Chapter 17: Chapter 16: New title.
"Huh? Throne?" Nader questioned and, as expected, no one answered him.
Not caring about that for now, he sat down on the ground and placed the unconscious Yue on his lap while inspecting Yue's body with his spiritual senses.
"The condition of her body is normal, but... she has become stronger" Nader murmured and put a blue potion on Yue's lips.
The potion was, of course, a mental recovery and energy potion.
"Well, this is what would happen..." muttered Nader.
The potion, he had put in Yue's mouth, had once again spilled out of the corner of her lips.
Sighing, Nader took another potion out of his Storage and popped it into his mouth. Then, without a second thought, he placed his lips on Yue's soft lips.
Soon, the blue liquid ran down Yue's throat without difficulty.
However, Nader's earlier concern had turned out to be unnecessary, as Yue really wasn't mentally exhausted...
"Mmgh?" Yue's eyelids suddenly fluttered open. She saw that Nader's face was so close to her face.
Only after a few seconds, did she realize that he was kissing her.
"Oh, are you all right now? I guess it's true that the prince's kiss can wake up the sleeping princess." Nader joked as he wiped the blue liquid from his lips.
On the other hand, Yue's heartbeat increased and pounded furiously in her chest as her face began to color red.
Yue simply stayed rooted in place as she looked at Nader's seductive lips.
"Are you all right, Yue?" concerned, Nader asked because he hadn't felt any reaction from her.
"Mmm... I'm fine, besides... I feel like I've gotten stronger" Yue replied while still feeling Nader's lips on hers.
Despite being focused on Nader's earlier kiss, she could feel that her body's strength had increased.
"~Sigh, that's good...". Nader nodded, relieved.
Even though she knew that he had only kissed her to get her to take a potion, it didn't take away from the fact that they had kissed, but after seeing Nader's indifferent face, she felt a little disappointed.
She shook her small head and asked, puzzled, "...what had happened?"
All she knew was that she had suddenly lost consciousness when she had been gleefully sucking Nader's blood, however, when she had woken up, she had felt that her strength had increased by a large margin.
She could even feel a warm sensation in an unknown place inside her that connected her to Nader.
Nader shook his head and replied, "I don't know exactly either. However, it's pretty sure it's related to my blood. Although from what she told me, there shouldn't have been anything wrong with you."
"... I feel like I'm one with you..." Yue squirmed in Nader's lap, she felt a bit awkward for not knowing how to mention the strange but special feeling she felt.
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Nader asked, a little puzzled.
'She won't think that by kissing her we've already become one, right...?' He thought as he looked at Yue's blushing face.
"... Ever since I woke up, I feel a strange feeling inside me" she muttered and looked at Nader's eyes.
Nader wrinkled his eyebrows and began to inspect Yue's body again.
But again, Nader found nothing strange.
Then, he stopped inspecting Yue's body and inspected his own body.
A few seconds passed, and he opened his eyes in surprise.
He felt that a part of his essence was linked to Yue's soul, and a part of Yue's essence was connected to his soul.
Apparently, this was caused by the strange anomaly that had happened earlier when the system notified Nader about the birth of a new Throne.
That would also explain the sudden increase in Yue's strength.
Nader looked Yue in the eye and said, "Wait a bit, I'll check something."
Yue simply nodded in agreement without taking his eyes off Nader.
Immediately after, Nader executed his system inspection option and a red panel appeared in his field of view.

As Nader had thought, Yue's stats took a big jump in all his parameters.
But what had surprised him most, however, were the stats in percentages. No doubt it would be extremely useful as Yue's stats increased.
Feeling curious about the word Throne, he focused on its title, and soon, a smaller panel appeared in his field of vision.
[Throne.
Description: A title given only to those who have accepted you completely and wished to be with you for all eternity.
Thrones are what is closest to the Celestial in body and soul. They have the sole function of existing to assist the Celestial.
- To bestow the title Throne, you must give to drink your Celestial blood to the being who has accepted you.
- The essences of both will be signed in your respective souls.
- The title grants its bearer +20% of the base stat.
- The throne title can be upgraded to give more benefits].
'Huh, Yue accepted me, what do you mean by that?' Nader questioned inwardly.
'But how? She doesn't even know me well enough, maybe she likes me? But then again, we only met a few days ago.' He continued and rubbed Yue's head unconsciously.
Before this, he hadn't thought about a relationship closer than a few friends, but after this, he knew that even though he wasn't in love with her yet, sooner or later it would happen.
This led him to think about whether his years of torture had been just a joke, after all, he had been through, it wouldn't be strange if he became a villain or something. Yet here he was, thinking seriously about the relationship he might come to have with Yue.
'Maybe my sanity didn't break down because of my high mental defenses?'
That was the only thing that came to his mind as he thought deeply about why his mind was so calm and without broken thoughts.
Of course, his old worldview had completely changed. If it was before, he would not hesitate to help everyone he encounters in his path; however, in this new life, he had not even cared about the backstory of this world, which completely constricted his previous personality.
Feeling that he was getting off the initial topic, he sighed deeply.
'Well, we have enough time to confirm her feelings.' He said in his thoughts.
'Mmm, for now, the title only has one plus. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued by what would happen with the updated title. Unfortunately, my knowledge of it is nil...'
Nader shook his head and closed his system panel, as he added a mental note to ask Levana about this later, as she should know all about it.
"Is something wrong?" Nader asked as he watched Yue's seductive face. It was as if she wanted to eat him.
"Nader, you are so delicious...". She said as she licked her lips.
'Where did that come from?'
"Oh? Is that so?" said Nader under the piercing eyes of Yue, who was staring at his neck, "~Sigh, okay, you can continue where you left off. The previous anomaly should no longer happen now."
Nader was sure she was still hungry, after all, she had only sucked a little blood from him before she lost consciousness.
As if Yue's expressionless mask was just a sham, a bright, radiant smile made an appearance on her face before pouncing on Nader and burying her fangs in his neck.
As Yue sucked the blood happily, Nader was thinking about how bewitching Yue's smile was.
Even though Yue had the appearance of a young girl, it didn't take away from the fact that she was much older than him. Since Nader had only been 18 when he was taken to the torture room, added with his seven years of torture, in total, he would now be 25 years old.
He stopped thinking about irrelevant things and ignored Yue's constant moans of happiness.
He rubbed her golden hair and the fluffy fur of his pet, who was snuggled close to him.
