Amaterasu
My sole power in this world is something that makes me different from the other citizens of the ninja world.
Recently, I started testing it out in the mountains near the hokage faces.
The reason why?
Because it's quite a solitary place, not many people come here, and in case they do, my byakugan helps me detect any ninja, be it from the anbu or the root.
And to be honest, it's the view from the top of the mountain every morning, the sunrise, and the ethereal yellow glow that spreads everywhere. It happens quite quickly, and seeing the start-to-finish contrast of the village at night and day is something that only a select few can enjoy.
The occasional rustle of the leaves, the soft winds flowing across my face, the grunts of the animals, or the chirping of the birds—except for these, this place has quite literally taken a special place in my heart.
'fire style-fire ball jutsu' the hand selas blur through his hands as he effortlessly casts the fire jutsu that the Uchiha clan is known to be famous for.
I still remember how I got this jutsu by defeating Itachi in a D-rank mission by collecting the weeds faster. A chuckle runs across the training ground as I remember how dejected Itachi looked at having to lose to me.
"Hehe, perks of having the byakugan."
'The only perk perhaps'I ponder with tears in my eyes.
Of course, he had to give me the jutsu afterwards.
'the fifth mission we had after having to find Madam Shimji's cat'
My thoughts get interrupted as the fireball that had just escaped my mouth burns the tree right in front of me.
' water style-water turret'
another C-rank jutsu of the water style. My chakra flows in the right direction, slowly forming a ball of water in my mouth. I release the jutsu while coating a layer of chakra over the inside.
A thin, pressurized steam of water escapes my mouth and hits the burning tree, reducing the tree to a black charcoal state, clearly dead.
"It took me around 40 percent chakra this time," the byakugan opened in all its glory, estimating the amount of chakra it contained and how fast it was to fire a jutsu of C rank caliber.
' 6 seconds for 12 seals in water style and 3 seconds for the six seals in fire style'
"Its still too slow, dammit," frustation etched on my face. I had been trying to master these jutsus for the last 10 days, yet my results came nowhere close to what I had been expecting.
'Is it a lack of talent?".
Being able to fire two C-rank jutsu's in under 6 seconds without having to consume could be called a prodigious talent anywhere in the ninja world and would have made anyone happy, yet Kuroko couldn't be satisfied with such a result.
' Future Itachi could do these jutsu's in under a second; how in the world did he accomplish such a thing? '
I felt perplexed as to the amount of genius Itachi had; no wonder Kishomoto called him the genius of the geniiuses.
' But at this rate, how will I even help the fourth hokage?',, the only thing that I can do now is use the power of amaterasu.'
The cold, chilly winter was slowly creeping its way up to Konoha. October was here, with today commencing its first day.
'Time to carry forward my plan'
The young hyuga moved towards the tree he charred, using his bare strength to break it open.
"One thing no one can be better than me in the future is my stamina," determined eyes stared towards the hokage tower.
The time had come.
to change it all.

The Uchiha household
The family of three had taken their places at the dining table, and the most conspicuous thing was the huge belly of Mikoto Uchiha, the wife of the Fugaku. Itachi had been expecting a little brother, evident from the majority of the yang chakra to the yin.
The table was filled with a multitude of dishes, each ranging from rice to shushi, with every one of them being Mikoto's favorite.
"Husband, let's start, shall we?" The black onyx eyes of the pregnant ninja looked lovingly towards her husband, already signaling for Itachi to start digging in. Her little Itachi is a ninja now, and her doting nature couldn't let him be hungry any longer.
Fugaku nods towards her, and Itachi tells them to start their dinner. The dinner continues in silence, the only noise being the chewing sound that came from Mikoto's direction, a little smile on Fugaku's face seeing his wife so jolly while eating. She looked so carefree that he forgot for a second that this same woman is a jonin of the Uchiha clan, and quite a dangerous one at that.
"Itachi, eat some more." Mikoto picks another dish and places it on Itachi's plate. "My boy is a ninja now, so you gotta eat like one."
"Yes, mother."
"Itachi," fugaku's stern eyes turn to his son. It was the most precious to him, yet he never let it show on his face. "Keep doing your mission and get stronger; the Uchiha expects great things from you."
"Yes, father." He places his chopsticks beside the plate and answers,I will make the Uchiha proud."
' You were right, Kuroko. I understand what is special to me and what I am putting effort into—peace—for Konoha and my family. Thank you, Kuroko, for showing me the right way, so I will make you both proud, father and Kuroko. Just you guys, wait'
Fugaku nods with a neutral look on his face.
' My son, you are more precious to me than any fame of the clan; you have no idea how proud you make me; thus, as your father, it's only right that I do my utmost in taking care of you.'
Both the father and son show nothing of their thoughts outside, yet the air around them seems to be dancing with joy, and of course Mikoto was still too busy with her food to notice anything.
The Uchiha household was enjoying its peace.
However, would it last for long?
