10 years have passed since God spoke to the world

Jonathan is now 26 and has been training steadily for the last 10 years for the supposed upcoming war though people do not take it seriously and believe that God told them that to mess with them.
Nations have begun to function again and many people who had received an ability received one that was useless and so normal living had returned except for a few people who formed guild of growth aimed at gathering people who had abilities in one place to prepare and aid the world Jonathan's ability was a rare one not many people had
many people could only achieve growth through training on Earth but he could "switch"
to other worlds.
During the last 10 years, he began to work for the military due to his immense power. His Sergeant Levi was a strict man who trained him competently. He worked on aiding the military in missions and completing tasks for them but on his 8th of being with them, he was relieved from duty.

During that time he made a friend called Jackson.
"Jackson during my term in service I would not have enjoyed it as much as I did without you being my friend so thank you," Jonathan said smiling at Jackson.
"You shouldn't thank me for being your friend I'm your friend because I want to be your friend," Jackson said firmly.
"I know, I know" replied Jonathan.
Suddenly Jonathan decided to walk with no real aim to it and Jackson followed.
"So what do we do now?" Jackson asked.
"Well I'm going to join the guild of growth
and see how it ends up for me there you know I don't know if you've forgotten but the god told us there was a war which I think may happen in the next year or so" Jonathan replied." see you, Jackson, " Jonathan said whilst walking away sounding faint.
Jonathan thought to himself that he should go to the guild of growth before the day is over and sign up.

Later That Day:
He arrives at the guild and walks up to a service desk a smiling receptionist can be seen talking to other adventurers.
"Hi welcome to the Guild of Growth how can I help you today?" The receptionist said sounding happy to be there.
Jonathan asked: "Hello, Where do I sign up for the guild I've finished my service with the military and want to aid the world in another way I feel it's my duty,"
Sir if you could look to your left there is a sign that says "SIGN UP TO BE AN ADVENTURER" "Please follow that sign and through there and give them this" the receptionist said showing him a document that you give to sign up.
"Hi I've come to sign up to join the guild," Jonathan said confused as to what to do.
"All that needs to be done is an aptitude test pass that and you will pass" an annoyed voice replied at the service desk. He then took out an orb-like object." touch it and hold your hand over it for a few seconds".The man commanded Jonathan.
He did as he was told and placed his hand over it and nothing happened.
"This can't be right how could this be happening to me I know I was the weakest there but could I have been so weak to the point of the guild of growth not even being able to recognise my growth potential".
'You passed F rank" better than failing Jonathan thought to himself.
"Quests are on the board there go look only quests marked e and frank can be done by you," The aptitude tester guy mentioned
gesturing towards aboard."Okay thanks," Jonathan said happy to have been accepted into the guild at all.
However, he realized that with his "Switch ability he could grow through that and gain experience with it" but the reality of the fact that he still had to do these tedious quests to move up in the world of adventurers was disappointing.
He walked over disappointed at his realization of the truth and viewed the available quests.
The quests available to him:
F RANK:HELP FIND LUCKY THE LOST GOLDEN RETRIEVER DOG
E RANK:AID THE POLICE IN CAPTURING A CRIMINAL.
F RANK:PICK 1KG OF GINGER AND OTHER MEDICINAL PLANTS.
"I wonder what would help the most I don't get paid for any of these so it doesn't matter but I guess I'll pick the plants one," He thought to himself sighing. As he walked over to grab the paper to hand into the front desk someone else grabbed the paper as him. To his surprise, it was Jackson his friend," Jackson what are you doing here I never would think to see you here at the guild of growth"Jonathan remarked."I thought about it for a while but I've decided it's better to work as an adventurer than to work an office job, it's just..just not in my blood to do it but I am also quite surprised to see you here, well let's hand this in and be on our way"Jackson said sounding rushed.
