Then, about 10 people from the crowd stepped back and left, it seemed that they thought they could have just cried their way in at the sect, but now at the threat of death they stepped back.
Chu Yao nodded and said," The remaining 50 of you, get on at any crane that has space, we will move to the sect now. I am sorry but you cannot say your good-bye's if you have not done so, but you will be able to come back to meet your family after becoming an inner-disciple in the sect."
For most people, it might not have been possible, but for some, mostly Jiang Chen, it wouldn't even take a couple months, so we will be back here soon.
As we entered onto the cranes, I could see Chu Yao giving me a look, almost one of…pity? I didn't know why, but it seemed like she pitied me.
As we got on the crane and left City A, we moved slowly towards the Fire Fist sect.
We passed by hundreds of mountains and forests over the next 12 hours.
We flew at the top speed of the Nascent Soul Realm beast for 12 hours, that's probably thousands of miles away from City A.
We eventually reached what seemed like a massive mountain, and flew straight through it.
It was then, a wonderful sect was revealed to us, the Fire Fist Sect.
After we passed the formation, I used my skill to identify it.

'Of course it is going to break soon.' I thought as I looked at the formation.
It is super cliche after all.
There probably is some backstory as well, how the Fire Fist sect used to be a first rate sect and got dropped down, and according to the cliche troops, the current sect master should be 1 realm lower than this formation, so maybe at the Divine Lord realm? If there is a realm called that.
Anyway my goal right now is to break through into the Foundation-Establishment Realm as soon as possible.
From what I know from Chu Yao, when she explained this to everyone, the Core-Disciples and Elders have a cultivation base of Nascent Soul Realm, so if I can reach the Foundation-Establishment Realm, I can manipulate them.
Well according to her there are special cases where a Peak-Elder takes a Disciple and they automatically become a Core-Disciple.
A Peak-Elder, an Elder of 1 of the 12 Peaks, with a cultivation base of around Peak Nascent Soul Realm, according to her, this is all common knowledge we will learn in the sect.
The Sect Master has been in seclusion for the past 200 years, so it has been a while since someone has seen him.
"Now, I don't know if you guys know the cultivation levels beyond the Qi-Condensation Stage so let me tell you about them. There is the Foundation-Establishment Realm, Qi-Mansion Realm, Core Formation Realm, Nascent Soul Realm, and then there are the Divine realms which you don't have to worry about right now. In the Inner Sect, the minimum cultivation base is the Qi-Mansion realm so I would recommend you to reach there first, as only when you reach the Inner Sect can you learn Martial Arts and more methods to quickly increase your strength. The people in the outer sect are mainly used for chores."
As soon as she was done, the cranes landed and all 300 of us got off.
She then led all us to a central hall where what seemed to be an elder was there.
Over there, there were even more people already going through a sort of test.
"For those of you who have just arrived, pick a line and line up there and get your talent tested, if your talent is 3 or above, you will have the opportunity to meet with some elders in front the 12 pillars, if you are lucky you might be able to move to the inner sect directly."
I knew one thing for sure, Jiang Chen and I would move to the Inner Sect directly.
Our talent number is at 5 after all, if a core-disciple has a talent of 6, they will surely take in a 5.
At first, Jiang Chen did not want to take the talent increasing pills, saying some bullshit about how he doesn't need it, and it is useless to him and won't help in his cultivation at all.
Maybe it is true for him, for some reason, talent doesn't matter and his cultivation technique hard carriers him, I still want him to move to the inner-sect with me, can't have my pill slave *cough* friend not near me now can I ?
Anyway, we waited for about 20 minutes in separate lines and eventually got our turn.
What I realized through this wait is that a talent of 1 or 2 is common, and there were only a couple of tens who got 3 talent so far, no one got more than that.
I turned to my side and realized that Jiang Chen and I were doing our test at the same time.
It was surely his luck in play somehow.
I then used the identity on the rock in front of me.

The look on the elders face…was shock to say the least.
