"I chose the second option. So what is the timeline that I can choose characters from?" Asked Henry.
"Between the birth of Harry James Potter and his emancipation."
"Okay give me some time to think about it."
"Sure, take your time."
'hmmm. Now, who to choose? I don't have that much choice. All I can think of is
Harry. Yeah, I can always choose some random nice pureblood little wizard from some other Wizarding country other than Europe But, who can guarantee that there might not be someone like Tommy who likes to play with his soul just to get immortality? Yeah, not gonna risk that.'

The wizarding community has a thing called PLOT ARMOR which will keep him safe at least he graduates from Hogwarts though there might be some complications due to Dumb-o-Dork as I don't know what kind of person he really will be. But at least he will keep me alive till Voldemort doesn't die.' as he thought all these he finally made his decision.
"Please reincarnate me into the body of Harry Potter at the time he was born."
"Okay, Harry Potter it is. Let me remind you again that I've no control over what type of verse it will be as the mortals of your world have so many versions of the same verse circulating. Since you chose the second option you won't get an extra wish. That's all there is. So are you ready to be reincarnated?"
" Yes!"
Getting confirmation the golden entity waved its hand a pure black circular thing around 1/4 the size of a pea appeared in front of Henry and said "This Divine Crystal is the contract that you Henry Cross will become My Champion and get your wish fulfilled."
Hearing those words without hesitating even a bit Henry touched the Crystal.
Just as he touched it the crystal became a stream of light and disappeared inside his 'body' making him feel warm and cosy all over. The feeling was something he couldn't describe in words but he felt so comfortable that he doubted he'd ever be able to feel this again.
As he was relishing in that warm and comfortable feeling an excited voice of a little girl made him come back to his lenses "Yes! I've finally chosen my champion. Big brother and sister will be proud of me"
When he checked the source of the voice he was shocked to find that in the place of that mighty Golden Being who gave him a chance to live a life in a new world has disappeared and in place of it was a little girl of around the age of 13-14 jumping excitedly on the same couch with a happy expression.
Her hair was Black, white face with each feature beautiful to the extreme. A pair of black demonic looking eyes flashes mysteriously as she blinks.
Although she had an immature body, there was a special charm that attracted him towards her.
There was also this special feeling he was feeling. It was like he was connected to her somehow.
After her enthusiastic celebration, the little girl came to her senses and exclaimed
"OOPS! I forgot that you're still here... Anyway, go your own way and don't forget that from now on you are my Naomi Mithandrel's Champion. I expect great things from you. 😊" saying so she snapped her fingers without letting Henry say anything and a black vortex appeared in front of him and started sucking his soul inside it.
All this happened so quickly that by the time Henry came to his senses he was almost swallowed by the black hole"Wait...wait..was..."
"Don't worry my champion, we shall meet again. Have fun in your new life."
Those were the last words he heard as he was swallowed inside that hole and the hole started shrinking quickly.
Just as the hole was about to completely close a stream of purple light came from
Naomi's behind and disappeared into that same hole.
Seeing that light Naomi became surprised as she turned around to see an extremely beautiful woman with dark purple hair and eyes standing a few feet away from her staring at the place where the portal disappeared.
"SISTER! I've chosen my champion. I'm a good girl, right? Now I'm not small anymore. Hehehe." Seeing the woman Naomi showed an excited expression as she jumped towards the woman attempting to hug her, which was blocked by a chop on her head.
"Why did you hit me?" asked Naomi as she pouted while rubbing her head.
Seeing her expression an invisible arrow pierced the woman's heart as she thought 'critical hit... Aah what to do with this little girl
"Little Nia, why did you choose your champion now? You should have waited till you've become at least Rank 1 Godking before choosing a champion." said the purple-haired woman now identified as our Little Goddess's Sister.
"Big Brother Alex said that I'm ready to have a champion. It was also him who told me all those procedures required to choose a champion. Did I do something wrong, Sister?" Asked the little goddess, as tears started appearing in her eyes.
Seeing her sister's teary eyes she wasn't able to bring herself to reprimand her as she picked Nia in her embrace and said "Alright, alright. Don't cry now. You didn't do anything
bad. All I was saying is that if you would have waited till you reached the level of GodKing you would have been able to get more high level wishes to choose from for your champion making him more powerful and helpful."
"Eh? But Big Brother Alex said that the wishes will depend on the karma of the chosen mortal."
"Did he say that to you? He was lying. When your Brother Ryu chose his champion he was a rank 4 Divine being which is the level at which you can get the highest level and numbers of wishes for his champion making it easier for the champion to reach the level required to enter our world. And you little miss, is just a Rank 2 God barely passing the condition to get a champion. The level of wishes you can grant is so low that it's almost impossible for him to become powerful enough to enter our dimension. You should know what a champion symbolises to us. Do you understand what the main problem is here now?"
"But why would he lie to me? *Hic*. Now my champion won't be able to reach the level to come to our world. I won't be able to meet him anymore" said Little girl as she buried her face in her sister's blossom and started sobbing.
"It's all right, Nia. Sister already did something that will help your champion. Just don't tell anyone about it, okay?"
"Really sister?" Asked Nia poking her teary head out from her sister's embrace
"Yes, now my little angel can you tell me what wish he chose?"
"He chose Memory. The world was the Harry Potter world from 397's Dreamverse. Sister, is it good?" Asked Nia in a hopeful tone.
"Hmm... It would be good if it's just a normal Harry Potter-verse but since you don't have enough power the generated world will be random so we don't know how dangerous that world might be. Well, don't worry. Now go and cultivate hard as you still have to become stronger if you want to have a chance at The Trial Of Death. Big Sister has some stuff to take care of, will see you at dinner"
"Okay Sister, Bye!" Saying so she kissed her cheek and vanished from the room.
"Silly girl,'' thought the woman as she took out a black jade with some type of engraving on it and placed it on her forehead. After a few seconds the space in front of her distorted and a handsome man with silver hair and red eyes, in black attire appeared adorning his face with smiles "Little Sister Sylvia, when did you come back? You should have informed me beforehand so that I could have arranged a feast for your return."
Seeing the man angered appeared on the woman's face as she gritted her teeth and asked "Why did you do it, Alex? Every member of our race gets only one chance to choose a champion. And you know what a champion is to us. Once they Transcend to our Realm they become the perfect person to become our soul partner, and you!" pointing her finger at him "You ruined Nia's special chance. Are you so desperate for that inheritance that you are even ready to harm your little sister?"
"Well well well. Looks like you came back just for that little obstacle of my path to the inheritance. I apologise if I did something that you don't like but I don't wish any kind of disturbance in my plans to inherit Lord Death's inheritance. After that prophecy made by Divine Master Ren I did what I thought was best for me, even if it meant hurting my stepsister." replied Ryu in the same cold tone as he emphasised the relationship between him and Nia as he made sure that they aren't real siblings and he will take whatever measures he has to, to make sure he gets what he wants.
"You!" That's all she was able to say in anger before she was interrupted once again.
"If that's all you wanted to talk to me then please excuse me as my champion is on an E level mission issued by Immortal's guild and I need to make sure she will be safe," said Alex feeling happy about something as he vanished from the white room.
"That bastard. If it was not for the contract of Lord Death I would have loved to torture him for millions of years for what he did with my little angel." shouted the woman in anger as she flared up her aura.
After a few minutes she calmed down as she once again looked in the direction from where Henry vanished as she muttered "Memory huh? I don't have any idea what it'll become after using that card but it should be at least at level S. Hope you don't let my hard-earned chance go in vain my little angel's Champion" saying so she also teleported away from the room as she failed to notice a small grey crystal came out of her and vanished in a small rift as the room dissolved into tiny particles and blackness took over everything.
