Befitting her moniker of the blood raid empress.
"You have no power here herrscher, humanity will reign supreme. As we have for thousands of years. Taste god's wrath, Megiddo!" The little, dense droplets of blood started raining down and Sirin paled. She would be turned into swiss cheese if she didn't do anything after all.
So with her new powers, she created physical shields instead of her void aegis. A thick wall of steel appeared and she hid behind it. The construct was battered by the thousands of attacks, but it held long enough for her to plan something.
She vaporized the accursed blood in the surroundings by superheating it with flames. Lightning then glassed the ground, effectively taking away the anti honkai blood.
"This is nothing, your petty tricks won't work forever human." Sirin got confident, but she was not a master of combat and forgot the environment. She might have received the 1st herrscher's knowledge, but using it in combat was another.
The blood turned into an aerosol and she breathed in the holy blood. Making her drop down to the ground in agony as her lungs burned with immense pain. Her eyes widen as she noticed it, but it was late.
Addy combined abyss flower again and coated it with her blood. "Fairest Schariac, maiden of the world. Purest of heart, your beauty eternal." The lance turned blood red and Sirin's 6th sense was alarmed to the max.
"Goodbye, Sirin. Forgive me, Lilium Sangiuneum. Fly true, abyss flower." And before the lance could launch itself. Bella appeared, covered in injuries and tackled Adelheid with as much speed as she could muster.
"My queen! Escape now! Leave me behind!" The loyal servant shouted and Sirin looked at her one last time with a heavy frown before teleporting away.
Addy clicked her tongue and looked at Bella that was panting heavily. "You will not give chase until I draw breath!" She squared up and would sacrifice herself until Sirin could escape.
Adelheid's steps tapped onto the glassed ground and Bella thought it was a fitting end for herself to die for her queen's life.
"Oya, oya. We can't have you killing our little pet now can we?" Fuxi appeared and Adelheid almost had a heart attack when she saw the legal loli.
'Fuxi? So she's alive as well... But what does she mean pet?' Addy stared at her and looked at Bella. Fuxi nodded and gave a smile, her sleepy expression opposite to the pressure she was emitting.
"Ahh, I'm glad you can catch on quick. We will be taking her, how about you take care of the pseudo herrschers? They're wrecking cities you know? We've protected these lands for thousands of years. It's time you guys lifted your own weight." Fuxi yawned and went up to Bella.
The honkai beast didn't resist and meekly got itself carried by Fuxi that was relatively smaller. As she thought resisting was futile. 'Go on my queen, destroy as much of humanity as you could before these monsters get a hold of you.' She prayed for her queen's success and closed her eyes.
"Bye then." Fuxi waved lazily and walked back to their tent, confusing Addy on why Bella was so meek. She didn't know that Nuwa beat them up and Bella thought Fuxi was as capable.
"Weird... But I guess that's that. She's right though, humanity would fall if we follow the previous era. The combatants of the flame chasers are much much stronger than even me, but they still lost. I have to support Theresa's plan, this is just the start of the end." Addy flew to the closest city that was being attacked, Oulo Finland. As Ottilie would take care of the pseudo herrscher in Russia. And the city of Novosibirsk would have fallen already.

In one of Aesir's hotels, Cecilia was having trouble putting Kiana to sleep as the room they were in have a home theatre that is also a game room.
Kiana was playing like a hardcore gamer and it was distracting the little girl from her father's absence.
Cecilia sighed and thought that the room was the most luxurious thing she has experienced. But her kid was being too occupied by games. "Hah, Siegfried is really needed for this kinds of times. I can't get myself to scold her for playing."
She then got a call from someone surprising. Adelheid. "Cecilia, how are you and Kiana doing?" She greeted and Cecilia was happy that her sister called.
"We're fine, except Kiana is going ham on the game room. Do you know when Siegfried is coming back Addy?" Cecilia was worried about his mission on the moon.
"Don't panic Cecilia... I'm actually a rogue right now, that's why Ms. Vill-v offered you sanctuary in Aesir. I've broken my ties with Schicksal, I'll probably go to AE or Aesir after we handle the 2nd herrscher." Addy said nervously as Cecilia went wide eyed at her words.
"For real? What in the world was going through your head? You know the overseer would do anything to get you back, alive or dead. You're the strongest valkyrie in history." Cecilia frowned and thought that's why they were taken from the Kaslana residence in Schicksal.
"Hehehe~ You know that we're just tools there Cecilia. Kiana would be at the mercy of Schicksal too once she grows up. This is perfect timing, we have the support of Spiral workshop too. And Schicksal cannot do anything to Aesir or they will be buried 6 feet under. Saying that they're a global superpower is an understatement." Addy remembered Kallen's level and Sushang's prowess that could not be compared to anyone.
Cecilia sighed and just nodded. "I guess, so we will be with AE or Aesir? This just got complicated. We don't even know if Aesir would accept us mooching on them. AE would gladly take us in though. They could use all the help they could get."
Addy agreed, thinking that Vill-v just got them to safety in a whim and to show Schicksal who's boss. "Remember Cecilia. No matter what happens, never take Kiana with you to anywhere near Schicksal." She thought of K-423 and it was better to not open that bag of surprises.
"Un, goodbye Addy. Take care alright? I know you won't get taken in by Schicksal, but be careful still." The call ended and Cecilia sat on a couch. Massaging her temples from the headache that was coming.
"Mama! Someone is here!" Kiana called and Cecilia didn't hear anyone enter. But her daughter was excited. Though she still rushed in and saw Nuwa with Griseo.
"Nyanpasu~" Nuwa raised her hand and Griseo imitated her.
"Ahhh, hello... Griseo-chan, who is your companion?" Cecilia was relieved it wasn't anyone from Schicksal, but she was curious on who Nuwa was.
"Un, otaku NEET Nuwa." Griseo said with an expressionless face. Making Nuwa grasp onto her chest, receiving damage.
"Nee-chans! Let's play!?" Kiana pointed at the game and it was Mario Kart.
"Wellll... Ein didn't say anything about me getting invited, so this should be fine right?" Nuwa looked left and right. Slowly grasping a controller.
"I guess." Griseo got a controller too and they played multiplayer. Cecilia smiled and thought them playing was wonderful.
"Ein will still hear of this later, NEET." Griseo said, Nuwa cringed and thought that if she was getting punished. She would play to her heart's content. She then thought she was forgetting something.
"Eh, if I forgot about it. Then it isn't that important." They then locked in their characters and started playing.

At Yellowstone base. Siegfried arrived and gave Tesla a case of the Soulium he gathered. Tesla received it and hugged it tightly, she then cried on the ground. Making Emma and Nancy hug her.
Siegfried then entered the base and rested for a bit. Thinking of Welt's sacrifice that made him turn his back on the Kaslana oath.
The T.V. Then told the news of disasters happening in different parts of the world. "That must be the 2nd herrscher! I must save my family!" He took his coat and was about to travel. But Lieserl stopped him.
"Wait, Mr. Kaslana. We've analyzed some of the data in the Soulium you've gathered. And we've decrypted some strange data. This may be connected to your ancient house of Kaslana. And don't worry about your family, they're within Aesir. Any building of Aesir is an impregnable fortress, I assure you." Lieserl had a tablet in hand and gave it to him.
Siegfried sighed in relief and looked at the data.
"MANTIS? What does that mean?" Siegfried was confused and Lieserl smirked.
"That means that you would be a major player in this war Mr. Siegfried, more than you think you are." Lieserl swiped the tablet and Siegfried was surprised on what that entailed.

Thanks for reading everyone. The Schariac holy blood is actually insanely OP. Cecilia was just limited by her own body in canon. Adelheid would actually lose by a large margin without her suit. Anyways, ciao
