Chapter 4: Congratulations
"I know what I saw"
"*sigh, Mira, my brother Bruno lost his way"
"I don't want the same for you"
"Get some sleep you'll feel better tomorrow" said Julieta to Mirabel.
"Wait!" both Mirabel and Julieta heard Isabela's voice.
"What is that?" asked Mirabel as she and her mother peeked from the kitchen.
"Who is that guy?" asked Mirabel.
"Oh it's Pedro, both he and Isabela use to play when they were kids, sometimes Camilo and Dolores will join in too" answered Julieta with a sigh.
"His mother died when he was born, while his father grew ill, I haven't seen that child goes out and play with other kids as he seems to be taking care of his father."
"*sigh I was there when his father died, unfortunately, my gift cannot save his father" a trace of sadness can be seen on Julieta as she failed to save a life.
"After his father's death, I don't know how but Isabela became friends with him, then after that almost every day Isabela would go out to Pedro's house."
"A year later I notice that Isabela often stays home until she stopped meeting with Pedro."
"I tried to ask her but she only kept silent"
Mirabel listens to her mother as she looks at both Isabela and Pedro.

"Long time no see Isabela" I greeted Isabela.
"Lo-long time no see, Pe-Pedro" replied Isabela not daring to look at Pedro.
"How many years has it been?" I asked with a smile.
"I-I-I....."
"Oh right, I heard that tomorrow is your betrothal congratulations in advance, I'm sorry if I didn't prepare any present''
"I will make it up to you next time"
"Uhm, do you want to say something?" I asked as I gaze at the dark sky.
"I-I....." words don't seem to come out of Isabela.
"If there is none, I'll go first it is getting late." I turn back and am about to walk out when I stop.
"You should..... always wear that smile of yours it makes you a lot more beautiful," I said without looking at her as I continue to walk without looking back.
*plop
Isabela slumped to the ground, as tears burst from her eyes.
I heard her cry and it pained my heart, but I act as I didn't hear anything, as I proceed on my way with none of the expressions I have earlier.

Both Mirabel and Julieta heard and saw everything.
Julieta felt sad for her daughter and wanted to comfort her, but she wants Isabela to overcome her problems.
Mirabel, on the other hand, feels different, this is the first time she saw Isabela who is completely different from her perfect self.
This is the first time she saw the imperfect side of Isabela.

Dolores who has been listening find out that Isabela has no feelings for Mariano.
Even then she feels sad for Isabela, at the same time apologetic for Pedro, as she, Camilo, and Isabela, didn't even say goodbye, they just stop playing him.

As I reach my home, my heart feels heavy, I sat on the couch and stared at the photo of me and Isabela when we were kids.
I shifted my gaze to the flower pot, that I've been taking care of since the day I received it.
"You won't leave too right?" I asked as I found it funny for speaking to a plant.
*sigh
I dozed off for a bit then fell asleep.

The next day on Casa Madrigal, Mirabel walks to 'Dolores'.
"Dolores hey....."
".....like the problem with the magic last night that no one seemed to worry about, but maybe you heard about that maybe I should know about," said Mirabel.
Felix is behind them, standing behind him is Dolores.
"Camilo! Stop pretending you're Dolores so you can have seconds." 'Dolores' morphs back into Camilo.
"Worth a shot" as he walks away.
Dolores whispered to Mirabel.
"The only one worried about the magic is you, and Luisa, I heard her eye twitching all night."
"Oh and I don't know if I should tell this to you, but last night I followed Isabela, she talks with Pedro, I'm sure you heard them, as both of you and Tia Julieta is in the kitchen, I think you should also have a talk with him, about Isabela."
"A talk about Isabela?" Mirabel immediately frowned, but then she saw the state Isabela was in last night.
"I-I'll think about it" as Mirabel walk to Luisa.
As Mirabel is about to walk to Luisa.
Abuela Alma walks in.
"Everyone to the table let's go, let's go"
"Family we are thankful for Antonio's wonderful new gift"
Abuela goes to her chair and finds a coatis in it.
"I told them to warm up your seat" said Antonio as he smiled and went back on reading.
"Thank you Toñito. I- Oh you seem to be reading something."
"Can I see?" asked Abuela.
Antonio grabbed the 4 books and give them to Abuela.
"I already finish these four Abuela, you can read it." Antonio continues reading.
Abuela takes one, while Felix and Camilo take one each.
"This is my first time seeing my baby so focus on reading, so cute" said Pepa as she read the book on Felix's hand.
"Pokemon? interesting name, where did you get this from, Hijo?" asked Abuela as it piqued her interest.
"Uhm Pedro gave it to me last night, he said it is his present for my birthday"
"Pedro" Julieta, Mirabel, and Dolores muttered as they remember last night about Isabela.
Camilo froze up a bit before continuing to read.
Isabela just kept silent.
"Pedro? oh isn't he the one, who Isabela, Camilo, and Dolores used to play with?"
"Ye-yes Abuela" answered Camilo as he smiled bitterly.
"I see" as she saw Pedro's name written in the book.
Abuela closed and put down the book and starts her speech.
".....as must we all, we are the caretakers of this Encanto....."
"You do!" Mirabel pounds the table excitedly.
"Mirabel! If you can't pay attention I will help you"
"Casita!" the house moves Mirabel next to Abuela.
"As I was saying, we must never take our miracle for granted, so today, we will work twice as hard"
"First, an announcement"
"I've spoken to the Guzmans about Mariano's proposal to Isabela. Dolores, do we have a date?" Abuela asked Dolores who takes a deep breath.
"Tonight.....He wants five babies"
Isabela just kept silent and forced out a smile to Abuela.
"Wonderful, such a fine young man with our perfect Isa- what happened to your eyes Isabela?" asked
Abuela worriedly as she saw the puffy eyes of Isabela.
"It's nothing Abuela" as Isabela wipe her eyes.
"Have some Arepa Isabela" as Julieta give Arepas con Queso to Isabela with a worried look.
"Thank you Mama" Isabela take a bite, and her puffy eyes healed up.
"Are you sure you're okay Isabela? we need it perfect tonight"
"Hmm" answered Isabela.
"Okay, our community is counting on us, La Familia Madrigal!"
"La Familia Madrigal!"
Everyone gets up, except Antonio, Camilo, and Felix as they are completely immersed in reading Pokemon.
"Maravilloso Mijo, let me see the next one" as Felix reached out his hand to grab another Pokemon manga.
"Ow, ow, okay, okay" Pepa grabs Felix's ears and drag him away.
"Is this all?" Antonio cannot believe that there are no chapters anymore.
Antonio immediately looked at Camilo who is still reading.
"What?" as Camilo saw the stare of Antonio.
"Where is the house of Pedro?"
"I don't know" answered Camilo.
"I heard Abuela, that you, Dolores, and Isabela are friends with him"
"Er..... did she say that?" asked Camilo as his sweat trickled down his face.

"So, tonight is the betrothal of Isabela huh" as I water the flowers.
I look at our photo and couldn't help but a smile formed on my face.
*knock *knock
'It's been so long since I heard a knock on my door'
I remember the years when I look forward to someone knocking at my door, but it never happens.
I open the door, hoping for that someone.
'Seems like I'm expecting too much' As I found a little kid riding a jaguar and a toucan on his shoulders.
"Whats up Antonio" I greet him with a smile.
"Hola Pedro" he greeted back.
"So what brings you here" I asked
"Uhm you see, the book Pokemon you gave me last night, I-I finished all of it" said Antonio while scratching his head.
'That fast?' I thought as I looked at Antonio in shock, as I never thought he will finished it all today.
"Uhm d-do you have, the other books?"
"I'm sorry little guy, but I still haven't written the others" I said as my clones only copy the first 5 volumes of Pokemon.
"But I may have other stories that might interest you"
"Come inside" as I let Antonio and his animals inside my house.
"Sit right there and wait for me I will be right back" as I point at the couch and enter my room.
"Okay"
Antonio looks around then his gaze halts at the wall as he saw many portraits of a girl.
He jumps out of the couch and takes a closer look and found a picture of two kids, a boy, and a girl both grinning from ear to ear.
As I walk out of my room carrying five volumes of Naruto, though I modified it a bit, put on clothes for Naruto's sexy jutsu and others.
I found Antonio seems to be looking at the picture of me and Isabela.
"Pedro is that Isabela's picture, there are so many"
"Yep that is Isabela"
"Then who are that girl and boy?"
"Oh that's me and my best friend"
"Oh right here is the other books, I'm sure you will love it" I hand him the book.
"C-can I read it here?" asked Antonio with excitement as he look at the new books.
"Okay, Oh right here some snacks" I gave him a bowl of potato chips and a glass of orange juice, for the toucan, I fed it some fruits and a leftover steak for the jaguar.
"What is this, it is so delicious" Antonio eats potato chips.
"Its called potato chips"
"I'll cook some food first" as I head to the kitchen.
Antonio is completely immersed in the world of ninjas and failed to hear what I just said.
(A few minutes later)
"What is that smell?" Antonio as he stops reading.
"What to join me for lunch?"
"O-okay" as he hurried to the dining table.
Antonio saw a big pot of broth at the center of the table and varieties of food that he haven't seen before.
"So many" said Antonio.
"Have a seat" as I pointed on the empty seat and pass him a spoon and fork.
"What are you using?" as he saw that I used chopsticks.
"It's called chopsticks, want to try?" I passed him a pair of chopsticks and teach him how to use them.
Though a bit clumsy he still manages to grab a piece of meat and dip it into the hot broth.
"So delicious" as he put the meat in his mouth.
"Here try it" I fed the jaguar and the toucan.
"*burp that's the best food I ever taste in entire my life," said Antonio while holding his tummy as he continue to read.
I sat on my recliner and decided to take a quick nap.
(A.N. The interior of the house still looks the same, and the chairs, table, couch, and other's design is old)

In the Casa Madrigal Abuela welcomes the Guzmans as she leads her to the dining table.
"Where is Antonio?" asked Pepa to Camilo asked clouds start to build up.
"U-uhm he's on Pedro's house" answered Camilo.
"Pedro? what is Antonio doing there?" Asked Pepa as Felix tried to calm her down.
"I think it is about the books"
"Go get him it's getting late and the Guzmans are here" said Pepa to Camilo.
Mirabel overheard Pepa.
"Tia Pepa I'll go and get Antonio" said Mirabel as she rushes out of the Casa Madrigal.

As I open my eyes I saw Antonio doing some hand signs.
'What is this kid doing?'
"Oy Antonio, what are you doing?"
"I'm trying to copy the hand signs in Naruto, I want to become a ninja" said Antonio with stars in his eyes.
'So he chose the path of a Ninja' I thought.
"Okay, but I think it is getting late you should go home first you can come again tomorrow" I said
"Before you go take this" I materialized a toy kunai and five toy shurikens.
"Woahhh" Antonio look at the kunai and shuriken with excitement.
"I-is this for me?"
I nodded
I also take out a fake forehead protector with a butterfly as a symbol.
"Here this is your forehead protector, you need to practice first in throwing kunai and shuriken before I give you the real one"
Antonio takes the forehead protector with trembling hands as he wears it on his forehead.
Then I suddenly heard a knock.
*knock *knock
As I open the door I saw a girl with curly hair and round-framed glasses.
"Hola Pedro"
"Mirabel? What brings you here?"

(A.N. Hello Pelouca here, sorry for the late chapter, my internet connection have a problem so I might not upload a chapter tomorrow.
Btw I tried the drama and I'm not sure if its good, I also add some Spanish words not sure if I got them correctly, I add that as I watched the movie some of them spoke some words especially Felix sooo yeah.
I use google translate for the words heheh.
As for the Pokemon manga I search a bit and found that there are many Pokemon manga and I cannot exactly find the Ash and Pikachu in Anime Adaptation so the Pokemon manga here will follow the anime. That's all thank you)
