Chapter 14: Alodia Modeling Agency
On the top floor of a high-rise building a man in his early forties can be seen staring on the large window to see the city down bellow.
The door of the man's office opened and a woman in business attire entered. There's a stack of paper on the woman's hand.
"Good afternoon, President." The woman greeted the man politely and bowed slightly.
"Vivienne, did you do what I ordered you to do?" The man who we found out is the president asked the woman that entered his office, whose name is Vivienne.
Vivienne lowered her head before speaking, "I'm sorry, President. We couldn't ente-"
Bang!
The President slammed his hand on his desk after he turned around swiftly. Vivienne flinch almost making the papers on her hand fall.
"I don't want to hear your sorry, Vivienne." The President gritted his teeth before continued speaking, "Now, tell me how did those from Alodia managed to enter? They aren't even on par with our company."
Vivienne bit her lower lip before speaking, "They could only enter because their President's nephew is one of the students in the school, president."
"Then get your f*cking niece, nephew, or children transferred in that f*cking school too!" The president pushed his hair back in frustration, "Do whatever it takes to get that guy under our company as a model."
"If I came to know that you failed this task I will deduct this month's salary." With that the president kicked Vivienne out of his office.
The president sat on his chair as he stared at the computer screen in front of him. He is looking at a post with half a million likes and more than a thousand comments.
This is a photo of Xander that got spread in the internet. Someone from Kang Highschool posted this picture in their Startagram account and it became quite famous.
A lot of people commented of how handsome Xander is in the picture is while some just admired the photogenic face of Xander.
The president saw this photo and immediately called people to scout Xander.
The president immediately knew that the student in the photo is someone who had the looks of a person who will be famous.
But who would have thought that a small company like Alodia Modeling Agency would scout Xander first? The president was furious of course.
He must get this guy under his company at all cost.

Xander put on his backpack unaware of the anger of a certain president.
"Hey, Xander-shi." Hei Ran who is sitting beside Xander's desk called him.
"Do you need something from me, Hei Ran-shi?" Xander is already standing up and getting ready to leave when Hei Ran called him.
Hei Ran shook her head.
"Do you think that everytime I call you, I need something from you?"
"Yes." Xander replied.
Hei Ran was quiet for a second before speaking, "Your actually right-.."
"I wanted to ask if your free tomorrow?"
'Does Hei Ran want to go on a date? She's literally a 16 year old. I am in my early twenties! But I am inside of Xander's body which is sixteen also though.. STILL!! I have to reject her.' Xander thought.
"I'm sorry but I didn't think this will work out." Xander said firmly.
Hei Ran sighed. She appears to be desperate.
"I wanted to leave my pet cat, Mocha in your care tomorrow because I have to go to my grandmother's house the whole day." Hei Ran shook her head before laying it down on the desk.
Xander blinked. She was not asking him on a date?
"Oh.. Uhm.. Actually Hei Ran-shi, I'm not busy tomorrow. I just cleared out my schedule." Xabder lied.
"Really!?" Hei Ran stood up happily.
Xander nodded in response.
"Great! I'll leave Mocha in your care tomorrow then! We have no classes tomorrow anyway. Thank you, Xander-shi!" Hei Ran bowed a couple of times. She must really love her cat, Mocha.

The next day Hei Ran left Mocha with Xander before she left to go to her grandmother's.
Mocha is a female Birman cat. She has a very fluffy fur and her eyes are a beautiful shade of deep blue.
Mocha and Zeus seems to get along quite good. They mind each others business and just walk pass each other without making a fuss. They sometimes look at each other but mostly ignored one another though.
"Zeus, come eat your breakfast." Xander placed Xander's bowl on the floor.
Zeus ran to his bowl and started to eat it. Xander smiled and patted Zeus' head before going to the kitchen to make Mocha's breakfast.
Mocha made her way to the kitchen and jumped on the kitchen island using the stool.
"Here you go Mocha." Xander placed the small bowl with cat food on the kitchen island where Mocha is currently laying down.
After feeding the pets. Xander sat on the couch. Mocha in his left and Zues on his right while they watch a TV drama together.
Xander suddenly remembered something and went to his room to get his backpack. He opened the front pocket of his black backpack and took out a black business card with the name 'Alodia Modeling Angency' in the middle.
Xander made his way back on the couch with his phone and black business card on his hand. He sat in the middle of the couch, in between the two pets.
Xander turned the business card around to look at the phone number written there. He opened his phone and dialed the number.
Ring... Ring...
After the second ring the phone was picked up. A soft and gentle voice spoke on the other line, "Hello, this is Alodia Modeling Agency. How can we help you?"
"Hello. This is Xander Lee from Kang High school."
"Oh! Mr. Lee! Our president was expecting your call. Is it alright if I transfer the phone to him?" The gentle voice asked.
"Yes." Xander replied with one word.
A few seconds later the gentle voice is replaced by a deep and hoarse voice, "Hello, is this Mr. Lee Xander?"
"Uh, yes?"
Who would have thought that the president of a company lowered himself to talk to a person his employees are trying to scout.
"Great! Are you perhaps free this Friday afternoon?" The president of AMA shortcut of Alodia Modeling Agency cause the author is lazy to write the full name of the company.
"Yes, I am Mr. President." Xander replied as Mocha lay down on his lap.
"Then,.. My secretary will contact you about the meeting place Mr. Lee. I hope to see next time, as a model under our company." The President laughed.
After saying farewell Xander cut the call.
When Xander was about to put his phone on the coffee table, his phone rang indicating a call.
(Goddess Lee) that was the caller ID.
Xander quickly answered the phone call with a subtle smile.
"Xander." The old woman's voice can be heard on the other line.
"Hello, grandma. How are you doing?" Xander asked while he pat Zeus beside him.
"I'm doing well, my smart grandson. I heard that you got scouted by a model agency though." Xander shook his head knowing that Grandmother Lee is always keeping an eye on him.
Xander knows that Grandmother Lee knew about this matter as soon as those model scout handed him their business card. Grandmother Lee didn't tell Xander about this matter till the next day to not make it obvious that she is always looking out for him.
Xander wanted a peaceful life without the control of Grandmother Lee. But he knows that the old woman just wanted to see if Xander is doing well. He is not under the protection of Grandmother Lee anymore.
Xander is now living by himself. Grandmother Lee couldn't help but be worried for her only family that is alive.
Still. Xander found this uncomfortable.
"Yes, I did Grandma." Xander didn't confront his grandmother about this matter tho.
"You know we have connections to help you be a model, Xander. Why did you want to go into a small agency like Alodia?" His Grandmother couldn't help but be curious.
"I don't want to go to the backdoor, grandma. Plus, I'm supposed to be living in a lowkey life for the next few years. It's better to be like this." Xander sighed.
"Alright, alright.. Call me if you ever need help. The Lee family's heir will always be your identity whether you want to be an actor, policeman, Teacher, or a model. Remember that, Xander." Grandmother Lee spoke with a soft tone.
Xander smiled as Zeus' place his head on Xander's shoulder.
"Yes, grandma." With that the call ended.
Xander place his phone back on the coffee table. He leaned back on the couch with the two pets in his arms.
"What?" Xander asked Zeus who is looking at him with bright eyes. What does this dog want?
Zeus suddenly jump off the couch and went back a few minutes later with his leash on his mouth. Xander chuckled and put the Leash on Zeus' collar.
Xander put on a pair of white sneakers and a black face mask to cover his face. He noticed that a photo of him taken by one of his classmates started circulating in Startagram so quite a few people recognized him in the streets.
Xander carried Mocha using his free hand while his other hand is holding onto Xander's leash.
The three of them left the apartment and started walking towards the park.
