Chapter 72: Ch 70 – God Tree Acquired
Within a certain planet with crystal clear, light blue water, continents colored lush, verdant green or dark emerald, a war could be seen ongoing on one of its continents as the clouds swirled and the skies parted ways from the miraculous abilities presented by the two main forces in the battle.
The larger group has the appearance of apes, having bodies more than ten meters in size and stone-like fur that grants them strong defense their eyes were colored a light gray that shines with power, their arms reach the tip of their legs, and have a muscular body.
On the opposite of them, a group of pale white humanoid beings could be seen wearing snow-white robes that covers their whole body. The special thing about them was their eyes, the majority of them have pale blue eyes with veins running through their forehead and the side of their eyes, the others have crimson red eyes having pinwheels within them, and a few have what looks like higher tiers of the previous two eyes and the majority hold light blue eyes that have a flower motif in the middle.
But there was a group of five in the middle of the strange army that have purple eyes that has violet rings, their aura seemingly holding deep power that gave them an overbearing feeling for the majority of the stone-like apes.
"We can do this! We can't let them plant a new God Tree! This planet has a large amount of Natural Energy, if we give it to them, they'll most likely produce more than two Tier 4 Otsutsukis!" the largest stone ape shouts, his eyes gleaming and turned into slits.
"ROAR!" the other apes responds, their auras exploding outwards as their eyes also turned into slits.
"Tsk, those annoying Sages attacking like always. Everyone, protect me while I plant the God Tree!" a female Otsutsuki shouted who has a golden-colored Rinnegan instead of the normal purple, and it seems like she was an important figure as everyone in the Otsutsuki army nodded their heads.
Even though they numbered in the hundreds and the Sages numbered in the thousands, they were confident about their victory with five Tier 3 Otsutsukis behind them.
"Hai!"
With the two armies now riled up, they rushed against one another at rapid paces, the Sages wielded Sage Chakra while Otsutsukis wielded their powerful eyes of mystical nature.
Some Otsutsukis transformed into gigantic constructs of Chakra, in return, some stone apes enlarge to a ridiculous degree to contend with the chakra constructs.
Others shoot out elemental attacks, transform the area around them, create floods, and change the weather.
The Otsutsukis then used their eyes to respond, by creating barriers of space, illusions, create special flames, ice that made the surrounding air into liquid, and more.
"Sage Art Fire Release: Fire Inferno!" one stone ape larger than most shouts, rushing straight towards the golden-eyed Otsutsuki and shooting out an inferno of red flames out of its mouth.
"Foolish monkey!" a purple-eyed Otsutsuki appeared out of nowhere, stretching his arms out and the ape watches his attack transform into pure chakra for the Otsutsuki to use.
But without any warning, a stone ape the size of a pebble appeared right beside the purple-eyed Otsutsuki, and out came a stone fist the size of a boulder, punching the purple-eyed Otsutsuki in the face.
"Sage Art Wind Release: Vacuum!"
"Sage Art Earth Release: Earth Coffin!"
As two simultaneous Sage Arts were used, the purple-eyed Otsutsuki got encased in a vacuum and a barrier of earth that came from the ground.
"DIE!"
But out of nowhere, an attraction force suddenly grab ahold of the two gigantic apes and they saw another purple-eyed Otsutsuki appear from nowhere, her eyes were actually colored indigo.
"Sage Art Lighting Release: Heaven's Wrath!"
As blue lighting suddenly struck from the sky and came crashing down to the indigo-eyed Otsutsuki, the two apes were released from her grasp and hastily went through a series of hand seals.
"Sage Art Fire Release: Flamethrower!"
"Sage Art Wind Release: Vortex!"
"Sage Art Lighting Release: Thunder Beam!"
As three attacks shoot out in tandem in a straight line toward the paralyzed Otsutsuki, a hand suddenly appeared from the ground and they saw all their attacks got absorbed through the pair of dark purple eyes on the hands causing their tongue to click.
Similar situations happened all around the battlefield, chaos and order were one and the same in this type of war. Others could focus on a single enemy while support could come out of nowhere, why would somebody just let their teammate die when they can help them.
But as time went on, the situation started to become grim for the Sages, they lost chakra while the Rinnegan-wielding Otsutsukis received their chakra and continued to protect the golden-eyed Otsutsuki who continued to plant the God Tree to the ground, and as their deaths piled up on the battlefield, it continues to favor the Otsutsukis.
"Tsk, it seems like I'll have to do a suicide attack to kill that seedling, if not, they would gain powerful members in return!" the biggest stone ape muttered causing the other stone apes to look at him in shock.
"You shouldn't do it! What if you damage your soul, we would still need you on other planets!"
"But if they win, we would get more loses in the long term!"
As the leader was about to rush and do a suicide attack to kill the God Tree, a large pillar of red light suddenly appeared in the middle of the battlefield where the majority of the Sages and Otsutsukis fought, killing more than a hundred in a single instance.
"God Tree spotted," a voice rang in their ears which made their stomach drop.
"SHIT!" both forces cursed their luck, for the gigachad Demilaxian Empire has now entered the scene.
Soon, they saw a swarm of black, metallic particles gather in the air to form five Demilaxian AIs in the air, each of them filled to the brim with an absurd amount of Chakra and having strength that could hurl mountains with one arm.
As the leader of both armies took a split glance at each other, they instantly came to a tacit agreement, for they both knew that this Demilaxian Empire has been growing overbearing throughout the galaxy, more so than what they deemed acceptable.
"Everyone! Attack the Demilaxians!" both leaders shouted and the armies soon followed through with their order, for they all knew this Demilaxian race was even more ruthless than the Otsutsukis, willingly destroying planets to gather resources, killing billions without a second thought, growing at a rate that made their eyes widen due to their AI army, and that's not even the worst part, the AI army was not the strongest part of their race, for they both knew that the Demilaxians have gained the power of the Sages and Otsutsukis.
An onslaught of elemental attacks soon shoots toward the five Demilaxian AIs, from their previous experience, too many attacks would allow them to actually hit the Demilaxian AIs instead of them just dodging like usual.
But this time, an unexpected outcome appeared.
"Initiating Rinnegans," as the five AIs announced, their eyes suddenly turned purple and had black rings around the middle which made all of them have their heart skip a beat.
As all of their chakra attacks got absorbed by the five Demilaxian AIs, the Sages sensed the Natural Energy swirl towards the AIs, and their heart soon got eroded in fear and despair.
"Group Attack: Gravity Domain."
With a loud boom, all the stone apes and Otsutsukis found themselves stuck to the ground and couldn't move.
"Group Attack: Soul Severance."
Without even a second passing by, the Otsutsukis and Stone Apes let out shrill screams and their souls were severed from their bodies, though the Stone Apes were peculiar as their souls were incomparably small compared to the Otsutsukis even though they wielded generally the same amount of chakra.
As the thousands of souls and soul shards enter their bodies, the five AIs drop down to the ground while the gravity returned to normal, the God Tree now could be seen lying on the ground in the distance.
"God Tree acquired," one of the AI crouched on the ground and reported.
Now that the AI have successfully retrieved the God Tree, they all floated back to the sky and towards the invisible large chunk of metal in the air, the hull then opened and they flew through it appearing inside the ship.
"Calculating data… The world is deemed suitable for living," the ship silently uttered, its body floating through the solar system and flying towards the other planets orbiting around the sun.
Parking right beside a barren red planet, the lights of the ship soon started to beep.
"Calculating data… The world is suitable for extraction, extraction process begins."
As a large horde of black swarms erupts from the ships, the whole barren red planet got enveloped in the black metallic swarm and got devoured whole, turning into pure materials that can be used for later purposes.
Continuing that process, the swarm soon grew to a large amount and destroyed the other planets in the current solar system, extracting the raw materials from those celestial bodies.
The Demilaxians decided to do this, as even though their Celestials could indeed create planets, it would be just too time-consuming at their current stage of progression.
With the last, unsuitable planet turned into a part of the black swarm, the black swarm returned to the ship and became much larger than before, more than ten times its previous size.
"Protection of the God Tree, 99.999999…..185% assured, initiating return back to headquarters."
As chakra funneled throughout the whole ship, a void-black portal soon formed in front of it the size of multiple planets and the chakra usage was just palpable, a level not even Tier 4 Otsutsukis could hope to use willy-nilly.
As the ship disappeared from the solar system, Zurik could be seen sitting within the black void while multiple translucent screens surrounds him from all angles, his eyes constantly darting multiple screens each second.
"A God Tree is finally acquired after more than a century since we started our galactic conquest," Zurik mutters, the world around him seemingly halting as he closes his eyes.

Almost a century has passed since the Luxan incident and the Demilaxian Empire has grown tens of times faster than before, our ruthlessness has allowed us to grow without restriction.
We don't fear becoming enemies against the Otsutsukis and the Sages due to our true power, the power we have been showing to outsiders is only the tip of the iceberg.
At our current stage, even a single AI could split a planet in two by using a Rinnegan, chakra, and natural energy in tandem. But with the God Tree, we would be able to finally start our research on it and perhaps even mass-produce Chakra Fruits, now even a baby Demilaxian could wield planetary-level of power if the research goes well. Perhaps in the future, we'll even be able to create custom eyes or mystical body parts that hold more potent abilities.
My Mangekyo ability is already ridiculous, an absurd power that should be impossible. But I desire more, my ambition is beyond a puny galaxy, my desire goes toward the infinite multiverse and carve out an empire multiversal in scale!
A scale befitting of our benefactor Freidrich Braun!
But in the last century… we have also encountered the absurd ability of his angels.
An incident occurred where a Tier 4 and a group of Tier 3 sneak attacked one of our space camps and if they were successful, they would have killed more than ten billion Demilaxians.
But once that angel draped in blue light appeared… I was just in pure awe.
A single flick from its finger and the Tier 4 Otsutsuki got eradicated from existence, his soul gone from reality from just a simple command from the Angel.
That power… I wanted it for myself, I want to be more than an angel to Freidrich Braun!
I want to be someone he would consider reliable, someone he could entrust his life with! I want to stand by his side throughout the multiverse, his right-hand man! And to achieve that, I'm more than willing to kill billions upon billions of lives in the future, for does life truly have value in the infinite multiverse?
