Chapter 6: Chapter 6

When the next morning rolled around, Leo left the inn with Sicily much to the surprise of the owner. He didn't know when she came, but didn't say a word due to it being his guest business and not his. The two had some shopping to do before finding a carriage and signing her up as an adventurer before leaving for the next town.

While walking through the streets, Sicily drew a few eyes due to her beautiful looks and blue hair. There were even a few whistles at her, but that was about it. Most didn't tend to go out of their way to pick a fight or attempt to use pick up lines on her.

"The clothes here don't look very comfortable." Leo commented as they passed by a few shops glancing into the windows or stalls.

"You're not wrong," Sicily replied as she looked at some underwear. "Not to mention most are the same, but different prices depending on who is selling."

"While I am not really bothered by it, what are we going to do about the lack of underwear and clothes?"

"Should we enter a dungeon or hunt down some monsters?" Sicily answered surprisingly. "They should drop treasure on occasions."

"That is true, but since I never got one in the two years in the forest I forgot about that."

"That's because you have to put your hand on the monster and say "harvest". The higher the collector skill the better the chance of a drop."

Leo rubbed his chin as he listened. He wondered what kind of drops he could gain from harvesting all the corpses in his storage. Will there be some sexy underwear he could have Sicily show off with an embarrassed face?

"Now that problem should be taken care of for the moment. Shall we move onto our next goal?"

"Do you even need a weapon?" Sicily asked.

"Not really, but maybe we will find a hidden treasure. Besides, don't you need one?"

A small red tint coated her cheeks as Sicily looked to the side. "Not for the moment. The system also provides beginner weapons when it summons us. It is currently stored in my breast storage."

Leo's eyes soon flickered down towards her breast when she mentioned this. While he didn't mean too it was just men's nature. Not that he didn't take a few glances here and there beforehand.

"You're not going to bust out a huge sword twice your size from there are you?"

"No, my breast storage isn't that big and my weapon fits my job. It is a scepter that boosts my healing by ten percent and lowers the magic cost by three percent."

"Oh, not weak but also not strong. It really is a beginner tool."

Tossing his hands behind his head as they continue chatting as they walk. They soon found a weapon shop and entered. Only, they were soon tossed out as a large burly man stood in front of the door with his arms crossed.

"Weaklings aren't allowed inside." The man's deep voice angrily said.

Scratching his head Leo just shrugged, he could easily tear down the shop. Only judging the weapons he could see from the door, none of the weapons appealed to him. So if the owner didn't want to do business then it is not really a loss on his part.

Sicily on the other hand was furious at being tossed out. She grew up happily and within a noble family so she never was treated this way. It also left a sour taste in her mouth since if Leo couldn't even enter then no one should be qualified.

"Let's go find another shop, Sicily. From the door the shop is just filled with junk and fancy looking weapons that look like it will break from a little use." Leo pulled her away.

"Aren't you angry at being called weak?" Sicily asked.

"It's not that I'm not angry, but the weapons inside don't look worth the trouble needed to enter. If I guess that shop is geared towards the rich and nobles." Leo explained. 'Similar to high end sport car dealerships and Rolexes in my previous life.'

Thinking about it, Sicily felt he was right even if the weapons she saw were no different than scrap metal in her opinion. While she may have a small bit about weaponry, it was more directed to what the weapon is called, and not if it was good or badly made. Then she thought about it again.

"Aren't you also rich? Your gold from selling the goblin knight armor made you quite wealthy." Sicily answered.

"I guess so, but is there any point in needing so much? I could easily amass a fortune rivaling even the riches in this country by selling a few corpses." Leo replied. "Plus, while you were sleeping I gave out most of my money I had to some families that looked like they needed it."

"Wait, you did what?" Sicily stopped as a chilly air began to surround her. "You mean to tell me that you gave away over five thousand gold coins in a few hours."

Rubbing his chin, he thought about the amount he gave out before nodding. "I kept around a hundred gold coins, so you won't go hungry."

Pulling out a large scepter, it was a large white rod that was a few heads higher then her in height. With three gold rings near the top, a large bluish white gem was imbued on top. However, before Leo could look closely, he felt it was getting strangely closer to his head.

"Ah, what are you doing?" Leo shouted as he stepped to the side.

"Worry not, I am just knocking some common sense into you."

While it took over an hour for Sicily to calm down. It was decided that Leo shall not be in charge of the money from now on. Instead, he will be given an allowance from now on.
