Chapter 13: 'first mission 2'
-Alex pov-
I slashed downwards with the fifth form, and when my sword clashed with the lowermoon's attack, I felt a shock going through my arms, almost as if I hit something metallic. I didn't give up and added as much strength as I could to push against the demon.
Suddenly, the ground broke under us, and I was quicker than the demon to take advantage of the height advantage while we were falling. The demon could no longer continue with the clash and was sent into the ground at high speed, but before she could collide with the ground, she disappeared. 'Oh right, her blood demon art.' 'This ability is a f*cking cheat' He was a bit mad as the demon he chased escaped so easily.
After getting out of the house, he just destroyed it. He disappeared like the other times when he was on the streets, but he was thinking, 'I'm not paying for this, I'm broke.'
(3 hours later)
Alex thought about his errors in the fight. There weren't that many, except the time it took for him to choose which form to use. The only way for him to win was to break his speed limitation, which would literally make him two times faster. Suddenly, a red window appeared in front of Alex.

'Wtf?' Before, he had more time to understand the situation. He dodged a bullet that left a small wound bleeding on his cheek. Because of what happened yesterday, Alex wasn't having it. He ran toward what seemed to be the source of the gunshot with his hand on his sword. Until he got punched by someone on his left and was sent flying. When he looked up, he finally realised who was facing him, and it didn't please him much. All he saw was a tall, muscular man with blonde hair and a metal arm.
'Well shit...' He thought as the winter soldier shot Alex in the chest. However, Alex didn't move and took the bullets, but they did only scratch, barely making blood come out. He was enraged as he realised that his worries were now futile because he knew that with his current stats, he could easily tank bullets. Alex rushed at the winter soldier without having even flinched, which shocked Bucky.
He punched the winter soldier, sending him flying through a tree. I hope he doesn't get up because I can't kill him because it would disrupt the timeline too much, and Avengers Endgame, for example, would probably be impossible to win if his death affected Captain America even slightly.
Of course, Bucky got up and looked at Alex with calculating eyes.
"Sigh... What does Hydra want with me?"
The winter soldier was surprised, or at least was as he quickly returned to his calculating expression.
"Look, I don't want to kill you, so leave or else..." said Alex.
Alex then grabbed the hilt of his sword, ready to use his first form.
"... won't be holding back."
The winter soldier looked at Alex and then at his metalic arm. After that, he rushed at Alex, ready to punch him with his metallic arm. Alex then moved at incredible speed and cut through the metal arm of Bucky. As the metal arm fell, Bucky was surprised as he barely saw the movement of Alex.
"Now my patience is over. If you don't leave in 5 seconds, I'm going to murder you." threatened Alex.
Bucky, who easily realised this fight was already lost and that beating him wouldn't be worth the risk, decided to run away.
Alex sat in a tree and thought, 'Why was this battle so one sidded?' After thinking about it, he realised his speed was probably the reason, as he was about 20 times faster than normal people with his techniques and stats, and that normally strong characters have way more strength than speed, so that gave him a massive advantage.
But honestly, now wasn't the time to think about that. He should think of a plan to beat the lowermoon that resides in this city.
(Next night)
After having prepared everything, I noticed it was evening, so I went on a roof close to the forest. As I was looking at the moon, I said.
"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" As I turned to look behind me, I saw nothing.
"Do you think I don't know you're here? Because if you don't, then you're wrong. "
The lowermoon 4 showed herself after my statement.
"How about we move out of the city?" asked Alex.
"Why would I do that?" The demon asked with a face that alone was saying, 'you dumb.'
"Because I'll retreat and annoy you for years." Alex said menacingly.
The demon looked like it was about to respond, but then stopped and gave a face that showed she was thinking.
"All right," she said.
Alex ran to a specific place in the forest. Once they both arrived, Alex was on a tree branch looking down at the lowermoon. He took the initiative and jumped while slashing down at the demon.
'Third Form Blazing Universe...'
She barely dodged the attack and attacked his side after it. Alex thought of that before and was ready to counter-attack.
'Second Form Rising Scorching Sun...'
He thought as he slashed right through the arm of the demon instantly. The demon backed away as its arm slowly started to heal at a visible speed, but before the arm could heal, Alex attacked again.
'Fourth Form, Blooming Flame Undulation...'
Alex thought, as he swinged his sword in a circular motion, that the demon blocked the attack with its other arm, which was its error, as Alex didn't just do the fourth form for an attack. A few seconds later, multiple trees fell on the demon as Alex retreated to avoid getting hurt.
